A writing piece made for Festival of Stars: A Persona Charity Fanzine—thanks for helping the project raise $525 for Make-A-Wish!
Four months after Ren’s departure from Shibuya, Ryuji is now in a loving relationship with Yusuke, and are moving out together with Ryuji's mother. Inspired by his new hobby for live streaming video games (in his spare time as an amateur), and Yusuke’s solemn train ride conversation with a grieving father, Ryuji gives his boyfriend a warming surprise: with the help of their fellow former Phantom Thieves, they organize a charity stream to raise funds for an acclaimed non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening conditions. With a goal to pay some good will forward, this is a charity stream that might just surpass the "crazy" ¥100,000,000 goal.
Ryuji didn't think he'd get so far, but every bit counts to fulfill the innocent dreams of others—and to put him in that sexy Halloween costume he hates.
(This work is split into two "chapters." The first is the actual work, published in the fanzine. The second is an annotated version of the piece's rough outline, some details having been cut in drafting to adhere to word counts and general pacing.)
