Chapter Text
In the very beginning there was absolutely nothing. Then the Creator, also known as God made the aspects of Creation, Destruction, Life, Death, Light, Darkness, War, Peace, Love, Hate, Chaos, Order, Nature, Fate, Will, Destiny and Time, then set them loose upon the blank canvas that would become the cosmos; later the aspects of Power and Karma came into being. Together they weaved a clashing tapestry across everything.

Mekhane and Yaldabaoth had created humanity only to exist, and nothing else. But as time went on, the two gods clashed over human evolution; while Mekhane wanted progression, Yaldabaoth desired instincts.
Mekhane tearfully imprisoned her lover using herself as a cage, breaking into many pieces to keep him trapped. When both were freed during the war between followers and defeated each other at the cost of their immortal lives, they went back to the higher plane of existence.
Given the chance to reflect on their past decisions, they initially fumed, bickered and squabbled. As time went on, however, the two realized they hadn’t been so different after all: they’d desired only what they believed to be the best for humanity, and ultimately all of existence.
Eventually, the rivals reconciled their differences and professed their love for one another, engaging in a passionate kiss.
Chapter Text
When the two-dimensional shape who would become known as Bill Cipher made a deal with the Axolotl to gain immense power, he had unknowingly struck a deal with the beings who would later be identified and catalogued by people like Howard Philips Lovecraft.
It turned out the Axolotl was a more pacifistic member of these deities and other creatures that preferred only watching over the infinite universes. When the power of the Elder Gods and their kin that coursed through Bill demolished his home reality, the Axolotl denied responsibility, claiming it was Bill’s choices alone that led to such an outcome.
Chapter Text
Those deemed the greatest minds of Amphibia were subjected to an unnatural process allowing them to escape death at the cost of their emotions. As the transfer initiated everything that made an individual unique was gradually stripped away, converted into unfeeling lines of code.
None of the newly-created Core’s attempted hosts survived more than a few days at best; the bodies of even the hardiest natives were unable to handle the high demands of its programming.
This changed when the prophecy first came to light and three otherworlders arrived millions of years later; the one who embodied Wit proved more than adequate as a vessel, especially since she’d beaten the land’s reigning monarch at an old game.
Surprising resistance from the natives of the newest world under siege, specifically the ones embodying Heart and Strength as well as the aging monarch’s sentiment forced them to retreat.
Taking control of Amphibia’s moon they sought to eradicate everything they’d ever known as a last resort. When the latest of the three stars from beyond made the choice to confront them the Core ultimately lost a game they had played and won for centuries.
Chapter Text
For years magic was used to keep the Mewmans one step ahead of the monsters. For years no one challenged the monarchy and constantly accepted it as their way of life.
When the truth about the Butterfly royal family’s lineage came out the latest heir to the throne refused to stand for it, abdicating to the queen whose biological daughter had been replaced by the magic’s overseers.
Despite the efforts of her and any who were willing nothing seemed capable of stopping the hatred for monsters, at least until she took the fight to the real source of problems: the magic itself.
As the magic fell apart the different worlds of two star-crossed lovers collided in a beautifully chaotic union.

The wild fundamentals of the omniverse had many names: Faith. Knowledge. Nature. Power. But no matter how anyone or anything used it, the forces of the cosmos were never truly good nor evil. They could be used for everything, anything and nothing; the potential was truly limitless. These same forces balanced out destiny and free will, making sure neither were fully in control. Every time fate was changed by the decisions of those who were to experience it, this branched off into infinite possibilities in time and space.
Chapter Text
The Omnitrix had been created as a means of achieving peace but like Ascalon before everyone only saw it as a weapon. Even the most noble beings were corrupted by the promise of power and there seemed to be no end in sight to the depths, the depravities of the monsters its presence created.
This changed upon getting sent to a largely unknown planet where it bonded to a youngling whose spirit shone brighter than the stars and even managed to sway the device’s disillusioned creator.
The Omnitrix itself became fond of the boy, keeping him under especially close protection in times of danger as well as when he grew and matured. Even during the rare moments they were separated it always left a part of itself behind to guide him.
Chapter Text
The AllSpark was meant to give life despite being an energy source; it cherished each of its children equally without hesitation. However, it came to realize they had started fighting amongst themselves not for the betterment of their species as a whole, but to control the power of what created them.
In a moment of panic, it reached out to those whose minds and spirits had not been consumed by the conflict and urged them to send it far away, somewhere it would hopefully never be recovered. After the deed was done, the AllSpark rested peacefully in a deep slumber until some of its wayward children unexpectedly found it.
Encountering a new world with unfamiliar life, it was only fascinated even more upon discovering one of its children had taken on the form of these strange creatures. During a heated confrontation between two of her offspring, it was dispersed across the foreign planet and gave life to new children.
Once the AllSpark’s fragmented self was made as whole as possible, it gained a new perspective on the lives its progeny lived.
Chapter Text
Even though it could not be perceived, the Red String of Fate forever bound those who were meant to be together. No force was strong enough to sever it, barring the death of one or both participants. Nothing could cut the string while even one of the connected were still alive, as many found out the hard way despite their efforts.
