Summary
After the events of Royal, Goro and Futaba learn about their shared lineage. Akira insists for them to visit him in Inaba, see the countryside, and make up for lost time. Once Goro and Futaba end up lost in a forest full of yokai, they have to rely on one another in order to survive - and they may even come to an understanding of their half-sibling along the way.

“Holy shit…”
The sound of Akira’s voice and his sudden tension made Goro pull away in alarm and look up at him. Akira was staring out into the cafe, toward the tv, his eyes wide and the color of his face noticeably pale. Goro spun in alarm to follow his gaze.
Only to see a familiar mugshot staring back at him from the television screen.
The numbness that had been threatening Goro since the subway suddenly engulfed him. He was on his feet, barstool hitting the floor behind him. He just… stared at the screen in disbelief. The words the news anchor was sharing didn’t make sense to his ears, the kanji on screen seemed foreign and broken. But somehow the information still filtered through the static of his mind.
Former Prime Minister candidate Masayoshi Shido, age 55, has been found dead in his prison cell of an apparent suicide.

"Yeah, whaddya want?" Ryuji scowled.
"I happened to be passing by, so I thought I'd say hi. We'll be filming together tomorrow, after all." The boy smiled bashfully as he started swirling a strand of his hair between his eyes. "My name is Akira Kurusu, pleasure to meet you. "
Having been given the chance, Akira travels back in time to avoid one of his biggest regrets (but little did he know, that for that to happen, some changes must be made first).
