Chapter Text

The soft song of the velvet room played through the- well the velvet room. It was a soft melody that can get you to calm down, there in the middle sat a long-nosed bald-headed man tapping onto the table with great interest. The ends of his mouth split wide as the three attendants of the said room were standing beside the one in charge.

They all watched the three wildcards, who were in different times fail to win the final fight. They still need more power before they could continue. The man in the middle known as 'Igor' oversaw this process and sighed "my my .. it seems they need more willpower.." the three women all dressed in blue looked over to their master, eyes wide.

"Then what do you propose?" Lavenza, the young new attendant asked the bald-headed man, eyes furrowed in confusion. Said man in question chuckled as a response then continued "Let us send them into a new challenging world." As those words left his mouth Margaret, in charge of the truth seeking wildcard, humbly bowed a bit before asking the other a question.

"But master, why?" a simple question that got a complicated answer. Igor looked at Margaret before answering "the wildcards must gain new power before being brought back. It is simple, leave them into that world to develop their powers and bring them back once they are finished." it was weird for this, most they do is bring them back and let them forget about the past then farm back up the levels afterwards.

It was confusing to say the least, but no one objected to the idea, a bright laugh filled up the room as Elizabeth heaved a big hearty laugh. "HAHAHA! Master, this is truly amazing!" Elizabeth gave a smile and a thumbs up before asking “Which world?" Igor then took some cards from a deck and laid them out in front of the other attendants and pointed to a world where powers exist

It was a simple gesture yet it held many meanings, this world makes it easier for the three wildcards to adapt and use their powers to its full potential. Without even having to hide and get caught. It was the perfect world for them, "Lavenza, Margaret, Elizabeth." Igor said, putting the scattered cards back into the deck once more before looking at the three.

"You know what to do." Igor finished, the three nodded at Igor and left going their separate ways to get the three wildcards in place and ready to be transported.

The day Minato had to fight the final boss. SEES right behind him as they trudge up the steps of Tartarus. It was a simple mission, defeat it and go home. Minato deserved a break from these extracurricular activities brought forth to him since the fight on the roof. Since Orpheus had awakened from the depths of Minato's mind, speaking of his mind. The personas he caught were bustling in the headspace

"I have a bad feeling.." Loki voiced their concern to the wildcard

A scoff then was heard in the headspace "Calm down Loki, we got this." words of encouragement were shared from Orpheus, truly the other version of Minato

Norn flew behind the two "Would you both quiet down? We are almost there after all."

This snapped the two out of their little fight and focused onto the much bigger fight looming before them. Minato also snapped out of his daze, something he did when conversing with his persona. Looking at his friends, the SEES gang. Minato nodded, confirming that they will all enter the area and fight the final boss. They will make it unscathed .. such funny last words.

Minato stared at Nyx as the boy placed the evokers barrel at his temple and pulled the trigger yelling out "PERSONA" as a flying figure stood behind him. Norn was there in all her glory hugging the clock underneath her.

A wind attack filled the area as it hit Nyx, dealing semi-decent damage at its wake. Minato's eyes narrowed, guess they gotta chip away its damage to get even close to finishing this battle. And so the game of hit–get-hit-and–hit started.

Minato ordered the SEES members to attack, Yukari to focus on healing, and Mitsuru switching from attack to heal. This battle strategy was the best he could come up with. They only got one chance, they surely would not fail.

After skimming through a bunch of sp regeneration items for Yukari as well as other members, as they did that Akihiko got a bit scarred by an attack Minato's head quickly zoomed to look at Akihiko "You good Akihiko-senpai?" Minato asked, wanting some confirmation if the other should switch out and wait in the backlines for a bit.

Akihiko stood up rubbing his cheek before nodding "I'm good leader! Still ready to fight!" At this confirmation Minato nodded and got back to look at Nyx. This was the teamwork SEES had, it was very good teamwork probably all thanks to Minato's guidance.

He was the leader of SEES since day one with Tartarus and would be for the rest of his life. Even if he was always tired and never was the one to be outgoing it brought a certain charm to the people around him.

A shot made Minato snap out of his daze and saw Yukari summon her persona, quickly healing Akihiko. The older thanked the younger and turned back to fight Nyx now prepared and ready for the next attack.

Koromaru barked and the dog’s persona came behind him attacking Nyx using a physical attack, Ken was behind the dog spear at the ready as Ken jumped over the dog and got an attack at the enemy.

A small ghostly smile was on Minato's lips, they've gone so far. The smile then was wiped off as soon as it came, he could do emotions but it was rare and only for a split second

Aigis, the robot Minato grew fond of, aimed her guns at Nyx and shot some bullets out, dealing a plethora amount of damage to the other. They were gaining the upper hand, Minato was sure they'd pull this off and defeat Nyx. To save the world.

After a few more of what felt like hours of chipping the enemy's damage, they were at the final stretch. Just a few more damage to do and they'd win. They were a bit exhausted but nothing they couldn't handle.

They just need to pull through and win this, Minato commanded Orpheus as the persona charged at Nyx and bashed it with their harp. Minato staggered a bit but was still standing. It took quite a lot out of him.

Junpei then jumped and dodged an attack summoning his persona to deal heavy damage back. "Nice dodge!" Fuuka complimented Junpei as he nodded in retaliation, Yukari healed the weakened SEES members as they got up taking a battle stance.

They were almost done, just a few more hits should be it. Akihiko charged forward with boxing gloves attacking the god that stands between them and victory. Ken provided support and Aigis shot down Nyx using her blasters. It was all going according to plan

Mitsuru did a Bufudyne at Nyx as it dealt a hefty amount of damage "we are so close! Keep fighting!" Mitsuru encouraged the rest as Minato stuck in behind her and dealt a few decent attacks before falling back down.

"Ooo let me out!" Cybele asked Minato floating in the air

Minato shook his head at the request and muttered an apology under his breath making sure Cybele could hear "Sorry, but Thor could handle Nyx better than you." It was a short apology but Cybele nodded at Minato, understanding the reason.

Only one last round remains, SEES would win. The wildcard was sure of it, giving a nod Minato sent out Junpei to do a normal attack. Oh how wrong that would be. As Nyx was knocked down Minato lightly yelled the word "NOW!" as SEES rushed to Nyx dealing damage.

They almost won, the win on the tip of his fingers .. as it slipped.

Nyx stood up and gave a blow, as the SEES were all weak so the blow was very painful for them all. One by one they all got hit by a skill resulting in ones death.

"JUNPEI!" Minato screamed as Junpei got hit by a huge strike making him fall down onto the ground, not moving nor responding to anyone. Minato was in shock, and so was everyone. Are they gonna lose?

Minato refused, he ordered Yukari to heal Junpei, Yukari nodded. Yukari stood before Junpei, The next thing that happened? She flew back onto the ground landing a fatal blow on her head. The Lovers Arcana their only best healer .. down just like that. Minato's eyes widened at the sight .. no.

Akihiko grew angry as he charged head-on Minato just stood there rooted to the ground as he watched Akihiko, the last remains of him flew back after a slap from the back of the hand ultimately ending his life.

Mitsuru tried to handle her own ground but it failed, she tried to heal but it was too late. The leader could only watch, weakened as he tried to grab the evoker and lift it up to help but alas. Mitsuru laid there unmoving and dead after getting hit by a fire attack.

Fuuka, their support who stayed at the back of the team providing heals tried to heal the rest to continue forward evoker to her head ready to summon the persona, for only darkness to envelop her. A bright curse attack .. and Fuuka was gone. Just like that.

Ken and Koromaru hugged each other. Oh, Ken, he was a small child having to go through this all. Minato pitted him, yet that pity was sent down. He has to help. They were just new to this all. Koromaru whimpered as Ken clutched the dog muttering "we'll be safe" all over. Minato knew that was wrong.

Wind enveloped them as they were two blown away Koromaru getting hit by a bright light as for Ken darkness enveloped him just like it did to Fuuka, both lying down on the ground dead.

Minato stared at the destruction of the roof of the tower, SEES dropping like flies, no beads nor revivations to heal them. Nothing, Minato had gone unprepared. Pupils looked around nervously as he stood at the ruins, that's when the wildcard looked up,

Looking down upon him was Nyx, Minato shook at his place personas in his mind going haywire, Norn was trying to calm down Minato but the words fell on deaf ears. Orpheus yelled out profanities, and Titania sniffled and held onto the hem of her skirt. All the personas in his mind have their own reaction to their own defeat caused by him.

The silent protagonist wished this was all fake and the members would stand up and fight alongside him once more. Minato waited, but no one got up. Minato was disappointed in himself, he failed them as a leader and as a friend.

Staring at his demise Minato accepted that fate and waited for his life to be stripped away and taken. When the final blow was placed, Minato saw the blue butterfly fluttering beside him. Darkness enveloped his vision.

The Messiah had died.

Yu, the leader of the investigation team ran up the steps of heaven which was the dungeon of his pseudo sibling, Nanako. This will be the day the investigation team will get Nanako out and finish the dungeon.

Yu needed to save Nanako, being in the TV world that long would deplete someone's health. Nanako was a child, she could not handle the pain. Yu, as the older brother he is, needs to get Nanako out. One way or another.

The steps seemed like an endless loop, the halls were all the same. Yu needed to compose himself. As the suave leader he is, Yu needs to bring hope to the investigation team. Make sure everything would be okay, that he has everything under control

The investigation team will win this fight one way or another. Yu was sure of it, the personas in his head were also sure. Everything will be fine in the end as usual. They will achieve victory, they will take Nanako back and stop the true culprit.

They weren't named the 'investigation team' for nothing.

As Yu finished the little monologue and resounding "HEE HOO'' took over his headspace, that hee hoo came from Black frost. Yu smiled internally at the encouragement. Black frost was one of Yu's favorite personas but then again the wildcard loved all of them equally

The personas in his head laughed at the encouragement and started cheering on reassuring the wildcard. Yeah .. they'll make it. Yu was sure of it.

Yu had started the fight as the investigation team waited for his call. It was now or never, Yu grabbed his long sword and held it close. Personas at the tip of his fingers ready to be summoned from their cards.

"Rise, got any weaknesses?" Yu asked the navigator of the team, needing to find its weaknesses fast and quick. Yu then could prioritize its weakness to gain the upper hand in this fight.

Rise got her persona out and scanned the boss, "I don't think it has a weakness senpai!" Rise said as Yu sighed "guess we gotta use everything we got!" Yu yelled out in encouragement as the investigation team cheered on

Crushing their tarot cards as they all summoned their personas going in to attack Nanako down on the ground beside them possibly from fatigue. Yu clenched his teeth in anger and yelled out a personas name "Leanan Sidhe!"

Yu crushed the tarot card in front of him as a figure loomed behind him, a girl wearing a purple dress holding two items floated behind him "what move should I use today? Leanan Sidhe asked

The wildcard moved back and put his arm out in front of him and yelled out "Marin Karin!" The familiar spell was casted Yu hoped it works so they could gain a little bit of damage at the shadow.

But alas this fight was horrible as the boss dodged, Yu scoffed at that. "don't be discouraged partner! You'll get it next time!" Yosuke encouraged the other as Yu turned to look at him and nodded, it's not like it's the end of the world or anything.

Chie yelled as she summoned her persona to deal a heavy amount of damage "Agneyastra!!" The familiar heavy skill was yelled out as the battlefield shook and an explosion happened as it dealt 500 damage.

"Alright, Chie!!" Teddie cheered on behind them as the bear rushed forward after the attack doing a normal damage using his weapon, dealing slightly little damage compared to the big one Chie had dealt

Rise then buffed up the team a little as the idol cheered "you guys got this!" without realizing the boss had summoned little shadows to fight as Rise got hit a little "AHHH!" she screamed before scurrying up and moving behind some other members of the party that so happened to be Kanji

"You alright?" Yukiko asked fan panned out as she hit the shadow that once hit Rise, the idol nodded "I'm fine! Just help senpai!" Rise gave a thumbs up and a toothy grin as Yukiko went back into battle.

Kanji held onto his chair and bashed it at the shadow "we're almost done! Keep it up!" Kanji yelled some words of encouragement as Naoto shot the being behind Kanji, hand holding the brim of her hat.

"You will NOT save the child! She is safe in the hands of heaven!" the shadow said before healing up to full health. "WHAT?!" Rise yelled "that is so unfair!" all the damage they dealt was for nothing then

Then, the fight got worse. Everyone was out of SP, Yu didn't stock up on the food that gave them SP so this would turn out for the worst.

The fight resumed smoothly ... if you don't count Yosuke fainting and dying that is. "PARTNER!" Yosuke yelled as Yu got distracted the grey bowl cut leader turned to look at Yosuke diving for him before being pushed away the shadow had decided to target him but Yosuke was there to protect him.

It would've been fine. If Yosuke hadn't died from the fatal blow. "YOSUKE!" Yu yelled in retaliation, angry that someone who'd been stuck by him since the very beginning when Yu was in Inaba had died.

That death would leave Yu scarred, leaving Yu to blame and grief.

Yukiko gasped at the death of their member searching through her bag for a revivation bead or anything of value. Finding nothing, Yukiko's tears started flowing with water "no.."

Rise then gave the final words "Yosuke.." that was until a yell of anguish came from Chie, Yu looked at her eyes wide as she rushed in "CHIE NO!" Yu yelled hand outstretched as Chie tried to get a hit but was grabbed by the feet and thrown into a wall as it cracked and crashed, and dust flew everywhere.

There, Chie's unmoving body laid, dead on the ground. It was in an uncomfortable position. The back of her head was bleeding. Possibly from the impact of the throw. The martial-loving person, the chariot .. had died, and the link was snapped as Yu felt it. Leaving nothing from the chariot side.

Teddie watched before looking angrily at the shadow "that wasn't BEARY NICE!" Teddie yelled out, the shadow said nothing. That made Kanji sick in the stomach. "Sorry senpai." Kanji muttered before summoning his persona trying to deal damage knowing that it would do nothing but hurt him more.

Doing a physical move he lost some health but Kanji didn't care. As long as the rest of his friends could finish the job and get Nanako out of here. The move did a few damages but ultimately killed Kanji by a simple attack the shadow had done. Kanji's body fell down onto the ground. Splat.

Naoto shook in anger, clutching her gun "for Kanji-san. For everyone." Naoto said before stepping out to the front. Yu rushed over holding her shoulder with a hand before staggering as Naoto shifted it away with a swift move of her shoulder, "you guys got this." looking behind her and nodding.

Getting her gun at the ready Naoto rushed forward the sound of gun bullets rang out as Naoto's arm made a 'crack' sound. The bones of her arm cracked by a simple squeeze and tossed away like a rag doll leading to the same fate Chie had.

Yukiko's eyes furrowed in anger "PERSONA!" she yelled out, summoning it. Yu was in shock, why were they all doing this. They could've won together if they didn't sacrifice each other. Please hang on. Yu wanted to say but nothing came out of his wide mouth. He couldn't handle this seeing all his friends, his found family die one by one just for Yu to beat this and win.

Yukiko did an agidyne before the energy was drained out of her. Tired, she fell down onto her knees, fan out of the grip of her hand, and was thrown far away. The shadow just laughed mockingly, crushing the fan that was now in front of them and snapped their fingers, dealing a lot of ice damage to Yukiko.

Rise made a choked sob before saying "Yosuke, Chie, Kanji, Naoto, Yukiko .. have.." she mustered up the strength before saying "have fallen."

"Rise-chan.." Teddie said before rushing over "HIYAAAA!" but it was futile grabbing the dome of his head. Teddie's head was crushed into pieces leaving nothing but a body behind.

Yu watched in horror, wait .. which means- Yu turned to look behind a shadow creeping up on Rise "RISE!" Yu yelled, feeling the cards switch in him as he crushed a tarot card as Vishnuu came to life "RIOT GUN!" Yu yelled as a gun pierced the shadow.

Rise looked relieved "thanks senpai!" the idol turned to Yu as the leader sighed in relief. Yet the deaths of his fellow friends left him stunned. He could've saved them, but why? Maybe he wasn't fast enough? He's always not fast enough.

Rise looked beyond before gasping at the sudden hit. Yu looked up and saw Rise got hit by a shadow. "NO!" Yu rushed over to Rise before seeing it plunge a spear into Rise, Yu skidded to a stop as Rise's bloodied body loomed before him.

"Sen.. senpai.." Rise choked out looking up right at Yu's gray eyes in fear. "I'll be alright.. go get him!" Rise said hand lifting up ever so slowly before it was shifted into a shaky thumbs up. "we're.." Rise coughed out blood "we're cheering for you.." Rise said, giving a shaky smile.

That was the last Yu saw of Rise before she closed her eyes, face now flat on the ground. Glasses, crushed underneath the concrete floor.

Yu's head snapped at the shadow, this was the final straw. Yu's long sword held tightly in his grip as Yu yelled out a battle cry sword at the ready to attack. And that was it.

The shadow had won. Yu's limp body fell down onto the ground beside Teddies. Maybe they were pushing the truth .. too far. If only time could be controllable. Yu would've known what to do next time.

But what made it worse, Yu heard the screams of his cousin .. no .. did he fail..? "BIG BROTHER HELP!" Those were the last words he heard before seeing a splat of blood came into his view .. NO- if only he could get up .. if only ..

But it was too late, darkness consumed him. Death took him.

This right here was the end of the investigation team. Case closed.

Joker watched Tokyo as he exited the velvet room after getting everybody out of their cells. It had merged with mementos and all the people were oblivious to the fact.

"Woahh.." Ryuji said in amazement "now that I look at it, this place is so messed up!" He continued his sentence, "skull!" Ann smacked the top of Ryuj's head "ouchh Ann!" Ryuji whined in pain rubbing his head.

"We're supposed to go, not sit around!" Ann said her reasoning for hitting the blond-haired male. Mona then stepped in "stop bickering and let's go, right leader?"

The group turned to Joker, the frizzy-haired boy looked back at the group, domino mask staring at them back. Joker nodded, "yeah. We got this." Joker said in encouragement as the rest of the thieves nodded.

Then the rest of the thieves climbed up the tower basically going to heaven. Fitting for the false god, Futaba shrieked and went a bit deeper to the side than being close to the edge "this is so .. tall!" Futaba said.

Joker looked back "do you want to be beside me?" he asked for his sister figure. Oracle looked at Akira and nodded "yes please.." the younger made her way to Joker's side and stood there.

"Wait, guys! I sense enemy readings!" Futaba exclaimed moving back bumping into Yusuke who stumbled back as well, there an angel popped up right before them. "Alright guys, you know what to do!"

Joker yelled out, the rest of the thieves nodding behind him "they're gonna save the world from this false god one way or another. "alright! It's showtime!"

The big god loomed before them as the group reached the top of the stairs "woahh what the heck!" Ryuji yelled out in surprise Makoto nodded beside him "that is one huge god, are you sure we can handle this Joker?" the student council looked over to the leader.

Said leader nodding "of course, we won't give up!" Joker yelled out in encouragement as the rest of the thieves cheered in agreement.

"Let's do this!" Morgana said as the thieves took their battle stances initiating battle.

Ryuji led with a gods hand dealing colossal damage to the false god, followed up by Ann with blazing hell dealing severe fire damage. "power up!'' Those words echoed in the thieves' earpieces as they felt stronger with the boost from Futaba.

Haru summoned her persona "Triple down!" multiple gunshots rang through the arena as it hit the god, "nice job Noir!" Futaba cheered as their Navi, Joker walked up summoning Seth and doing a Megidolaon dealing medium damage.

"You are pathetic mortals!" the false god yelled as a mechanical arm came out grabbing an item. "What the heck?!" Futaba screeched "that's-" before she could continue. Yaldabaoth finished "I call upon the seven deadly sins!"

A bell was brought out as Yaldabaoth rang it "oh no be careful guys!" Futaba yelled out in concern, Yusuke summoned Goemon and got in a hefty amount of ice damage at the god. Yusuke walked over to Joker and high fived him "your turn."

Joker nodded in response and dashed over, getting his gun out and firing eight times before stopping each bullet dealing 100 damage, it lowered Yaldaboth's health.

"My turn!" Morgana yelled out waiting for Joker to switch with him as the leader walked over Morgana jumped up and hit the palm of Joker's hand before walking over "zorro show your might!" the not-cat yelled out as massive wind came out of the cat and towards the boss.

"Amazing as always." Morgana complimented himself before looking at Ann "how do you like that Lady Ann?" Morgana swayed a bit before hearing a cough from Makoto "stay focus Mona..." she said the cat's eyes widen "right sorry." he bowed his head in shame.

"RRRAGH!" Ryuji yelled, rushing over and hitting the false gods body with his pipe. "how'd ya like that??" Ryuji yelled out giving an insane smile before getting grabbed by Ann "hey hey Ann!" Ryuji trashed in her grip as they both screamed narrowingly avoiding an attack.

"Be careful Skull!" Ann scolded before healing Ryuji a bit. "Now go back and let the rest have their turn!" Ann scolded once more as Ryuji begrudgingly did it walking back to the back of the group.

Joker snickered at the two of his friend's antics "c'mon guys it's a group effort, Ryuji good job." Akira complimented the blond-haired boy as Ryuji smirked at Akira "thanks dude!"

"Ooo brother Ryuji is so funny!" Alice's voice echoed in Joker's mind as the small persona giggled, Arsene just shook his head silently both personas watching in amusement at Akira's team.

Akira smiled softly before turning back into battle "Alice! Die for me!" the persona who just commented gasped widely and stepped out into the world "yayy! I get to play!” Then a band of teddies rushed over to the god dealing immense curse damage.

"How did I do big brother?" Alice turned to look at Joker for approval, Akira nodded before saying "you did good I'm proud." The persona then giggled and dispersed into flames going back into the headspace.

"You mortals should BACK DOWN!" Yaldabaoth screeched as the god prepared for a huge attack. "guys!" Futaba yelled out "guard now! It's gonna be a huge one!" at that everyone looked at Joker who nodded saying that we should all guard. Doing so the group prepared themselves for a huge attack that was gonna be from the false god, and after a few, the attack came dealing medium-like damage.

"Phew that was close, thanks Oracle!" Haru complimented as Futaba chuckled "no problem Noir!" Yusuke stepped forward, "indeed without you we'd probably be toast." the artist crossed his arms and gave a small smile to Futaba.

"Hehehe.." Futaba said adjusting her goggles, Joker smiled widely at the interaction, never a dull moment with the group. Turning around to look at the false god Joker summoned more of his persona to deal damage and win the fight.

Just a few more and the world is saved, they can go back home and live a normal life. Everything would be fine, Joker was positive the days of grinding in mementos will be worth it.

Grabbing his gun, Joker shot the god before the ground shook rapidly, everyone yelled out shouts of distress as Joker thought 'what the hell is happening?!' the shaking soon stopped as a roar reached Akira's ears as he looked up Yaldabaoth was the cause of it.

"I.. REFUSE.. TO BE.. DEFEATED.. BY YOU!" a gust of wind was brought forth and almost blew them all away as they all stood their ground. "We won't let you wi-" Haru started but was cut off by the groundbreaking and a nuke skill was brought forth on her place blowing her back.

The cause? Queen, Makoto Nijima. "queen?!" Ryuji said his words shaking trying to find what's wrong turns out Queen was well- brainwashed by Yaldabaoth. Which was bad.

"Yes.. YES!" Yaldabaoth laughed as Queen went at Haru before Noir died by a punch in the gut and blew away back and off the cliff onto the ground. Joker was shocked, mouth agape trying to form words before a squelch was heard looking over Joker almost threw up.

There sat Queen, arm in her stomach like a donut maker as blood gushed out. Queen removed the arm and fell onto the ground a pool of familiar blood oozed on the ground as the smell almost made Joker lose his composure and just threw up, it made his stomach churn.

Queen fell and the rest of the thieves lost two members just like that, death wasn't something none of the thieves weren't familiar with they saw it happen first hand. Then why was this making them churn in disgust? Maybe it was the fact that their friends are dropping like flies.

Afterward, the Navi had died, "Joker! LOOK OUT!" Futaba screamed as it barely scraped by Joker hitting him head-on, before Joker could recover something shot past the leader and behind,, no..

Turning around a bless attack shot Futaba in the heart as the Navi coughed up blood, and fell onto the ground. Yusuke rushed over "are you o-" before the artist finished his question the answer he got was an explosion between them both sending them with Haru down the cliff of the tower.

It was safe to say ,, the thieves lost two other members. "no.. Fox,, Oracle.." Panther said with hushed whispers, "WHAT THE HELL MAN??" Ryuji said accusingly as Skull turned to look at the false god.

"you.." Ryuji then rushed forward "SKULL!!" Ann said running forward. "you gu-" Joker said wanting to warn them but it was too late, they both ran straight to death's door and Joker had done nothing to stop it which would lead to huge guilt sooner or later.

Watching Ryuji dodge an attack only for it to hit Panther who was right behind, getting distracted Skull looked back "SHIT ANN-" not using the code names Ryuji scurried to a stop and ran back to check on his friend only for an attack shooting between the distance.

Ryuji flew back onto the back of the false gods torso before looking up, "oh shit.." were the last words as the bell Yaldabaoth held fell down onto Skull leaving the track star dead on the ground.

"Skull... no.. please- Joker do something!" Ann asked or begged the leader, turning to look at the domino mask bearer before choking on her saliva looking down Ann saw her body split in half from a blade. Using her willpower the persona user looked at Mona.

"Mona.. why.." before falling down dead on the ground. The cat then jumped at Joker who effortlessly dodged the attack as the two did battle on the ground. Mona was brainwashed as Queen had been.

Joker, who was tired, stumbled down as the not-cat pounced on the leader. Joker then kicked the not-cat off "Morgana please.. don't make me do this." the not-cat didn't say a word still under the false gods command. Joker grabbed his pistol and shot the cat.

"I didn't-" Joker started as if it was muscle memory or a reflex of sorts. He didn't mean to kill Mona, he didn't mean to do any of this. The not-cat fell on the ground dead. Joker angrily looked at the false god "this is all your fault." Joker started lifting himself up.

"You are the cause of this. Your little silly game led them to die." Akira shouted at the false god ready to fight for the rest until something pierced his heart. Looking down, Yaldabaoth had pierced his heart with a sharp blade as Akira staggered.

Clutching the fabric on top of where his heart should be, Joker fell down onto the ground. Yaldabaoth only laughed in his face "foolish human, I will always win.."

Joker heard as his breath started getting weaker "no.. I can't.. lose.." Akira let out his final breath as he stopped breathing, his heart stopped pumping. The only things he could hear through the ringing in his ears were a dark chuckle from the one and ]only false god.

He wasn't the fearless leader, the infamous leader of the phantom thieves. He was a failure, all his friends died gruesome deaths because of his leadership.

He wonders what Akechi's thinking right now, he'll know once he gets to hell.

The thieves failed to steal the false gods heart.

Chapter Text

The attendants came back from their journey on collecting the three wildcards who had fallen, ready for the transportation to commence. Igor looked at them and nodded.

"It is time.." the long-nosed person said grabbing the cards and placing them onto the table as Igor started the spell, cards scattering around the table at lightning speed. A glow of blue-emitting from the table as the cards flew up.

Three cards that had the fool flew the highest spinning around, multiple other cards below it circling it. Igor made sure their connections were wiped clean, new connections shall be made throughout their journey.

A black-haired soon-to-be red-haired was paired with the chariot card.

A green-haired boy was then seen paired up with the magician arcana.

A red and white-haired boy was next, being paired up with the card known as the devil.

This goes on until all the cards for each fool were paired up with a person, the wind was hazy as the fools and the rest of the arcana were spinning rapidly. Then the whole show was stopped.

The three watched with amused eyes as the cards fell after the whole light show. A bubble popped up and pointed to an alleyway, and the bodies of the three wildcards disappeared from the room.

"come, let us watch all of their adventures," Igor said placing his cheek on his hand in amusement, what will the wildcards do in a new environment with nothing but themselves? Oh, how he wonders...

Joker only saw dark, nothing else. Was this hell? Well, he knew he was going to hell no one was sinless enough to go to heaven. Akira's consciousness lay there for a solid few seconds before a bright velvet light zoomed past him.

Shocked was an understatement Akira then saw more lights flash through until it was blinding him, shutting his eyes Akira braced himself for what was to come. Soon Akira felt his feet hit the ground, the frizzy-haired teen landed on his own two feet before slowly opening his eyes.

There Akira stood in an empty alleyway, looking at the bright sky, it was mid-day. Wait, where was he? That thought lingered in Akira's mind for some time. The alleyway was like any other yet it meant a whole lot right now.

That said, Akira adjusted his eyes so his vision would be clearer. Taking the time to take in the situation right now, Akira who is him is in a normal alleyway after he assumed, died from Yaldabaoth. Supposed to go to the afterlife is now here in an alleyway of sorts.

That confused Akira quite a lot, was this the afterlife? Did he get saved? Those questions ran into Akira's mind rent free which did not help in the slightest. He also .. felt younger, a year younger. During this dilemma, Akira did not take in his surroundings well enough because seen beside him was a gray-haired figure around the same age who just so happened to wake up at this moment.

The groan made Akira jump at the noise, someone else was with him, turning to look at where the voice came from Akira saw a gray-haired male. Possibly taller than him, wearing a uniform Akira had recognized but hadn't at the same time it was somewhere in his brain but Akira can't figure it out as his brain was on high alert and had no time to figure out schools.

The unknown man grabbed his head in pain as Akira watched from where he stood. Sitting up Akira finally got a good look at the other. Same age, high school student .. why was he here?

Collecting his thoughts Akira wracked his brain about why they were here in this alleyway, what connection do they have? While Akira was thinking the gray-haired male stood up and backed away from Akira, with a composed face yet beneath it was shock and confusion.

Akira watched carefully and was on guard afraid the other might be an enemy of sorts. As Yu looked around he turned to look at Akira and ask "where are we? Who are you?" ah the questions, the shorter which was Akira placed his hands in his pockets and shifted the weight onto one of his legs.

"I don't know.." Akira answered the question looking away from Yu to look at the bustling city at the entrance of the alleyway watching the people walk past. But one thing shocked him, mutants. Hybrids? Wolf people? He doesn't know what it's called but all he knows is that this isn't normal.

That question got Yu to stand up as he was kind of hurt that Akira had shrugged off the 'who are you' question but then again it seems that answering the question was the least of their worries as Yu had also looked at the end of the alleyway to the open street and walked back in shock unknowingly hitting another person awake.

The blue-haired teen stirred awake from his sleep and sat up quietly looking at the other two people in this alleyway, Minato felt something in him that says to 'trust them' and the other to 'run away'

He didn't know this feeling but his personas acted differently .. it was quiet .. too quiet to be normal, and it was usual for some personas to bicker yet they kept quiet. He knew their presence was there, he was after all connected to them but to suddenly go radio silent is a different question.

The two in question were looking at each other in disbelief, the first wildcard in this group wondered what they were looking at, so he bluntly asked. "what are you two looking at?"

Shocked at the new voice Yu who was closest turned behind to see Minato in all his glory, a red armband that had the word 'SEES' situated on his shoulder, the school uniform that Yu certainly had seen before during a trip.

Minato finally took the energy in him to stand up, but slightly staggered a bit, the effects of the dark hour possibly had hit him after the adrenaline was over. Yu who had the instinct or muscle memory after being used to catching tired members easily reached out and steadied the other. Not earning a thank you from the other which him a bit offended but had no right to worry about not getting a thank you right now.

Akira watched this whole thing happen as the frizzy-haired teen then turned to look at the world outside the dark dingy alleyway, wanting to head straight through would be well- overwhelming, to say the least, he'd look like any passerby but it'd be a lot for his brain to handle.

Turning back around Akira saw how the white-haired boy asked the other if they were alright which the other responded with a slight nod. First foremost Akira had to figure out who they are since A. Akira had some recollection about the white-haired boy's uniform and B. this was the only thing that can keep Akira from trying to figure out where the hell they are and C. the personas in him felt- distant. The personas were encouraging him to talk to the others yet he can't hear their voices.

Right now Alice would go "let's play with them big brother!" and so on so forth. But the pain of not feeling them resided in Akira's chest, like a tightening feeling ready to pull him to the ground at any chance it gets. Aka; the feeling sucks and Akira wants it gone.

Shuffling, Akira cleared his throat, oh how he wished the confidence of his alter ego Joker can go through to him. Maybe because he got so used to the mask Akira never really felt the need to be that confident without it. The feeling of being anonymous, but still some parts of Joker shined through him making him take a step back and realize: Joker was a part of him, and always will be. They aren't separate entities, they're the same person. After all 'I am thou, thou art I'.

So gaining that courage (glad that he maxed out his guts)<./i> as Akira took initiative hoping the other two won't mind at all. "so, before we figure out what's.." Akira motioned to the outside the alleyway "out there I think we should at least know who each other are..? I mean there must be a reason we are here together right?" Akira finished his reasoning.

The white-haired teen had a look of thought in him, seemingly thinking before nodding understanding Akira's reasoning yet the blue-haired teen decided to give him a look of disbelief and said his thoughts, bluntly and nonchalantly.

"or it may have been just a coincidence." The teen said shaking his head to the side, a faint groan was heard under his breath seemingly a headache occurred the days of learning from Takemi are no joke for Akira.

then the white-haired teen decided to quip in with a slightly familiar .. voice .. now that Akira's brain stopped malfunctioning with an overload of thoughts and that he could assess the situation carefully. But Akira digresses and decided to push that thought to a later date. "no, I agree with you there. There is a reason why we must be here, after all, I recognize your clothes."

If this was a game Akira would have a '?!' appear on top of him. The white-haired teen looked to the blue-haired male that was still leaning on him as the white-haired male was still his support. The other seemed to look at the man closest to him and replied "what do you mean?"

Wanting an answer Yu sighed and explained: "I met the student councils of a school on an island for a school trip, it was where I recognize your clothes, are you a student there?"

Minato stared at Yu cautiously but nodded nonetheless, so Yu was correct. But still, this was not a valid reason to not believe and make this seem to be a coincidence. After all, they recognize each other's schools not the correlation between the three of them. They could've picked any student and then call it a day but why them specifically.

Akira then wondered for a bit, he wasn't an ace detective like Akechi so he wasn't that good at solving mysteries. But having talked to the latter for some time a lot, Akira had gotten the gist of it. He needs more evidence to make a complete theory.

The frizzy-haired teen decided to give his testament as well. "I also recognize your school outfit." that was enough to bring the two boys' attention to Akira, they might've forgotten the teen was there in the first place, which made Akira slightly offended but now is not the time.

"Right," Yu responded to Akira, this was .. getting them nowhere. Minato then shoved Yu away while the investigator was thinking of many possibilities and shoved his hands in their respective pockets of the school uniform.

"This is all pointless, finding each other out is getting us nowhere," Minato said as he is pretty very hopeless in finding a reason why they're all here in this dingy alleyway. The blue-haired boy looked at the two with disinterested eyes, "I want to find out what or who brought us here."

Minato seems to be asking the real questions here, who or what brought them all here is a very good answer. Akira rolled his eyes and scoffed letting Joker's confidence shine through his usually quiet demeanor "and how are you going to find out?"

Minato quickly sprung to look at Akira and scowled, he knew the other was right but still. Yu stepped between them "guys- cmon stop fighting aren't we all like a team now?" Yu wasn't sure if they were a team, after all, they are all strangers at first glance.

The blue-haired teen had a look of disgust "now who decided that?", the only team Minato will be greatly a part of is his own SEES team, no one else. Speaking of SEES Minato wondered what happened to them after all they all died. But he isn't going to dwell on that fact in front of other people.

Right now the three wildcards were all just yelling at each other and arguing having nothing to base on theories of them being here for a reason, just the fact they have seen each other schools and that is it. Which by far by any means is not helpful in this case.

Akira while watching Yu and Minato go straight to arguing about teammates reached down and felt his phone before taking it out and checking the date and time, Akira very much sighed in relief as the case or screen wasn't cracked from the fall.

Minato caught a glimpse of Akira's phone and turned to look at the design as he has not seen that at all took a step forward in curiosity leaving Yu speechless at the fact Minato had ignored the fight to look at something, turning to look at Yu too was curious over it.

"Hey uh- mind explaining what you have there?" Yu asked pointing at the phone. Akira looked up and blinked, did these two not know about phones? Akira watched, mind-boggled over the fact they didn't know what he was holding. "it's- it's a phone.."

Minato raised a brow, that was a phone? The blue-haired teen then asked "it is? I thought.." he then pulled out his phone which was an old model Akira had never seen used by teens that often.

Yu then walked over to Akira, Minato in tow as the black-haired teen stepped back slightly before Yu grabbed the phone wanting to have a closer look, as he went to touch it Yu felt his thumb go through the screen like he did when going through a TV which by far was a jump-scare.

Akira was shocked and so was Minato as the shock almost made the phone fall, Yu's hand pulled back as the phone was secured in Akira's hands. "how-" was Yu's first words after the shock was over but Akira beat him to it "how did you do that?!"

Yu then shook his head slowly in confusion, Minato then wondered about something. "are we from different time periods?" Was Minato's theory as he said it out loud, the two who were initially shocked over the fact Yu phased through the phone looked over to Minato like he grew two heads or something.

"You're thinking about that??!? This guy!" Akira yelled out pointing to Yu "JUST PHASED THROUGH AN IPHONE" as he yelled, Minato shifted his position very much unphased over what just happened prior before his conclusion to time periods or whatnot.

Yu then realized something, eyes wide as he made a realization (if he could phase through that .. iPhone .. then..) gasping slightly which got unnoticed by the two as the gasp was very silent. The tv world exists here- wherever they are at the very least.

And that means the fog, these two in front of him, and everyone in this city is in danger. Minato then hummed which got Yu out of his state of tranquility and looked over at the slightly shorter person.

"let's test out my theory, I'm from 2009," Minato said then looked away, possibly waiting for the others' answers. Yu's eyes widened, well that answers the time period theory as Minato thought of, Akira then accidentally let out some words.

"wow .. you're old."

As those words left Akira's mouth, Minato was quick to look at the other scowling at them. Right now Minato had disliked Akira so many times he could not count. The other (Yu) was alright, this person? Was not. The other was getting onto Minato's nerves.

"then what's your time period?" Minato asked with a strained voice trying so hard to calm down and not go on an anger spree most likely. Akira then quickly answered "2016 actually." at that Minato could conclude that his theory is correct, then Minato turned to look at Yu. Wanting also an answer from the other.

Yu ahh'd at Akira's answer "no wonder your phone was high tech, welp I'm from 2011 which is not far off from you." Yu said nodding his head at Akira, "great. Now we are getting somewhere- but I have a question." Minato had started with a fake happy tone before going back to his usual self before turning to look at Yu, who in turn looked back at Minato.

"how .. did you phase through the phone?" raising a brow at Yu who most likely would have a comically huge sweat drop right about now over this factor, Yu would very much know the other two would not believe what he's saying so he answered half-honestly.

"I don't know.." it was a half-truth funny how Yu is a truth-seeker but still, Yu did not want to tell them about personas just yet as it was very confusing and the others would not believe him in the slightest. But Yu did not know he could phase through those screens and thought he could only do it with TVs. Maybe he should try it out when he gets .. back ..

Yu doesn't want to think about his failure just yet, as it may take a huge toll on him but still, it'd be hard to phase through that tiny thing into the tv world or shadow realm so it'd be safe to say it'd be useless .. in a sense, but then again Yu'd probably have a hard time using it in the future as he could very much phase through it.

"Great, cool yeah- so we figured that out. Now can we find a place to stay?" Akira piped up as he pointed to the almost setting sun "pretty sure an alleyway is dangerous." he added in, wanting to get this point across.

Yu then nodded "yup, let's find someplace that is open for us to stay at." Yu had walked ahead of Akira to the busy street that was filled with anomalies he did not know, Akira in tow behind Yu before realizing Minato wasn't following.

Turning to look around Akira raised a brow at the other "hey .. you coming?" that got Yu to stop in his tracks and also look at Minato behind them as the blue-haired teen looked at the ground then at their person before feeling around. Suddenly stopping below his chest before sighing in relief.

Minato then looked up and nodded "yeah." that was the only answer they would receive as Minato walked towards the two wanting to get out of this sketchy alleyway.

As the three left the alleyway, a butterfly clip shined behind them in bright blue in the now empty alleyway the darkness of it before disappearing as if nothing happened.

After leaving the alleyway Yu had took charge and guided them through the streets of Musutafu, slightly trying not to look at the mutants covering the paved street. It was rude to stare in Japan after all.

Minato quickened his pace wanting to not be left behind as he looked at the ground trying his best to avoid eye contact with anyone side-stepping to also avoid contact with strangers.

In all honesty Minato kind of looked very sketchy, now that he thinks about it .. Minato tugged Akira's clothes from the back which made Akira stop, Yu noticed the footsteps, not in his view, and turned around.

"I'm hungry.." Minato said in a low voice turning to look away ears flushed. It was embarrassing to admit it but he was quite hungry and wanted a snack before hitting the bed.

Yu chuckled and gave a small smile "all right then, pit stop to the grocery store! Anyone got any money?" Yu then asked, which Akira fumbled with his shujin jacket until he found a small wallet, opening it he sighed in relief, it wasn't the millions of yen he had before but it was only 10,000 yen. Enough to suffice for a few days.

Akira hummed saying that he had money as Yu turned back around and spotted a nearby grocery store, walking over as the rest of the two trailed behind like brothers following the oldest. Even though that was wrong, Yu was the middle child, and Minato was older.

The double doors slid open as a ding was heard "welcomeee.." the cashier said possibly bored out of their minds right now. I mean being a cashier was kind of a hefty job. But then again the look they were giving the three was a bit weird I mean- 15-year-olds in a grocery shop. They hope the three won't cause trouble like those rowdy kids nowadays.

Yu gave a small wave wanting to be friendly, Akira nodded and walked straight to the fridge aisle and Minato didn't even give a greeting already speed walking to the snack aisle the grocery shop had.

Minato skidded to a stop as he carefully looked at the brands. It was new and old brands he knew and did not know mushed together. Maybe they were all in a different city- as he thought of that Yu called out for Minato "hey! uh.." before trailing off, right .. the other didn't know his name.

Minato then took some chips and chocolate before heading back towards Yu like a child going back to their parent. Not like he wanted that to look like that. After all, he was older by a few days. He then said his name "Arisato. Arisato Minato."

"so that's your name .. Arisato-san my name is Narukami Yu." Minato nodded at that before shifting his weight, waiting for Akira to be done.

Akira who wanted some drinks for all of them opened the fridge door and took them out, getting some iced tea and water before closing the door walking back Yu took the drinks from Akira's hands and put them down on the cashier table. "you didn't have to do that .. er.."

Right .. none of them knew each other's names at all. "Narukami Yu, that's Arisato Minato how 'bout you?" he said as the cashier started to scan their items and do the normal check-out routine.

"Kurusu Akira." Akira introduced himself, finally, the three wildcards had done it and introduced one another, albeit it was late but hey at least now they're a little bit acquainted with each other and not call each other by the colors of their hair.

After checking out, the first thing Minato did was reach in the plastic bag and took out the chocolate he ordered, and opened the pack, not wanting to waste it and let it melt inside the pack as he bit into the crunchy delight.

Now after the food shopping the three wildcards walked around not having a concrete plan set up just yet. Yu wanted to get to a spot before sundown and suggested a place "oh! How about the park? We can sit at the benches and sleep there maybe?" it wasn't a bad suggestion at all.

The two looked at Yu before Akira was the first to nod and agree "I agree, let's go there." Now the two then looked at Minato who was busy looking at his chocolate like it held every world secret there ever was.

. . . It was silent as Minato looked up, blue eyes blinking at the two before silently nodding meaning that he agreed with the idea of sleeping in the park even if it was not an ideal place to sleep in but it was a place nonetheless.

The three then walked through the city trying to find an open park to sleep in, this city felt like a maze to Minato as he was only ever in a small town or was used to one rather than a whole city while the two in front of him was more adept in one.

Seeing Akira walk around like normal and not overwhelmed by the crowd and Yu taking charge with confidence and chest puffed up in pride. Minato felt .. small compared to the two he had only taken a few minutes or hours with seeing as their conversation in the alleyway did take some time.

But what's worse, the personas- the power that gave him meaning were gone. It was like being naked, forgetting something. It was just- Minato was so used to them bickering it felt normal but when that power was suppressed and gone it felt like there was nothing.

It was throwing him off the loop, it was very overwhelming like all of his five senses were heightened it felt- intense. Not like Minato was gonna show this weakness of being lost. Minato kept it down not wanting to make a fool of himself in front of the two in front of him.

He just chose to bite down the chocolate and finish it, crumpling the pack and foil that was with the chocolate into the ball and was waiting to get to the park to throw the trash into a trash can nearby.

The setting of the sun made the city lit up in lights as the city displayed huge lights and signs on the buildings. The streets became less crowded as most citizens left to go clock in the night and sleep. It was way past eight o clock and the three finally stumbled upon an open park.

Happy was an understatement as the three entered the dim park with only the street lights glowing, they walked farther into the park wanting to have a secluded place to sleep in, a place where no one could find them easily.

The chirping of the birds grew louder as the flighting animals inhabited the trees, and the sound of buzzing and insects also grew as mother nature surrounded the trio, surprisingly there were only two benches in the place they decide to stay as Yu smiled at the two. "I'll take the ground."

Akira wanted to protest the idea but Yu didn't back down very much insisting he slept on the ground. Akira then sighed at the argument that will never stop until Yu got that idea drilled into Akira's brain. The frizzy-haired teen sat on the bench and grabbed some water from the grocery bag they had on hand wanting a refreshing drink of cold water.

Minato walked towards the free bench and sat down feet on the wooded seating and he pressed them up on his chest hugging them tightly with his hands. Staring at the sky above like it was some sort of free therapy.

Yu sat down on the ground and he looked at the ground deep in thought, he had a plan set up for tomorrow, he just hopes the rest would agree and follow through with the said plan, Yu sucked in a breath and looked at the two before starting to say his plans.

"I have a plan for tomorrow, once we wake up let's go find a place to stay or if that fails, find jobs." Yu stated, Akira looked at Yu "we don't have id cards, pretty sure we're not registered into the system." Akira said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Yu cussed under his breath, "any ideas Arisato?" Yu turned to look at the blue-haired teen before meeting face back from the other. Minato was laid down on the wooden bench and his back was facing them.

Yu thinks the other was knocked out cold, turning to Akira Yu nods. "alright uh- we can discuss this in the morning, good night!" Yu gave the other a good night before laying down and turning to make his back face the two of them. Akira sighed and laid his head down wanting morning to come and pretend this was all a dream.

Minato wasn't really sleeping, he was pretending to be so he could get utter and sweet silence. The birds chirped and fluttered in the forest as the trees swayed, it was a calming notion and it was the only thing keeping him calm from the utter breakdown he could feel bubbling up his chest.

The people, strangers, powers, mutants- everything was too much for Minato to handle, if you listen closely you can hear the soft sobs Minato released once he was so sure the others fell asleep.

Minato was always the one to stay awake, since the dark hour and all so it wasn't a no-brainer for Minato to be awake at this godly hour. Just crying and trying to have a sense of where he was.

It was better being alone in the park than out there in the street and breaking down in front of people. Minato didn't like the attention, especially in school. It felt .. unnecessary, the blue-haired teen continued to sob as the moon shined down upon the trio like the moon knows.

Minato wanted to get back home, the teen then rolled over so he'd be facing the stars the sat up. Looking around Minato opened his jacket a tad bit and took out a pistol that was in steel and had the words 'SEES' written on it.

A ghostly smile was on his lips as he recalled most of the members, it was like yesterday he was with them having fun now. He's alone, with no one to help him. With strangers, he for some reason feels the need to trust.

It was a sickening feeling, Minato clutched the wooden seat and cried silently in the night, rubbing his eyes to remove the water droplets that came out of his eyes, staring at the two Minato watched their breathing rhythm, following the exact pattern.

He needed to get his bearings together as the night continued to reign Minato looked at the moon, it was weird not seeing it in its usual green state at the dark hour. It was like the moon was his thing or a feeling of nostalgia of being back home.

Minato then shook his head, rubbed the rest of his eyes with his sleeves jacket, and moved to lay down once more. He was staring up at the sky for a few, as he tried to relish its nightly sky for the last time.

Minato then rolled back facing the others and closed his eyes shut trying to sleep.

The sounds of a broken crying boy echoed as the wildcards are now in for a hectic ride.

Chapter Text

As the sun rose from behind the city the first awake was Yu, he was awake for multiple reasons, one was that his mind wandered during the night and couldn't sleep because for one he just left his little cousin Nanako all alone and his whole team was .. gone. Heck maybe Nanako was also gone, what a shitty older brother he was.

Taking this as the time to think more of the three's predicament Yu was wondering about money problems, money was important in every day life and this was no joke. Yu didn't know how to do things here as for one this was very far off what he knew in life I mean persona's exist but like powers that are very far off personas? It kinda freaked him out but not that bad since he's seen far creepier personas and crazy things on his journey.

The birds chirped signaling it was morning, Yu who was just sitting on the ground was now standing up and grabbed some snacks they bought from the grocery store leaving at least a few for the other two. Opening the package of chips he ate some before hearing a groan come from one of the chairs, turning around Yu saw Akira awake from his slumber.

But the next words from Akira made him confused "five more minutes Mona .. we can go .. later .." it was mumbled a bit but he heard some parts, maybe Mona was someone Akira lived with? But as the sun rose more Akira finally stirred awake the sun was practically radiating on the black-haired's face. Akira sat up rubbing his eyes, the slightly younger male adjusted his eyes once again to find himself not in the comfort of Leblanc's attic but on a bench in a middle of a park.

Sighing Akira finally understood the situation once more shifting himself to face Yu who was just snacking on the chips, Akira nodded at Yu as a greeting and the silver-haired nodded back. Standing up Akira stretched for a bit before moving close to the other and squatting down grabbing some chips and as well as some water as the one he had before sleep was finished.

As the two finished their 'breakfast', Yu started a conversation as the silence was quite thickening and awkward. "So Kurusu-san, did you have any idea of getting money and to afford a place to live?" Akira hummed while thinking "well we can go around for some cafe that has overnight stay at least something affordable at least."

Yu nodded at that, "alright we have a game plan now. We now just have to wait for Arisato-san to wake up." the two then turn to look at Minato who was sound asleep on the bench back facing them just like before. Akira then took the time to open his phone and saw it was halfway almost dead but it was enough to keep him occupied for a bit.

Yu who noticed that Akira was on his phone which was by far a few years in the future of his own timeline was quite curious what the new phone could do. "That new phone, is there anything new?" Yu asked. Akira looked up to look at Yu before answering again, Yu was very good at starting conversations about anything to keep this situation less awkward huh?

"well, the camera's better, they don't use those keyboards in flip phones and stuff, the keyboards in the screen, it's uh touch screen no need to use those arrows. As well as more apps and games rather than those old games before." Akira answered.

Yu was about to respond before the both of them heard a rustle on a bench, both turning to look at the noise they noticed Minato groggily waking up from his sleep. Akira decided to say the words that were instantly on his mind. "how's your nap sleeping beauty?" which earned a chuckle from Yu which the grey-haired tried to hide behind his hands.

Minato glared at Akira and held up his middle finger essentially flpping off the other before groggily slurring a small "'uck off.." from the half asleep blue-haired. Minato rubbed his eyes a bit before asking "anyone got coffee..?" Minato would need a cup of coffee right now. This earned a hum from Akira.

"not really, we didn't buy any coffee from the convenient store and I can't make coffee in the middle of the park can I?" Akira said the last park sarcastically and scoffed. Minato groaned at that realization before yawning trying to stay awake "fuck then, I just have to wait for my brain to function again." Minato quipped before standing up from sitting on the bench.

Yu then clapped his hands together "alright since we're all awake let's go and find a more good place to live in, not sure a park bench was good for our backs right?" and at that Minato nodded and off they went Yu leading them both as Akira held onto the little food they had left and Minato standing beside him still half asleep trying to function and follow them both.

As they all walked through the city they were still quite not used to the mutants walking around the street, Akira tries his best to not gawk and certain things like patrolling hero's and villain attacks happening all around the corner. You think with all these hero's around crime rate would be lowered right?

But what Akira did not like was that at certain places no hero bats an eye to some other crimes like assault and kidnapping of civilians. Akira wanted to jump in but what could he do? Yell at them? With no persona, no Arsene .. powerless, Akira felt powerless and he saw the other two as well. But what he noticed the most was how Minato kept reaching down to his chest, specifically behind his jacket. Was the blue-haired hiding something?

Akira wanted to ask but what's the point? They aren't close and if it was Akira he'd just stare at the person who asked like they grew two heads. It was pointless to ask, the trio kept walking trying to ignore villain fights and stuff as he said. They were powerless and are just civilians. But what did happen during that span of time was that they went to some internet cafe's but most were a hefty load and they only had a few left with their low budget besides they couldn't afford a lot for the three of them.

It was already mid-day and the sun was setting and with no luck they just had to go find another park to live in and sleep at. As the three walked back Minato stood silent and Yu as well until Akira let out a whine "why are internet cafe's so expensive around here.." he said wanting to try conversation. Minato didn't indulge but Yu did "well business and all, they do need to make a profit right?"

Akira sighed "guess that's true, I swear if I had my card on my person then we'd be living in an apartment." Minato finally responded "you're that rich?" the black-haired smirked and hummed "of course I am, with my charms and skills as a chef my job has gotten me a good amount of money" Yu turned back to look at the two "what do you work in that's gotten you that rich?"

Akira's smirk then faltered, he can't tell them about personas and mementos farming for money so Akira lied "I work in an expensive restaurant and i'm a waiter slash chef in the restaurant." Akira didn't know if that worked since Yu kept blankly staring at Akira as well did Minato before Yu nodded "I see, well I'm still unemployed, is it that easy to get a job now as a teen in the future?" Yu asked .. like a boomer.

Minato also was curious "I mean job employment was easy during my times but it was just food junctions that were unemployed, don't know how you scored a good paying expensive job." Akira slightly cussed in his head "well like they always say! The future is better!" Minato just looked at Akira weirdly like that was a bad excuse "i'm pretty sure that's not how the saying goes."

"will you shut it emo ass old ma-" Akira was about to insult the other before Yu intervened "i think this would be nice to end this conversation yeah? Let's just change the topic." Yu lightly chuckled but Minato just glared at Akira and continued "well maybe if you get your facts right then maybe I'll tolerate you."

"why do I need to have your validation?" Akira continued, Minato then bit back at Akira yelling out insults which were most likely cussing while Yu backed a bit just watching this unfold trying not to stop it as if he did he'd unintentionally join in the fight. As they kept walking back Akira and Minato still on their fight, the three walked under a bridge the three didn't realize how dangerous this place was.

Minato and Akira's fight stopped after they heard a small chuckle and then full on laughter coming from in front of them. The three stopped and looked and Akira knew that sterotypical get up and laughter. It was a villain, of course the three of them ran into a villain out of sheer luck. Luck as in bad luck.

"three perfect prey for my plan to destroy All Might" the villain smirked as the villain walked closer to them the three noticed his looks. It was like a shadow but more like the shadow looked disgusting, gross, revolting, it was like a mutant monster made from goo. Akira noticed Minato once again reach out for his jacket opening it slightly.

Before Minato could pull it out the villain's goo like hands reached out for Yu who was in front of the other two and grabbed the teen tightly. Yu yelped as he tripped from the source and fell. The villain pulled Yu closer as Akira leapt in to help grabbing onto the others outstretched hand but that served to be a terrible mistake as the villain also grabbed Akira by the other arm and pulled them both back sending them to be trapped in the villain's hands.

Minato stepped back, scared he'd get taken too. Two of his .. friends..? No acquaintances were trapped and everything in his bones and mind was yelling 'pull it.' 'pull the trigger.' but one voice was louder than them all.

"call me, Messiah."

Minato paused all movement, the only thing he could hear was his own breathing, and heartbeat, as well as the laugh of the villain saying 'he was next' repeatedly. It was like on that rooftop again, the day he found SEES, the day he was whole. The feeling came back as his hands instantly took the gun out. The villain noticed the gun as well as Akira who barely had enough space to see the silver metal shining through the alleyway.

"your little gun won't work on me kid, I'm made of goo it'll phase right through!" the villain yelled knowing he'd win, but what the villain didn't realize was that Minato wasn't aiming his gun at the villain, but to himself.

Akira with widened eyes muffled out a "ARISATO-SAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING" but it was barely inaudible. The blue-haired just raised it up, aimed it at his temple and said calmly ... "persona." at that he pulled the trigger but no bullet rang out, but instead blue shattered glass came out the other side and then. Thanatos appeared.

Thanatos called out to Minato, it was like clockwork again. It was like it was meant to be, Thanatos smirked waiting for a command and so Minato commanded. "Megidolaon.. and don't hit the other two." Minato murmured wanting the other two to be safe why? He didn't know but it was some sort of feeling.

"of course I won't Messiah." Thanatos replied back as the persona aimed and a big explosion happened shaking the whole neighborhood, and a certain ash blond who was getting ready to go to bed. It was like an earthquake but add the big 'BOOM' in the background, pedestrians ran out to see a big purple explosion in the distance some already calling the police who in turn will call out hero's.

As the explosion happened Thanatos disappeared and the two were set free, Akira quite shocked at what happened and Yu who ran towards a collapsing Minato. Akira was the first to register what Minato summoned while Yu was checking if the blue-haired was alright. The youngest of the three heard cop alarms and grabbed Yu by the arm as well as Minato's other arm "we have to go."

No words were explained why they had to leave but Yu took one glance at Akira and saw the younger in fear. Understanding the situation Yu grabbed Minato by the other arm and hoisted the older up as Akira's let go of Minato and ran out the tunnel into the streets and in turn to a subway. 'it was safe, we can go to another district' Akira said and Yu just followed.

Yu was curious why Akira had been scared of the police, did something happen? But it's hard to dwell on this matter. The two did get stares at because they were one caring an unconscious Minato into the subway after paying for tickets. Akira just responded to the attendants in the subway that Minato fell asleep on the way here.

With that the two sat in the subway as they arrived at a district near a big school building that says 'UA' and Akira just randomly stumbled in a cafe which was still open, and surprise. The owner looked at the kids with wide eyes, they were all three badly bruised and before Akira could apologize the owner said "stay, you guys need to have shelter."

Yu sighed in relief at those words as Akira did the same, the white haired male walked over and took Minato from Yu's hands. "i have an extra room you three can use, I'll also make some food and patch you guys up?" the adult asked.

Yu shook his head wanting to be civil "it's fine sir we can handle ourselves, after he wakes up we'll leave." but the other wasn't having it "no you guys stay for as long as you need. I don't mind." Akira then slumped on one of the chairs in the cafe after quite literally running away from the cops. Again.

The owner then took Minato upstairs to set him down on the beds, while waiting Yu turned to look at Akira "he said persona right?" the younger flinched forgetting that Yu was even there, turning to look at the taller Akira nodded "yeah and he summoned it by .. pulling a trigger on a gun?"

The two stared at each other before hearing more creaking coming down, turning to look at the owner who came back he sighed "well I got your.." waiting for an answer Akira said what came into mind "brother." Yu in turn looked at Akira in disbelief but followed it up "yeah our older brother."

"..okay older brother in bed, are you guys okay in terms of you know. Medical or food?" the white haired ask. Akira shook his head "no we're gonna head to bed as well."

"oh! Well your room will be on the right of the dining hall, mine's on the left." Akira nodded to that as he signaled Yu to follow him. Yu bowed down to the other as a 'thank you' and walk up leaving the white haired male alone downstairs.

What a weird day Sin was having.

Chapter Text

All might was on the scene in his buff form walking down the hall to the goo villain tied up in his quirk restraints. All might was quite shocked at the report of a huge earthquake in a neighboring area a well with an explosion destroying mostly all of what remained of the tunnel. The hero then paused looking at the villain then back at Detective Tsukauchi.

"any intel my friend?" All might asked the detective which in turn the detective nodded. "the villain can't recall much but he said he heard the word 'persona?' before it all went blank and the place exploded." All might nodded and turned to look at the bruised villain which was barely hanging onto life as of this moment.

"this threat we may be dealing with might end the whole world All Might." a third voice came in as the both of them turn to look at Aizawa entering the hall. "it did a huge number on the guy and can explode almost anything. We need to know if this is a threat or on our side."

Tsuakuchi agreed with Aizawa "then we must find them, we are going with out theory how 'persona' is an ultimate move, find any hero's or anyone who said 'persona' in their lifetime in fight."

Aizawa nodded "alright, I'll work on it with underground hero's." The three now with a plan decided to go their separate ways to try and find the culprit. But what the three didn't know the culprit will be under their noses next year, specifically in a class full of upcoming hero's.

As Minato slept after his awakening the teen woke up to a clock chime and the familiar sounds of the velvet room playing. Sitting up from the couch Minato looked around, it was the velvet room he knew but different, there were three sides. His usual velvet room side was on the far left while in the middle was something akin to a limousines interior while the one of the far right was a prison.

Minato then looked to the middle where the usual long-nosed bald headed man sat, fingers tapping on the wooden desk as Elizabeth came in view standing beside Igor. Minato just stared, usually Igor had something to say but it was awfully quiet. But what Minato also wondered was why he came back? Was this some clue that the thing with the other two was just some dream and he was ready to come back? But that was very far away from that possibility.

Igor hummed before smiling his usual smile. "It seems like you were the first to awaken from the three of you, I congratulate you." So the other two weren't a dream .. but what did Igor mean first to awaken?

Minato crossed his arms and leaned back on the backboard of the couch, "what do you mean?" he said, Elizabeth decided to answer this one. "we can't tell you yet dear! It'll ruin the cool, awesome, jaw dropping reason!! And surprise!"

At that Minato just blankly stared at Elizabeth with his usual deadpan, it was a normal occurrence of Elizabeth using some weird wordings to get her point across. Elizabeth then continued "now you can't come back to the velvet room so you must use the personas you have on you! So no changing personas! But here's a hint my dear!"

A hint? Maybe a hint of why he's here? Minato leaned closer eager to know why he was with two complete strangers with one of them being the bane of his existence. "learn." and at those words Minato felt himself leave the velvet room the blue-haired trying to cling onto what's left of the velvet room wanting to know what did she mean? Why is he even here? But he guesses that hint could help.

And so, Minato drifted awake after three days. He woke up, quite nostalgic huh?

Minato then woke up feeling quite awake and refreshed, it has been long since he slept quite easily with the dark hour and all. Sitting up Minato heard the usual chatter of his personas speaking Norn being the first to notice the familiar feeling "isn't this the same as before Messiah? Waking up after your awakening just like before?"

At those words Minato chuckled before responding out loud thinking no one was in here. "yeah, then Yukari traumadumped about her life to me." which earned some giggles from his more childish understanding personas as well as Thanatos.

"wow so you do talk to them too." someone spoke up which in turn made Minato jump turning to look at the voice it was Yu sitting there, arms crossed clearly understanding the scene that happened before.

Minato clutched his chest before responding "give me a heart attack why don't you." Minato scoffed before turning his whole body to look at Yu "where even are we?" he asks feeling quite disturbed with the change of setting. Yu hummed "in a cafe's second floor, in a shared room with us." At that Minato noticed two other beds with one neatly made and the other messy.

"you've been out cold for three days." at that knowledge Minato winced, at least it wasn't as long as last time. "three days.. sounds troublesome missing those days" Orpheus commented which made Minato silently agree, especially being here with strangers in an unknown world where mutants roam free. "I see.." Minato replied and then silence. It was very awkward between the two.

Yu then coughed before continuing "while you were asleep some things happened." Minato nodded at that, of course something new happened it's not like nothing would happen during 3 days. "alright, tell me everything" Minato was quite curious about what 'things' happened. Nodding Yu then jumped into explanation.

"while you were out cold we slept in the beds before waking up in the morning to the news displaying your Megidolaon."

Yu was this time not the first awake, sitting up he looked to his side to still see Minato fast asleep and the other bed beside him empty, seems like Akira woke up first. Standing up from his bed Yu walked outside and down the hall to see Akira cooking up some food and the owner of the cafe sitting on the table. The owner was the first to notice Yu awake.

"oh, good morning. Your brother's making breakfast." the owner said, Yu then had to take a double take. Brother why woul- oh. Before they went to bed Yu quite of blurted out that they were brothers which in turn made the owner think they were all brothers twins maybe as they were the same age.

"right." Yu then sat down across from the owner while Akira kept cooking, the TV blasting with hero news while the other was cooking the news then shifted to some .. familiar news.

"now onto breaking news, there has been an explosion and a giant earthquake near shizuoka prefecture and footage shows the explosion obliterated most of the tunnel but good news, no one was hurt. Hero's are wondering what quirk made this happen? Now on-"

At that Yu quickly turned to look at the news and winced at the huge damage Minato caused in his awakening, and as well Akira dropped some pans on the ground at that shock of news. Which in turn made Yu and the owner look at Akira who was handling the kitchen. Akira paused before saying a small 'sorry' before picking the pan up and going back to cooking.

"I had some friends there, glad no one got hurt. What quirk would even do that?" the owner questioned, Yu turned to look at the owner. Quirk? What? Yu didn't know but didn't want to pry any further. Yu then paused before realizing, he never really did thank the owner for their hospitality huh? The white-haired teen quickly did a small bow once the owner went back to look at him. "thank you for letting us in."

The owner blinked before smiling "no problem really, I couldn't just let you guys and your bruised up brother alone besides it was very late out." Yu then nodded "once he wakes up we'll be going out and leaving you alone." which in turn made the white-haired adult's eyes widened "oh that won't be necessary. You can stay here for as much time needed, where even are your parents?"

At the parents questioned Yu winced, they technically do not have parents here .. "uh well-" at that Akira cut in after placing the plate of curry in front of the two "dead."

Yu turned to look at Akira eyes wide, well that was one excuse. The owner then shifted uncomfortably "oh- uh sorry for bringing that up." Yu then turned to look at him "oh don't be, you didn't know." Yu said as he grabbed the spoon and started eating the curry Akira made for them both. At the taste of the curry Yu paused before looking at Akira with the eyes of 'is this even real?'

Akra just smirked before placing a plate next to him and sat down eating the curry as well. Very much knowing Yu was having his mind blown by the taste of the curry.

"so now, we have no place to stay and are just wandering around since our parents had trouble with loan sharks and we had to sell our house just to pay them back." Akira then continued the lie as he ate, it came simply to Akira as he was used to lying about his current predicament and stress to his teammates and Mona and Sojiro himself.

Yu himself was shocked at how easy Akira lied, thankfully the owner believed it all "well if you want, you can live here for as long as you need? I don't mind you guys sharing the room together and stuff." at those words Akira looked up "we couldn't possibly do that.."

"No, i insist." the owner said Akira then thought for a bit before shrugging "alright, but in turn I help you out. Saw you got a cafe downstairs and all, I used to work in some high end restaurant so I can help." The owner shook his head "it's no need, just stay you don't have to do all this." which in turn made Akira glare "no. I work here as a thank you." the owner then sighed "alright fine. Anyways my name is Sin Yukimiya, nice to meet you .. uh"

"Akira Hirano, the one next to me is Yu Hirano." once again, the lie came in smoothly as Akira introduced them and to Yu about their new last names. Yu then finally came in conversation. "thank you once again Yukimiya-san." which in turn made Yukimiya nod.

Minato then blinked processing the information. "Hirano as our last name? And you told him .. we were .. brothers.." Minato stared at Yu in disbelief as Yu nodded "yup."

"Hirano has quite a nice ring to it Messiah, Minato Hirano.." Norn spoke before Titania quipped in "no it sounds ugly." Minato quite agreed with Titania but didn't tell it to Yu as it was Akira's idea for the last name.

Minato then stared at the room once again, he was going to live here. For some time, well it'd be annoying with Akira being in the room but Yu was in the middle keeping the two away from fighting like rabid animals.

"oh! And we found out more about this world and everything you need to know." Yu explained, Minato hummed "alright, tell me." At those words Yu jumped into explanation

Akira sat on the bed his phone being recharged as of right now, apparently Yukimiya had some chargers for their model of phone lying down but didn't find a charger that would fit Yu and Minato's phone as it was 'old phones' but Yu said he'd buy a charger with the spare yen he had or from their daily allowance from Yukimiya.

Yeah .. they got daily allowances as Yukimiya felt the need to give them money to survive for a week. Akira stared at the wall before sighing being impatient and grabbing his phone and pulling it from the charger laying down on the bed and opening the phone up, it was 70% enough for a few hours or so of poking around.

Yu was in the shower and Akira wanted to have a head start of whatever is going on in the place, from the morning Akira remembered Sin say something about how powerful a quirk can be to do that much impact in the prefecture.

The frizzy haired opened up google and searched up 'quirks' which then opened a bunch of articles and a dictionary word, Akira then looked and read it before blinking .. what..?

He read it out loud, "quirks are powers that are born from a person once they reach the age of four, each quirk can be powerful or weak depending on the genetics of their parents.."

"powers?" another voice started speaking as Akira flinched turning off his phone and looking at the door which Yu came in from his shower Akira breathed a sigh of relief before scoffing "knock when you come in will you?" which made Yu chuckle "sorry didn't mean to scare you."

Yu moved to sit on his bed facing Akira, Yu's hair still wet from the shower with a towel draped on his shoulder to catch the wet droplets that fell from his hair. "so, what's this about powers?"

Akira hummed turning on his phone again "these are what quirks are or what Yukimiya-san meant. It's those mutant powers we saw before." Yu thought for a bit before responding "so it's just those mutants who have the power or..?"

Akira shrugged before scrolling down and clicking on an article explaining more about quirks. "oh not just mutants, there are other quirks that don't change appearance like fire, strength, and something about .. All might.."

"All might? Some type of quirk or?" Yu wondered and Akira answered "no, it's a hero name. Some type of world peace hero."

"world peace hero?" Yu questioned as Akira nodded "anyways that's quirks I guess." Yu thought for a bit before asking "Kurusu-san, could you search up more about hero society? And some cases of villains?"

It was like Yu wanted to know more about the worlds black and white view and stuff about government systems and stuff. Akira and Yu then went on a search spree searching more about government systems and how the hero system works, apparently if anyone wants to be a hero they undergo a hero training program in hero schools and get licenses to use their quirk legally.

But one thing caught Akira's eye the most, how being quirkless means you get less priority. It reminded him about what the phantom thieves fought for, it was like teens feeling weak against the messed up adults in life. It made his blood boil but he didn't want to lose composure in front of Yu.

But then the two of them searched up 'recent villain cases' and the first thousands of articles were about the prefecture incident, Yu winced "guess Arisato-san left a huge impact right?" to which Akira nodded clicking on one of the articles about the prefecture.

The article started out simply explaining what happened but the cause of it was all theoretical the article talked about exaggerating things and creating non stop theories about such event which made Yu and Akira laugh at the theory of aliens falling down which would honestly be the less weirdest thing that could ever happen in this world.

After that the two of them have caught up about what this world is about Yu sighed looking at Akira but paused for a second watching as Akira's thumb hovered over an app on his home screen like he was waiting for something.

After a few seconds which felt like years for the both of them Yu coughed wanting this awkwardness to end, the other jumped and quickly shut down the phone screen turning black. Akira stared at Yu before the older of them replied "it's getting late."

Akira looked at the clock realizing it was already almost midnight guess they've been reading news articles for a long time. "right well goodnight." Akira said as Yu nodded going underneath the blankets provided for them by Yukimiya.

"goodnight." Yu said before Akira went to turn off the bed lights turning around Akira saw how Yu was facing the opposite way, to Minato. Akira climbed into bed and grabbed his phone no doubt Yu hearing it.

That night Yu heard some sighs, groans, and maybe .. some sobs. Yu was very much trying to keep himself composed in front of the two or else he might fall ill to breaking down and just not becoming the leader he was.

He too also has some breaking points.

Yu then finished his tale leaving some things out like Akira crying and his own thoughts. Minato looked down onto the ground trying to make sense of the new found information Yu had given him.

"that explains most anomalies we found when walking around before." Minato said crossing his arms "but thanks for the brief explanation." Minato said once again. Now all three of them had an understanding of the world they were dragged into now that confirms some theory they had.

As well as the theory of why they were brought here. And why them? Even in different timelines with the way Yu said Minato was also a persona user he can deduct that all three of them are persona users.

"You must be hungry right Arisato-san? I think Kurusu-san is making breakfast right now." Yu mentioned to Minato, who in turn nodded. "I could go for food right now." Minato slipped out of bed and stood up, stretching to pop some muscles which were stiff from sleeping for approximately three days.

Yu stood up in turn and started walking out the door followed by Minato behind him. The blue-haired teen looked at the hall, noting the slightly baren walls and picture frames. Upon closer look the picture frames didn't even frame anything but the basic stock pictures that were put in them. "Talk about loneliness." Orpheus grumbled out.

It was nice hearing the personas talk again, for those few days being transported here it was all just too quiet. No one was responding and speaking to him, it truly made Minato more alone. Even with the human company of Narukami and Kurusu.

As the two reached the bottom of the staircase a voice rung out "looks like sleeping beauty is awake!!". Minato felt his mood slightly dampen at the familiar voice, looking straight at him was Akira a big grin plastered on his face as he served two delicious smelling dishes on the table.

"I think I'd like to go back to the coma after seeing you." Minato clapped back, pulling up a chair and sitting in front of the curry Akira placed down. "cold.. is that how you greet your brother?" Akira pouted, placing a hand over his chest where his heart should be in mock sadness.

"quit it, both of you." Yu chimed in sitting across from Minato and grabbed the plate Akira was giving go him with a quiet 'thank you' muttered. Akira sat beside Yu and began to dig in to the food he had carefully created.

There was really no need for all this brother nonsense as they didn't need to keep it up since Yukimiya wasn't here but Akira truly insisted they do so they wouldn't be caught 'slacking'.

Minato dug into the food, slightly annoyed at how good it tasted. As he looked at Akira he noticed the smirk coming from him. Ah, he knew whether someone liked his cooking or not. Minato watched as the smirk became more serious as Akira leaned closer to Minato. Minato leaned back not liking the closeness as much

"hey Minato." Akira said dropping the formalities, "how did you awaken your personas again?" the question caught Minato off guard. "seriously dropping the formalities just to ask how to awaken his persona? Talk about crude." Titania muttered. "i don't know." Minato said honestly shoving a spoonful of curry in his mouth.

Akira sighed now knowing he wouldn't get any answers from the other and continued to eat, prodding at his food, he seemed like he was in deep thought. Yu, who had been passive the entire time decides to pitch in his two yen for the conversation.

"speaking of awakening, I feel like we need to reawaken ourselves. I mean, I did some digging myself and people online keep talking about how this superhero school 'UA' have some good technology to help anyone. Maybe we can use that school as a stepping stone to getting home?"

Minato stared at the white-haired teen, he was going to call him stupid but Akira beated him and stood up abruptly slamming his hands on the table "I AGREE!" he yelled out before turning to look at Minato again who was silently wishing he was the one that got thrown off tartarus like his other friends.

Akira declared pointing a finger at Minato "TEACH US! GUN MAN!". Yu who jolted at the sudden declaration chipped in "if you'd like, not forcing you, we can figure it out ourselves I mean we're not that desperate or anything."

'Talk about annoying.' Minato thought listening to some personas laugh at the antics of the youngest of the three. But this 'UA' does sound promising and they apparently needed 'quirks' to become heroes.
