Boyfriend

Summary:

Sorry ladies, but Midoriya Izuku is indeed spoken for. Background ships too.

Work Text:

"I am never going to get a boyfriend at this rate!"

Asami sighed as she listen to her best friend complain about her love life. Again. For what it seems like eternal.

"There, there," Asami started, voice monotone and apathetic. "I'm sure there's a guy waiting out there just for you."

"I don't WANT just a guy! I WANT a hero!" Asami's best friend, Yuki, screeched. Wincing, the ponytail wearing girl turned to her friend. Ever since she could remember, Yuki has been going on and on about how the perfect boyfriend, in her eyes, was a hero, so long as they were handsome enough. Asami had assumed this phase would've been gone about time they hit high school, but apparently not.

"What happen with Red Riot?" She asked. Yuki scoffed.

"Turns out he's a....er, homosexual." Yuki said, folding her arms. Asami blinked.

"He is?"

"Yeah. Apparently, he's dating Chargebolt." Yuki shook her head. "And Ingenium is dating Uravity and it's rumored that the number three hero is dating that wretch, Creati." She sighed again, slouching in her seat. "Why are the good ones taken?"

Asami blinked again. "What about the number two hero?"

"Who? Dynamight?" Yuki snorted. "Please. He may look hot, but his temper is so ill-fitted. How can anyone stand to be around him?"

"And Deku?"

"He looks like a child. No thanks." Once more, and this time even more obnoxious, Yuki sighed and got up from her chair. "Forget it. About time my one and only boyfriend appears is when I'm old and grey."

With that, Yuki began walking away. Asami watched her go before realizing....

This bitch really left me to fit the bill for HER stupid ass bubble tea.

Meanwhile, Yuki continued down the street with her head down, sad thoughts clouding her mind. Please, just send anyone.....Anyone....I'm not picky. She thought.

"Hey lookout!"

Startled by the shout, Yuki looked up at a frantic guy calling to her, pointing up. Turning her head, Yuki's eyes went wide when a rather large piece of debris seem to come falling towards her. Frozen, all Yuki could do is open her mouth to let out a scream-

Before finding herself being carried by two strong arms and leaping away just as the debris came crashing down the sidewalk. Blinking, she turned her head and-

Green. All she saw was green.

"Are you alright?" The guy - the hero she's been waiting on - asked. Yuki quietly nodded her head, too stun to talk. Now that they were safe, the hero - Deku, she realizes - gently put her down. "That was a close one. You could've been squashed if I hadn't been there in time." He laughed nervously, and oh, did that laugh sound lovely. Yuki felt her heart swell. Maybe I judged too harshly?

"Oi, Deku. If you're done playing hero, we got a movie to catch." A voice interrupted her thoughts. Looking to the side, she saw the number two hero, Dynamight, standing there, in street clothes. Despite this, the ashy blond still looked grumpy as ever. Yuki huffed. Rude. Wait, did he say movie?

"Ahh, sorry Kacchan." Deku laughed again, this time, with a slight blush on his face. Yuki's eyes went wide, this time, in horror. Oh no... That's when Deku ran to Dynamight's side, hands barely brushing against each other as they turned away from the civilian Deku just rescued. Yuki caught a glimpse of red eyes that narrowed in, what she assumes to be a warning, before Dynamight - Kacchan, she thought miserably - grabbed hold onto Deku's hand, surprising the hero, but all seemed too happy to complain about it.

Yuki stared in misery.

Still waiting on a hero, I suppose.
