everything was quiet when Grizzop came to, he peeks his eyes open to realize the room he was in is darker too, the walls around them were made of ruffer stone, almost as though it was hastily carve-out of a large stone, the soft sand he stood on was now made of large ruff gravel, and a faint cold light spilled threw the, well ware the door was, this place was dark and cold and somehow, felt like somewhere he would find Sasha.
he turns towards the archway, moving towards it, as the vast empty underground city comes into view, other London, the thought slips through Grizzops head, a ghost of a memory. coming to the edge of the room and down the two broken stone steps into what appeared to be a rooftop, close to the top of the tunnels. looking around, looking for Sasha, there was a feeling, something telling him where to go. Grizzop took a breath, "Artemis guide me." he asked softly hand to the symbol on his chest before opening his eyes and allowing the fealing.
hoping rooftops, crossing little bridges made of spare wood until he sees it, a small finger in the distance, pale draped in dark clothes, sitting on the edge of the roof, looming over the city. slowly, he approaches, "Sasha?" he asked once he's a few feet away, the small finger turns to look at him, Dark owlish eyes, one framed in a dark bruise look up at him. She's swamped in an oversized leather jacket, and a too-big shirt and pants, held on by a pair of old suspenders. She's got a small knife in her hands. this is without a doubt, Sasha.
he sits down next to her, and she looks as though she wants to move but doesn't, "Sasha?" he asks again.
"yea?" she asks, still staring at him warily.
"do you know where we are Sasha?" he asks softly. this small child, smaller than he is, is Sasha. and she doesn't seem to quite" remember him.
"Yea, we're on my favourite root top, in other London." she says, "usually Broke's here with me, but he's gone." she looks down at the knife sadly, twisting it between her fingers. she looks up, "everyone seems t' be gone."
"Sasha, do you know what's going on." he asked, the same time he use to ask his kids whenever they were upset, or scared. Sasha shook her head pulling her knees up to her chest.
"no, Broke was supposed 't come back, and he hasn't yet, an', an'-"
"your dead Sasha!" Grizzop cut in, he felt bad for her, she looked so upset.
"No, No, I can't, I have to waste for him, I told him I'd water for him-" she was panicking, almost trying to pull away from him, her cheeks now red and tearstained. he reached forward and grabbed her hands.
"your dead sasha, but you don'-"
"No!" she screamed pulling away from him, "No! I can't, I told him id-"
"he's dead too." he just barely managed to say in a soft voice, almost wanting to yell at her as he did with the knife, he closed his eyes and took a breath. when he opened them he wasn't faced with a little girl anymore, instead, he was staring at an older girl, mabby 10-14 based on her size and dress. her hair was longer, at least shoulder length, and she was dressed up similarly to how Eldarean had dressed, black smudges ran down her cheeks, "Sasha I'm so-" he was interrupted by the girl collapsing into his arms, she was just barely bigger than him, but with her curled up like this she almost felt smaller.
Sasha had never been one for physical contact, so this was extremely new, but also carry nice, " your dead," he said again and she barred her face further into his shoulder, "but you have a chance to come back, to finish what you started, and I." he passed, he wasn't supposed to force her, it was her decision. if he had it his way we would drag her back to the land of the living, but this was her choice, "we want you to come back."
he pulled away from her and looked at her. he was looking at something more closely resembling the Sasha he knows, short choppy hair, a leather jacket, decked out in studs, and a bloody cloth wrapped around her hand where a finger was missing, "alright." she said quietly and Grizzop stood, pulling her up with him, "thanks for coming to get me Grizz."
they made their way back to the room, her quietly trailing behind him and just before they got back to the room, Grizzop turns and gives her a hug
when Grizzop came to, the first thing he noticed was a thick layer of frost covering everything, and then Sasha, seemingly asleep as the frost and ice on her clothes broke. her hair a bright snow wight and her scars were all gone.
