“So how long have you guys been dating?”
Kate looked at Clint in shock. “What? We haven’t been dating! Yelena and I are just friends,” she said. Clint raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical.
“I’m serious!” Kate said. Clint gave her an unconvinced look and began hanging the tinsel.
”Sorry, but I don’t think “just friends” look at each other like that. You remind me of myself and Laura, back in our SHIELD days,” Clint said. Kate blushed.
Clint continued, seemingly determined to prove his claim. “And you guys go on dates! How are you not dating if you go on dates?”
“Those are not dates!” Kate said. Clint looked at her. “What are they, then?” he asked.
Kate blushed again. “Platonic…friendly…outings,” she said. Clint raised an eyebrow.
“Sure.”
