The night of Anne’s birthday, Marcy and Sasha stayed at her house. For one, to spend more time together and the second reason was, well, they had maybe drank more than they expected and Anne's place was the closest for a taxi.
It was around 2 am when the conversation dwindled a bit, a random movie was on tv and even though they weren’t that invested in it, it was better than silence. Anne was sat up on the sofa with her legs sprawled out in-front of her, Marcy cross-legged on the floor and Sasha on the end of the sofa.
Marcy turned her head to look at Anne, this still didn’t feel real that she was seeing her again, she looked almost sad for a moment until, ding, lightbulb moment. She gained a grin on her face just thinking about it.
She made her way to the sofa and squeezed herself between the edge of the sofa and Anne, placing her legs atop Anne’s.
“Hey Mar-Mar, whacha doing” Anne said, a little confused.
Marcy, embarrassed, brought her legs back down to the floor.
“Oh,,I,,I just..We’ve been so far apart for the longest time, I-” She sniffs “Just wanted to make up for that.”
Anne notices the sort of sad look on Marcy’s face, pulls up her legs back into hers, brings her in close. Marcy gets this fuzzy happy feeling. Leaning against someone she has missed dearly, she lets out a small tear of happiness.
Sasha clearly notices.. Whatever’s going on on the other end of the sofa…and interrupts.
“Hey;; Don’t leave me out of this”
She slides across the sofa, squishing Anne and Marcy even more, adding her own legs to the pile. Anne grunts, her legs at the bottom taking all the weight.
“Oh come on Boonchuy, use those legs muscles of yours!” Sash says teasingly.
“I- Your huge leg muscles are the reason I-… You know what.. never mind.”
She smiles, and pulls Sash in closer with her other hand.
“I’ve missed you guys so much”
“Me too” Sash and Marcy say in unison.
