Chapter Text
Izuku thought, maybe It was a bad idea as he was standing in front of that nice looking house. It was a peaceful night only disturbed by the loud music, that pounded through the windows. He was on his way, to his first party experience since middle school. Which honestly doesn't go well. The whole middle school thing.
Since his childhood friend moved away as he entered called school, everything went downhill. His Kacchan had always been like a protective older brother and the day he was now longer around, nobody was there who cared for little Izuku. He was a nerd and truly proud of his super hero and manga collection. He thought, maybe one day he would meet a true hero. Or even better, be the hero. That was the day, his former classmates couldn't hold it any longer. They started making fun of him, his appearance and the fact that Izuku doesn’t looked like his super hero's. A small guy, a little on the chubby side thanks to endless movie nights paired with his favorite snacks. He tried hard to wave it all off, smiling at every insult and just shrug his shoulders to them.
During that time, Izuku could feel himself falling apart peace by peace but doesn’t wanted to show them how there Insults where getting under his skin.
It all got worse, as one day at the mall one off his classmates caught him swooning over a new super hero comic he was inspecting. Izuku with blushing cheeks, deep in thoughts as he admired said super hero, mumbled to himself how he would wish to sink in those strong arms. Maybe Izuku was just a big simp or in reality Izuku figured that he might be gay. To his horror, so did his classmate and during his third year of middle school he broke.
Izuku was about to end everything, as on one saturday evening he was home alone. He wanted to look one last time through his stuff and then say goodbye with an overdosed cocktail of vodka and painkillers. But it seemed that faith wanted something else for him. As he was cuddling his beloved Ground Zero plush. Kacchans parting gift. His was friend was never as much of a fan then he was, but he had tould Izuku ones, that if he truly wanted to be a hero that he needed to stand up every time he falls. Also, he promised that they would catch up as soon as possible. So Izuku instead said to himself, that he should give it a try to get his life back together.
As Izuku entered college, he was barely the same boy. Still a little chubby, but definitely not defenseless. He stand up for himself and for others if they needed him.
Still without real close friends, but with a lot more confidence. With nineteen he got his tongue pierced, after the first time he moved out from his parents with twenty one Izuku got his first tattoo. The logo badge of one of his favorite super heroes, Red Riot. Also his first fictional crush.
As he turned twenty five, Izuku looked like some cartoon goth character out of one of his comic books. Tattooed rainbow freckles, between the real ones he already had. A full Arm sleeve of badges and logos from his favorite heroes. Several piercings on his ears, one on the bridge of his nose and a spider bite in the left corner of his mouth. Maybe some more, hidden beneath his clothes. Also scars covered his right hand from that time as he punched through a window during one of his high school fights.
But all of his confidence he build up, during his late teen years seems to fade as he stands here, looking with wide eyes up and down. It was a nice looking family house, in a nice looking neighborhood, there was no doubt. But all of a sudden he felt his body shaking and clenched his hand into fists. Izuku remembered his first party in middle school, he got pushed down the punch bowl and was nearly drowned in that sweet ass party punch. Back then, his mother had insisted he should go, to bond with his classmates. I would be good for him, she said. It would be fun, his dad said. That was the first and the last time Izuku took advice from his mother and it was the first and the last she even dared to make such a suggestion.
After he let his thoughts go wild, his anxiety kicked in and he shook his head. “Maybe next time...” he lied to himself and was about to turn around as a familiar voice called out to him. “Izuku! You made it, wait I’ll go open up for you.” - “Denki” he called out, fake smile as he looked back. Spotting the blond, hanging out from one of the window, which now was wide open.
He was the one, who invited Izuku to said party, even though he wasn’t the host. But he insisted. Denki worked in the local tattoo and piercing studio. He was the one who did his the last bit of his current body jewelry. They always would talk a little during thees sessions. It was nothing deep, but a nice calming chatter. Then one day, it was the other way around. Denki was his customer at the local comic shop where Izuku currently worked. He was surprised to see the blonde, he could tell Denki was more of a music enthusiastic then a super hero or manga lover. He usally would wear some wid neck band shirts paired with a leather jacked. So his curiosity got the best of him and Izuku asked him out of the blue as Denki smashed one art complication book from one of the most popular romance manga he know onto his counter. “That? Oh no nono, its for my fiance! We have anniversary in a few days.” He had given Izuki the biggest smile, the green haired had ever seen on his face. But as he looked down again, he scratched his cheek and said in a playful manner “I didn’t know Hitoshi was into romance...they always seemed to be more into...well the tragic stuff.” After that Denkis smile faded, he looked down at the book and back up again to Izuku. “B-but but there is a skull?” He had said hopefully and looked back down. “Its a vampire romance, nothing deep and more on the soft side...come on, I can show you something that might be a better choice...”
Izuku only knew about Denkis fiance, because of the fact that they also worked at the same tattoo and piercing studio. Well, they own it. Hitoschi makes the most incredible blackwork tattoo he had ever seen in his life. Horror artwork, that would put every sleep paralises demon to shame.
So that was, was Izuku had sugessted for them and had shown Denki some of there more graphic books they had in there adult section.
It had been a success, after there anniversary day Denki came back to the shop. Thanked Izuku a thousand times, told him every detail about the amazing private time they had after dinner and invited him to this party. He said It would be fun, he was in charge of the music and his friends where pretty chill people. Izuku was to nice for his own good sometimes and had easily agreed.
The front door slammed open, it reveals a smiling blond with two bottles of beer in his hands. Denki looks like his usual self close up, expect a bit more spicy. Instead of a wide loose fitting band-shirt he wore a snug fitting mesh shirt underneath his leather jacket. Paired with some ripped jeans and a pair of chunky boots with several studs. It also looked like, he had switched out the piercings in his face. Instead of colorful beads and rings, he was only wearing spikes to match his collar he guessed. “Come on dude, its chilly. But I guess, you won’t be could tonight if I introduce you to the right people. “Denki said with a sly smile and looked Izuku up and down. The green haired blinked a little confused. ‘I am overdressed?’ He wondered, before he slowly walked up to the blond.
Instead of his usual merch shirts, he was wearing a double layered shirt. A pretty loose tank, that slipped over his shoulder with a long sleeved fishnet shirt underneath. He doesn’t wanted to hide his tattoos, he was proud of them. But maybe it has been to much that his nipples where peeking out with these little metal rings. Ore maybe the fact that his black jeans barely reached his hips, to show off a teasing glint off skin? He do put on some muscle, he wasn’t ripped by any means but confident in his body. “Should I go change?” He blurted out, as he stood before Denki and slowly grabbing a bottle from his hands. “Ouh no no no, don’t you dare. Come in already!” The blonde stepped aside and Izuku gulped. He entered the door, as soon as Denki slammed the door shut behind him Izuku took a deep sip from his bottle. This was going to be fun right?
