julieta was cooking in the kitchen. of course, it is no suprise. always cooking, always healing. don't get her wrong, julieta LOVES to help people, and she always has. but cooking until she falls asleep and her hermano bruno has to carry her to her bed after he found her on the floor again, covered with flour is not how she wanted to heal people. she wanted to heal their hearts by learning psychology.
but it doesn't matter what she wants. the town needs her as a healer.
she tried to grab the suger, but casita moved it to the floor.
''hey, casit-''
it took the suger outside of the kitchen, so julieta followed with a sigh. she had no time for games.
''what the-?''

pepa was reading a book. ah, the love interest dies, of course. when the farmers needs rain, mama always gives her tragic books. pepa doesn't like books with sad endings. she never did. but it doesn't matter what she thinks if her thoughts don't bring with them the emotions that create the perfect weather for the encanto. as the tears started to make their way to her eyes, she wondered when will she ever get to rest. as her eyes wandered to the engagement ring that laid on her middle finger, she thought about her amor ,felix, who feels whatever emotion his heart tells him to. must be easy, right? whatever it is love for her, or anger about a test he didn't pass at high school. a tile pet her leg cut her thoughts. ''not now, casita.'' she mumbled. she needs to be sad today. she couldn't accept comfort. but when the bed she set on started to move, her sadness was replaced with annoyance.
''casita, what are you doing?!''
instead of answering, the bed boost it speed.
she closed her eyes tightly until the bed stopped moving. when she opened her eyes, she had no idea where was she.

bruno was sobbing in his cave. he had a vision about someone's grandma getting cancer. one of the deasies julieta can't heal with food. what should he do? telling the the woman would make her HATE him. on the other hand, like his mama always says 'what is your gift good for if you are too afraid to show it?'
but mama never has to avoid going out because the glares were too much for her.
sometimes he wishes there was another outcasted madrigal, so someone will be able to understand him. but as he wiped the tears away, he mentally kicked himself for wanting such a horrible thing.
'why can't I do anything right?'
suddenly, all of the stairs in his tower turned into a very long slide. 'that is weird,' bruno thought, 'casita can't affect our rooms.' as he went down the slide, he wondered what is casita planning for him.
