Work Text:
Lords of Camelot
Uther is a mighty King,
A Leader of Men, a Winner -
Benevolently governing
His land, and exposing the sinners-
The hinky, jinxy golden eyed,
Those black souled magic wielders,
He thwarts their plans for regicide,
He teaches those wheeler dealers !
Uther is a righteous man,
An ivory knight, with his glorious sword -
Uther belongs to the Pendragon clan,
But I am a Dragonlord.
Arthur is a reasonable royal,
A man of action, of reason and fact,
Observant, intelligent, inconveniently loyal,
He handles his household with grace and tact.
Arthur tries to save them all,
The thieves, the poor, the desperate (And such) -
He staves off the power of the Devil's call,
Standing firm 'gainst Magyk's touch.
Arthur rules with an open mind
That slams shut to Magic, that craft abhorred,
Arthur may be of the Pendragon kind,
But I am a Dragonlord.
Morgana is a clearsighted Dame,
Who lives by the addage, 'An eye for an eye',
She always knows just who to blame,
And lets not vengeance pass her by.
Morgana is a woman just,
Who never harms the innocent,
Immune to rage, and powerlust,
She's tempered, rather than militant.
Morgana is both canny and shrewd,
She's the voice of the masses, unheard and ignored,
Morgana may be of the Pendragon Brood,
But I am a Dragonlord.
