   Summary

   He realized long ago that Blackbeard is like broken glass. Too many shards scattered everywhere, pieces of himself and his heart too fractured to be put back together again. It’s what drew Izzy to him in the first place — knowing that they were cracked in the same ways, hopeful that maybe they could find a way to fit together.
