Work Text:
This morning was like every other morning in Pixie Hollow. The sun was shining, the air was warm, and fairies of every season were getting ready for the spring. Tinker Bell woke up with her usual bedhead of hair inside her teapot home and quickly got ready for her day of work. The blond tinker fairy had put her hair into her infamous bun, green dress, and green shoes with cotton balls on them, made herself her favorite drink, hot chamomile tea with honey and some milk wheat whip, quickly packed her tools, which were made with a combination of leaves, sticks, and lost things, and flew out the door.
“Hey Tink!” said a familiar voice. “Find any new lost things?” Tink stopped to see the fairy in front of her was her animal fairy friend Fawn. Her long, brown ponytail braid was hanging down her back as she greeted her with the widest smile she’s ever seen. “No, not really. Surprisingly, not many lost things are washing up on the shore” Tink replied. “That’s weird.” Fawn replied back. “Usually, it’s a gold mine for lost things.” Tink nodded in reply. ‘Anyway, fly with ya later!” “Bye Fawn!”
As she continued, she passed through garden fairies painting flowers, fast flying fairies practicing their speed, and animal fairies teaching a group of birds’ how to fly.
Once, she got to Tinkers Nook, two sparrowmen flew in front of her. One was skinny with red hair and huge glasses with teardrop lenses. The other was a bit bigger with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. “Why hello there Miss Bell!” the redhead politely. “Hey Clank! Hey Bobble!” Tink said happily to her friend. They have been proud tinker fairies since the day Tinker Bell was born from a child’s laughter. The three of them love to create the tools the nature fairies need to succeed in bringing the changing of the seasons to the Mainland.
‘Ready for a new day of tinkering?” Bobble said happily. “Of course!” Clank said excitedly.
“Clanky, I was talking to Tinker Bell” Bobble corrected his tinkering buddy. “Sorry Bobble my bad” replied Clank with a slight smile. Clank may not have be the smartest sparrowman in Pixie Hollow but he has a huge heart.
“Good morning Tinker Bell. Ready to work I see.” Fairy Mary noticed. The brown haired leader of the tinker fairies was holding a note pad made of leaves, writing some notes down for the day.
“Of course Fairy Mary.”
“Now, you have a lot to do today. Miss Bell. First of all, the garden fairies need 8 more ladybug painters for springtime. Also, the animal fairies need more paints for the butterflies. Lastly, leaf baskets are needed in Springtime Square to hold flowers and seeds. Can you handle all that?” Fairy Mary said as-a-matter-of-factly. “I’ll make sure you have help”
“Thanks Fairy Mary. I can’t wait to get started.” “You better get started then” Fairy Mary said urgently with a smile.
So, Tinker Bell and the group of tinker fairies with her went to work on the things Fairy Mary has assigned to her a couple minutes earlier.
All of a sudden, Fawn, Rosetta, Vidia, Silvermist, and Iridessa flew into the Tinker’s Nook to tell her some interesting news. “Uh Tink, Iridessa started worriedly. “Someone is here to see you. But he isn’t a sparrowman.” “We think he’s human.” Silvermist said nervously.
“Are you not telling us something Little-Miss-Spare-Parts?” questioned Vidia with a sly brow. “ When have you ever had a relationship with a human besides Lizzie?” said Rosetta, fixing her hair. The girls took Tink to the shores of Neverland and when the fairies approached, Tink saw a familiar figure in front of her.
