Bad Romance

Summary:

Gawr Gura, an ordinary girl in her second year at college. When she first entered it, she always thought that just like in high school, she would not be able to find love. Her friend named Takanashi Kiara forced her to go to a concert of a popular rock band by a college famous singer Calliope Mori. When she said yes, she would not have thought she would realise that going there was not her dumbest mistake ever. She met a blond girl named Amelia Watson, not realizing she was talking to the band's guitarist. When Gura saw her onstage, her breath caught and her heart raced so fast that not even a stopwatch could keep up. Her whole life seemed to flash before her eyes when she saw those blue eyes staring at her...

There was no turning back. Gura realized that she had fallen in love. And she fell madly in love.

Chapter Text

***

As usual, Gura was always sitting at her desk, getting ready for class before it even started. She was a diligent student, and she prepared for class not only at home, but also at school. Of course it was hard to distract her from that, because her first priority was her studies, and then the opinions of others.

But what was also about the girl was her attractiveness. She wasn't that popular around the school, but those students sometimes looked at her with their lustful eyes. She was petite, had a great waist, thin legs, and a lovely little face that was adorned with two lovely blue eyes.

She paid no attention to the way the boys drooled all over her, portraying her in every way in their dirty heads. Gura didn't care at all about their opinions, even if they were directed at her in a bad and offensive way. It was their problem that they thought the girl was like that, as well as their tastes about people with whom they were not so familiar.

She wondered. Was it worth rejecting everyone, not even giving them a chance to start a relationship. She had been in love with someone since elementary school, but she never admitted it, and after a few weeks, that love simply dissolved. This was the case even throughout high school, where her concept of love changed, and the attraction or sympathy for someone, has disappeared. Now she's in college, and love still won't make itself known, even knowing what it has already denied and broken many hearts.

One day she was approached by a friend named Takanashi Kiara. An orange-haired girl, with a superb appearance and figure that even the most beautiful models on this earth could envy. The girl herself was energetic and fun, the attraction of adventure only made her feel great. Kiara had been her friend since junior high school, they had become friends and even went to the same college together, and had been for several years. They had become so friendly that they understood each other at a glance, so Gura knew immediately that the girl definitely wanted something from her.

That's how she heard about a famous rock band's concert at their college.

In fact, she didn't like showing up much at such events, nor did she like the parties that some rich student here threw almost every day. So the rejection response followed as quickly as Kiara's pleading gaze and hands folded in a gesture of entreaty.

She wanted to try to persuade her again, but unfortunately the professor came into the classroom, asking everyone to sit in their seats. After class Kiara didn't give up hope, to ask the white-haired girl again.

"Please! Just once!"

They walked along an empty corridor, some of them still had lessons. Kiara walked ahead, looking at her friend with a pleading gesture. Even if Gura still refused, she accepted every attempt to persuade her already annoying friend. She asked, then again, and again, until Gura stopped halfway out of the school.

"Okay! But only for the first and last time." She answered and in a few minutes was drawn into an embrace. Kiara joyfully said something almost shouting at Gura, and she only rolled her eyes, trying to get out of her friend's tight grip. "If you don't get off me now, I might change my mind."

Kiara immediately stands next to her, as if taking the girl's words as a threat and smiles innocently, sparkling with her sparkling eyes filled with happy lights. "You know, maybe someone will look at you at this concert."

"Don't start it again." Gura snorted, wrapping herself in the collar of her hoodie as her face met the cold breeze as she stepped outside. "You understand that I will never fall in love again, and this is my exact statement."

"But this is your own opinion, but your little brain and heart, which is still lonely, do not think so!" Kiara said, before wanting to continue her thought, she realized that several of her spoken words were not in good shape directed at Gura. "I mean, your brain is not that small, but there is more intelligence than me! And..."

"I'm giving you a few seconds to escape."

Kiara could have sworn that she felt her friend's aura suddenly turn black and began to slowly back away, looking at the enraged girl. "I'm just kidding! You don't understand friendly jokes?"

"You already have three seconds." Gura says, ignoring the words of the orange-haired girl. A shadow appears on her face, and a sinister smirk stains her lips. "Two..."

"I understand!"

After a few milliseconds, Kiara disappears from Gura's line of sight. She hears the girl's scream and, counting to one, accelerates, heading for her new victim. Time to run.

Noise. The first reason why Gura did not like to appear at events like this is the loud music from the screaming speakers throughout the hall. Now it was difficult for her to focus on the words of Kiara, who continued to say something, despite all the noise around them. In the end, the girl said something in the end, which Gura did not hear, and patting her on the shoulder, she left the white-haired girl alone.

She looked around the hall and saw nothing but drinking and dancing students. The place itself was prepared for the previous concert, which was supposed to start in fifteen minutes. Gura did not try to choose a look for tonight, and simply came in what she always entered school: a skirt and a blue hoodie, with sandals. Around her, everyone was dressed in the style of the event, black clothes, as if at a funeral, shone in her eyes, but also came across the usual styles.

"Hello, beauty." There was a hoarse voice behind her and she turned towards the sound, seeing a guy in front of her... a drunk guy, to be exact. In his hand was a glass of wine, which confirmed Gura's guesses about his condition. He smirked sweetly as he sat down at the counter next to the white-haired girl and set his glass down on the table with a thud. His eyes sparkled with pure lust as he looked directly at the girl who obviously didn't care about him. "Why are you here alone? What if some attractive guy like me steals you, hm?"

"Yeah. I'm afraid I'll have to hit you hard if you keep saying that." It was spinning in her head, but she did not voice her thoughts, but only smiled sweetly at the stranger in response. She shook her head in a negative sign and answered. "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in you."

"Seriously?" He asked as if he didn't take it seriously. Gura saw right in his eyes that he already imagined her in all forms, and tried to hide her disgust. He ran his fingers through his hair, pushing his bangs up a little, and grinned. "Such an offset does not grow on trees. Maybe you can change your mind?"

"You heard me, I'm not interested in you." She repeated and already wanted to get up from the chair, as the same drunken guy grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. She was in great shock at his actions, and tried to immediately pull away, because his mouth smelled terribly of alcohol. "Hey! Let me go!"

"Babe, I just want to get to know you." The guy says, and his hands go where they are not even allowed to go. Even when Gura hits him on the shoulders, this is not enough to resist, judging by the fact that the guy was a thug, and she is a weakling who can’t even lift a box. "Do not resist! I don't want to hurt you, beauty."

"I said I don't want to meet you!" She hissed through her teeth, already using her teeth to try to bite the alcoholic on the shoulder. Apparently Kiara is not even interested that her friend is about to be killed. "I will scream!"

"Hoho, save your voice when we're in the bedroom." He whispered in her ear, and that was the last straw of Gura. She wanted to give him his bells in return, which should get what they deserved, but then again, she can only talk and kick. "Still don't want to get to know each other better?"

"Her answer was negative from the start." There was a female voice near them and the two of them turned their heads to meet the girl. A blonde girl was standing there, clearly watching the scene for several minutes, only to intervene later. Her face didn't show any emotion as she looked straight into the guy's eyes without looking away. "Or should I appoint you an otorhinolaryngologist to help you with your ears?"

"Who are you anyway. Better go where you were going!" The guy said, but the girl did not let go. On the contrary, he strengthened his grip so that she would not run away if he relaxed her.

"I will go." She answered and threw a fleeting worried glance towards Gura, who looked back, but then the blonde again returned her blank look to the guy. Her eyes sparkled blue in the darkness of the hall. "But only if you let her go and get out of here. Or should I drag you to the exit by your scruff?"

Her last words sounded like a threat, and like the truth. From the way Gura felt the boy's body tense up, she could tell that he was a little scared, or a lot scared. Gura herself would have been frightened and fulfilled the request only if she looked at the blonde. Her physique was even much better than this guy, she looked stronger and defiant, like a short t-shirt does not hide the girl's muscular arms.. Gura came to her senses when she realized that she was still staring at the blonde, and tried to divert her attention by looking in the other direction. Then she felt the guy's hands relax and felt his body pull away from her.

"Good. I'll leave. But that doesn't mean it's over." The guy said before moving out of their line of sight.

Finally, Gura saw how the look of the blonde who had saved her softened and now looked at her. The blonde approached her and now Gura could see her well. A toned body, blue eyes in which she can see her reflection, and a luminous smile in all her teeth.

"Sorry for such confusion." She scratched her head guiltily and Gura already wanted to answer that everything was fine, but still the blonde was ahead of her. "You're just lucky that I passed by, because there are no upstarts who would want to stick their hands under that guy's arm."

"I-I'm fine!" Gura spoke. And why did she suddenly start stuttering? She suppressed the question and put on a smile to somehow seem grateful for the help. She really was thanks to the girl. "If we are having this conversation, may I know the name of my saviour?"

"I'm surprised you don't know me, but my name is Amelia Watson!" The blonde, already known as Amelia, answered and held out her hand. Her smile flashed in the darkness of the hall. "Since you know my name, can I have yours?"

"Gura. Gawr Gura." Gura answered and extended her hand to shake the blonde's hand. She smiled at her, and then heard Kiara's familiar voice wry to her from the crowd, trying to find her.

Amelia also realized that they would not have time to continue the conversation, so she shook her head. "It looks like they are looking for you. Enjoy this evening, I guarantee you that you will not be upset by it later."

When Gura turned to the girl, she was no longer there. She felt a hand on her shoulder and realized that Kiara was finally able to find her. The orange-haired girl said that the concert was about to begin, so she decided that she needed to be warned about it in order to find great places to watch.

They walked right up to the stage, and they were lucky that no one was pushing, because they could be run over at any moment. Finally, the lights in the hall went out. Everyone was silent when a figure, still incomprehensible to everyone, appeared on the stage, but from the outlines it was possible to understand that this was a girl. Suddenly, the lights turned on, showing several people on the stage. Gura's eyes widened as she looked at the scene, namely at a specific person, and this did not go unnoticed by Kiara.

"Gura, did something happen?" She asked, and the girl immediately shook her head to compose herself. Gura looked at Kiara and muttered something along the lines of everything being fine and they better watch the concert. Kiara looked at the girl in disbelief, but nevertheless decided to follow her example. "Anyway, tell me if anything happens."

During the concert, Gura could not take her eyes off one person who held a guitar in her hands and stood there on the stage. It was Amelia. She literally recognized the girl by her blue eyes, which also sparkled in the dark, and by the smile that remained in her head like some kind of treasure. Amelia, feeling that someone was closely watching her, immediately found this person among the crowd, and winked at Gura, and then continued to play as if nothing had happened. Heat gradually began to creep up the girl's neck, and when this heat reached her cheek, she looked down with a red face. What happened to her? This is definitely not some kind of cold or illness, it was great weather outside so as not to get sick. He did not understand what this feeling was, but she felt her heart begin to emit a frantic rhythm, and long-forgotten butterflies revived in her stomach.

It can't be!

She fell in love...

***

After that evening, she couldn't get the blonde out of her mind. Those same blue eyes, that same sweet smile and a voice that was good in its own way, broke through into her consciousness. When the girl was on that stage, Gura could not take her eyes off her and the whole concert looked only at her, not paying attention to others. When she left because the concert was over, she even felt a little sad that she couldn't see the blonde.

The next day, as always, she was sitting at her desk and repeating her homework, when suddenly Ina approached her. Ninomae Inanis was her second friend, so she smiled when she saw her in her line of sight. Due to the fact that Ina is studying in a different block of the college, they don't see each other very often. The girl sat down on the chair across from her, her hands folded on the desk.

"Did you know that instead of your teacher going on sick leave, you will have someone from your fourth year?" She asked, and Gura shook her head in response. It doesn’t matter to her who will teach her, the main thing is that she teaches well, and then she will look. "They say that it will be someone popular."

"Ina." Gura had to put the textbook on the desk with a crash and look at her friend with complete indifference. "If you want to be answered with interest, tell it to Kiara, she will be back from lunch soon."

"You are never interested in anything!" Snorting, Ina got up from her chair and left in search of Kiara. Gura rolled her eyes, returning to the repetition, not at all knowing that in fact the teacher would be the one who might have sunk into her soul...

Life really decided to play a trick on her? No, she is certainly glad that her wishes came true, but she did not mean that she would want to see that blonde in the place of her teacher. In my opinion, this is just a dream, and now, Amelia, who is leaning on the teacher's table and looking around the class, is just her imagination. She even pinched herself a couple of times, but the silhouette that was real didn't want to disappear. The blonde's hair was tied in a small ponytail, she herself was in an ordinary white shirt and black trousers, as well as sneakers of some well-known company. Her hands were in her pants pockets, and black glasses hung from the front of her shirt, which he took off as soon as he entered the classroom.

"So my dear students, whom I did not want to teach, but they forced me." She stopped to clear her throat. Her voice was indeed hoarse, so it seemed to Gura that she was sick or did not drink something wet to wash it. "You and your teacher ruined my break so you have to work hard today."

The entire class whined, clearly disappointed at this. Amelia slammed the table, which seemed to crack under her impact, silencing everyone. At first, her expression was indifferent, emotionless, which means that their opinion did not interest her, but then she again smiled just like yesterday.

"I'm just kidding!" She said and the stack of papers that was in her hands easily fell on the teacher's table. She walked around him and sat down at the armchair, crossing her legs and throwing her hands behind her head. "Do what you want, I'm too lazy to give you something."

The entire class immediately started yelling in gratitude to Amelia, who waved her hand at them and relaxed in her chair with her eyes closed. She looked tired and exhausted, as if she'd run a marathon before coming here. Gura stared at the girl, because since she said to do what they want, she would just look at the blonde. So several minutes of the lesson passed, then fifteen, already twenty, Amelia still did not open her eyes, apparently immersed in her thoughts or in a dream. Her face was cute when it was in a relaxed position, even too cute. Speaking of one person...

"Kiara!" Gura said, remembering that her friend was sitting in this audience, who was on her left hand. The orange-haired girl, who was currently chatting with some guy, immediately turned to her, ignoring the protesting sigh of the one she was talking to before. "I think I've fallen in love."

Kiara's eyes widened as she heard those words, and a smirk appeared on her lips that looked like a winning action. Of course, the girl was waiting for the moment when Gura finally understands that love still exists and it is real, and now this moment has come.

"And who's the lucky one?" She said with a smile, taking the entire audience away with her curious eyes in advance. Gura thought. Is it worth it to tell her? Suddenly, she is not yet sure of her feelings, because she has known Amelia for only a few hours and does not know if she is experiencing the same feelings. "Come on! My head is about to explode with curiosity!"

Gura breathed out. "It's Amelia."

"It's gre-" For a second, Kiara wanted to say, but then she glanced at the blonde near the teacher's table, and then at Gura. Gura could have sworn she could feel the gears in her head starting to work. "Wait. What?! You? She? What?!"

"Don't scream like that!" Gura suppresses the urge to punch her friend in her mouth so she doesn't scream like a victim. Her cheeks slowly began to turn red, and she thought she shouldn't have told it better in a place like this. "I'll tell you everything when the lesson is over, this is too inappropriate place for such a conversation."

"Young lady, we want to hear your talk too!" Amelia's voice was heard from the end of the class and Gura turned to the girl who was staring at them with a frown. All eyes immediately squinted at them, and Gura felt somehow embarrassed. They were talking too loud? "You can also continue talking about your problems in the Principal's office, but if you don't want to, be quiet."

"We won't do it again, teacher!" They spoke in unison and then fell silent when they received a nod of approval from the blonde.

"Kiara, I'll tell you after class." This time, Gura spoke in a whisper and straightened her back, indicating that the conversation was over for now...

***

"That's how we met." Gura said when she finished talking to Kiara about meeting Amelia. She brought in the case when they tried to drive up to her, not worrying about the reaction of her friend. Of course, Kiara promised her that she would find this sucker and hit him hard so that next time she would not pester anyone. "I don't think I'm exactly sure how I feel, but I think it is."

"Darling!" Kiara threw her arms around her. She was very happy when finally Gura found someone with whom she could live this boring life, otherwise Kiara would be too busy at this moment, to keep a close eye on her friend. "Finally, someone will look after you, otherwise I, an old woman, cannot keep track of my child!"

"Kiara, it's just my feelings! I don't know if Amelia feels the same emotions as me!" Gura answered, trying to get out of the arms of her friend, who will now deprive her of oxygen. "What if she already has someone?"

"It can not be!" Kiara said and then pulled away. She reached into the phone and searched for something before showing it to Gura, who had been watching her actions all this time. "Look!"

"So what is this?" Gura asked while taking the girl's phone. "Photos of the band we listened to yesterday."

"No! Read the first comment!" Kiara said directly jabbing at where the comment should be. Gura looked at the screen again, only looked down below. It was a comment from someone and also a reply from Calliope Mori, apparently the ringleader of a band. "Read attentively!"

"Someone writes: a girl with a guitar, she looks cute, is she dating anyone by any chance?" She read the first message from the anonymous person, and then looked away at Calli's message. "Our Amelia is single, but we won't give her to you, so don't even try!"

"See! She is single now, and this is your chance to make her completely different!" Kiara said and her eyes shone. She grabbed the girl by the shoulders and forced her to look at herself, and then said with seriousness. "You must confess to her. Otherwise it will be too late!"

"Confess?! You must be joking!" Gura grabbed Kiara's wrists to remove them from her and handed her the phone. "You know that I am shy and insecure when I talk to someone about such topics!"

"Have you forgotten that your friend is a heart-winning specialist?" She folded her arms across her chest, taking a "true specialist" stance, and winked at Gura. Judging by her appearance, she was not even interested in who Kiara was there and what she invented there. "I assure you that she will fall in love with you in just a week!"

"It seems to me that your methods will not be necessary to me." Gura grumbled under her breath so Kiara wouldn't hear. Well. If she wants to confess, then she will only have to listen to her friend. "And what do you want to do?"

"First, we need to find out about her interests!" Kiara answered and typed something into her phone, after which beeps were heard. Finally, the voice of a pink-haired girl was heard over the phone. Gura remembered it when she listened to her singing, so she immediately recognized Calli from the other side of the screen. "Hello Calli! We need to meet, are you busy right now? You will be free around 6pm? Good! Yeah. Thank you!"

"And why is this?" Gura said as she watched their conversation. Does she have options to refuse it? Gura thinks not.

"Calli, she's Amelia's best friend, and knows exactly what her interests are!" Kiara replied and sent a heart to the pink-haired girl, to which she sent her a frowning emoji. "She agreed with us today at seven in the auditorium."

"Do we really need to do this?"

"Gura, I'll do anything for love!"

"Why did I even agree to this?"

***

"So. What do you want from me, Kiara?"

They were in the auditorium. Amelia was even there, which confused the white-haired girl very much, but the blonde was obviously busy with other things, because the table was at the other end of the hall. Calli was still holding a piece of paper in her hands, apparently where they had written down the text of some song, and kept looking at it.

"You and Amelia are very good friends, aren't you?" Kiara said a little quieter so that the blonde who was in the same room with them wouldn't hear them. Without taking her eyes off the sheet of text, Calli nodded. "Do you happen to know what type she likes? This is just the thing..."

"So you came here to ask me what type Amelia likes, just so Gura can find out if she fits or not?" She said as she glanced at the two girls for a second, then turned her attention back to the paper. A silent question hovered in Kiara's head, which Calli immediately answered. "A musician knows better what's on people's minds."

"Doesn't matter. So, can you help us?"

Finally, the singer turned her full attention to the two girls, and then looked at Amelia, who at that moment was holding a guitar in her hands, trying to concentrate on the chords. Then she looked at Kiara, who was waiting for an answer.

"Why don't you ask Amelia about it?" She said and then sighed when she saw the orange-haired girl's protesting gaze. "I can only say that Gura fits the type Amelia prefers, that's all. Ask about the rest that you need her, though."

"See!" Kiara turned to Gura, who all this time did not listen to them, but looked at the blonde. When Kiara turned to her, she turned to her with a blush on her cheeks. "I told you that you were made for each other! You will be a great couple!"

"Gura, I will give you advice from me." Calli said as she put her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Don't try to change yourself to get someone to like you, first you have to like yourself, and then you will be loved just the way you are."

"Just be myself?" Gura said, and the pink-haired woman smiled at her as she walked away. Of course, something in these words was right, just be yourself, and then you can achieve everything. This is even better advice than she heard from Kiara. "I understand you. Thank you!"

"Contact me at any time!" She answered, her kind and smiling face was replaced by a stony and serious one. She clapped her hands several times. "Now please leave the auditorium, we have a rehearsal! Amelia, are you ready?"

The blonde immediately looked at Calli. Taking off the headphones she was wearing to check the sound, she held up her finger and smiled.

"Thank you again, Calli!"

"You're welcome."

Gura decided that she had had enough of this day and she and Kiara went to their dorms. They walked and thought about the confession until almost nine in the evening, so it was dark outside. And there were also hints of rain, which Gura did not really like, because if it starts now, she will not get dorm. Why did Kiara even decide to think about everything in the park when it's a few miles from the college.

Now she is walking along the pavement, and watches as the weather begins to upset. The clouds were getting darker, even too dark, despite the fact that it was already night outside. And then the first drops began to fall on her face. Today is definitely not a lucky day for her and possibly for everyone. She almost reached the crossing, she was about to cross, when she saw a familiar figure at the other end of the street. Amelia?! It was true she. The girl stood near the curb, thrusting her hands into her pockets, and she raised her head, looking at the sky and at the rain that dripped on her. What is she doing here, isn't she having a rehearsal. And most importantly, why is she standing in the rain and not even trying to go to the dorm. Gura did not have time to think and look at the blonde again, as she was no longer in place. Where did she go?

"Hey!" It was heard near her and she jumped in fright, almost slipping from the wet asphalt, since Amelia was nearby and immediately pulled her towards her, not letting her fall. This embarrassed Gura, so she quickly pulled away from the red-faced blonde. "What are you doing here? I don't think the weather is great right now."

"I want to ask you the same." Gura answered, moving away from the sudden contact with the girl, bringing herself back to normal. Finally, she felt calmer, so she turned to Amelia, who apparently examined her from head to toe. "I was returning to the dorm. then this annoying rain came. And what are you doing here?"

"I just decided to take a walk, the night is so wonderful." Amelia answered and folded her arms across her chest. She still seemed to be scanning the Gura with her gaze, again swiping over it several times. "It takes at least twenty minutes to get to the dorm. I don't think you can get there, and the rain is getting stronger."

"What can I do?" Gura snorted and spread her arms out to the sides. "I have to go through all this rain to get to a warm room!"

"That's not the way to go." Amelia said and looked around. She wanted to go to some cafe to wait out the rain, but unfortunately all the cafes were closed at that time. There was only one option left, and that was Amelia's house, which was only ten minutes away. Better than walking twenty minutes in the rain. "My home is not as far from here as college. I insist that we wait out the rain there, and then you will return to the dorm."

"What? Don't, Amelia! Nothing will happen if I go like this!" Gura immediately began to refuse, because it would be embarrassing. In the same house as Amelia? Haha. You must be joking! She would never stay with a blonde in the same room, no matter what problems she has right now... "Really, it's not worth it! I'm grateful to you, of course, but I don't want to inconvenience you."

"You know, my little house can take at least a hundred guests." Amelia spoke, and leaned over Gura, holding her hands in a pleading gesture. "I insist. Today you were in our auditorium and helped me with your presence to come up with the necessary act. I want to pay you for this!"

"W-what did I do?" Gura asked again, but in fact she heard everything well. How could she help her? It always seemed to her that the girl was not in the mood tonight. "But why me?"

"Please, Gura, I have to pay you!" Until now, Amelia begged her, already almost sitting on her knees. Does she really want Gura to go with her that much? But here's just why. "If you refuse, my music will not play so beautifully, it will become sad."

Gura could no longer refuse. That sweet face and the pleading look the blonde was giving her was too addictive. "Okay! But only once."

"Jackpot!" Amelia straightened her back, and smiled with all her teeth. Then she made an unexpected action, taking Gura by the hand and pulling him towards her. Gura bumped her nose into the blonde's collar and immediately her cheeks began to burn. "Until we get there, let it be on you. So that you don't freeze."

Gura felt something warm fall on her shoulders, and when she opened her eyes, overcoming embarrassment, she noticed on herself a jacket that Amelia would have worn earlier. The girl herself was now in a light t-shirt, which Gura did not really like.

"But what about you? You'll freeze too!"

Gura had already begun to take off her own jacket, as on her hands, which were holding her shoulder, other people's icy palms were light. She's so cold! Why isn't she cold? Gura lifted her head, meeting blue eyes like a clear sky, which were looking at her.

"Don't worry, my health is so stable, you can't even imagine." Amelia smiled and brushed away the bangs that had fallen in her eyes. "Let's go! We just need to cross the road and turn the corner."

"Thank you Amelia, but you know, you're too kind." Gura said when they had already begun to approach some kind of fence. All this way, the girl did not let go of her hand, which was a little embarrassing. "Someone can use this."

"I don't! I usually say no to everyone." Amelia said and turned to the petite girl with a smile on her face. "I don't know why, but I want to respond to you with kindness too!"

"Haha, t-that's very nice of you!" A blush instantly appeared on Gure's face, and his voice began to stutter a little. Amelia, my God, what are you doing to her. "Are we almost there?"

"Yes!"

Gura saw another fence, but higher than the one they had recently passed. There was no house behind him, but Gura realized that he would definitely be small, because if it were different, even from such a fence she would be able to notice him. At first, she received that this was actually the case, but when the gates opened, her eyes widened and rushed to the huge mansion, which was even larger than their dormitory.

"And you live here?!" She said as she looked around the "small" house that Amelia was talking about. Outside, it was equipped, as in a medieval form, probably also inside. The house had three stories, maybe even four, and a garage that looked small on the outside, but was definitely big on the inside.

"This house was originally my father's." Amelia said as she opened the front door. She gestured for the girl to enter, and when Gura entered, she went after her, closing the door. Gura was right, inside it is also in the style of the Middle Ages. "But then, because of work, he moved to another country, giving this house to me as a legacy."

"What about the rest of the family?" Gora asked, running her fingers along the back of the sofa. Everything was so clean and well maintained, as if no one had touched this house for many years. "It could fit several families!"

"My brother Armando and my grandmother live in another city and sometimes come here to visit, and my mother..." Amelia broke off at the words, as if she had said something wrong, she was trying to correct herself. "As I remember myself, I never saw her. My father said that she left after my birth and that's it, I don't know anything more about her."

Gura felt a pang of guilt for asking, she didn't know Amelia's story. The blonde apparently noticed the tension in the air and waved her hand, smiling.

"The usual thing! I'm not mad at her." She said, hiding around the corner. A few minutes later she came out with things in her hands and handed them to Gura. "Here, you need to change your clothes or you'll catch a cold. The bathroom is right along the corridor and to the left, you can leave wet things on the bedside table."

"Thank you!"

A few minutes later, Gura came out of the bath, fully dressed and dried. Her hair was loose, which made it dry faster. She was wearing a black t-shirt that was two sizes too big and came down to her knees. Ordinary shorts, which fortunately fit her well, and fluffy sandals. Stepping out into the living room, she spotted Amelia reaching for the top cabinet to get something. The end of her shirt was pulled up, revealing her toned belly. Gura found herself staring at her, not caring at all if she was noticed or not. When the girl turned to her, she tried to look away as quickly as possible and stare at the wooden floor.

"You look cute in my clothes, I'll tell you." Amelia said and smiled as she saw a blush flow down the face of the white-haired girl. "If you want something to eat, then the kitchen is behind you, and if you want to take a nap until the rain stops, I can show you to the guest room."

"I think I'll choose the second option, I don't think I'm hungry right now."

"Then follow me!"

The room was simple and comfortable, and Gura did not disappoint in the slightest. The room had everything she needed. As she scanned the room, Amelia stood behind her, leaning on the door frame and looking out the window. The rain raged so hard that the trees that grew in the backyard of the house began to lean to the side. There were hints of a thunderstorm in the sky, because small flashes were visible in the distance.

"I do not think that the weather will return to normal again today, at least until tomorrow." She said and exhaled, straightening her back. "If you need anything, I'll be in my room. It is located at the other end of the corridor, there is only one room."

"Thank you again Ame, I don't know what I would do without you." Gura said and immediately stopped. "Ah. I m-mean Amelia."

"It's okay! That's what my dad used to call me when I was a kid, so you even gave me a flashback." Amelia answered and after a few seconds she disappeared from the room. Gura looked for several minutes at the empty place where the girl had recently stood and there was a blush on her cheeks. She has to watch her language.

The first roll of thunder began. It lit up the whole room and probably the whole city with how strong it was. Gura flinched when she heard him and felt her body begin to tremble from it, and her heart shrink. As in childhood, and still, loud noises frighten her, especially if this noise is emitted by a thunderstorm. At first she thought you could resist and stayed in bed trying to sleep. A second roll of thunder rumbled over the house, and she clutched the blanket to somehow calm her trembling. It was followed by a third, a fourth, and Gura is already on his feet. Her legs begin to move on their own without her knowledge and lead her out of the room. Her brain already knew exactly where she was going, and Gura herself already knew that she was heading towards Amelia's room. True, she does not want her to seem like a coward in the eyes of a blonde, but it's better that way than to endure it all.

Here she is already standing in front of the door that leads to the blonde's room. Listening, she hears nothing but silence and the rain that beats on the roofs, and also a thunderstorm, who decided to invade her mind again. The hand itself rises into the air and hangs near the door, she knocks once, no one answers, only when Gura knocks a second time, she hear the click of the lock. Amelia stands in front of Gura and rubs her eyes, apparently, she had recently slept, but the white-haired girl came and woke her up. When she finally can see the person well before days, she says.

"Gura? Do you need something?" She asks and looks into blue eyes to see some hints of her question that obviously weren't there. The blonde raises her hand to look at the clock, which shows 1:27 a.m. "You can't sleep?"

"I-I... I just-" Before she could finish speaking, the corridor was again illuminated by the rumble of thunder. Without looking after herself, she already feels something soft and warm under her cheek, her arms wrap around Amelia, who, in turn, reflexively hugs the girl in response. If Gura did not know what state she was in now, she would quickly move away from the girl, but only a light and imperceptible blush painted her face, and a sob came from her lips. "S-sorry... I'm just a little afraid of thunderstorms..."

"It's okay, you made the right decision to come to me." Amelia's voice carried over her ear, it was gentle and pleasant to the ear, which surprised the white-haired woman very much, because usually she heard a voice with hoarseness and rudeness. "Let's better go into the room, otherwise you'll get cold just standing here."

As soon as they were in the room, Gura felt a calm in her heart and warmth emanating from Amelia's body, which continued to hug her waist, not letting the peals of thunder disturb her. Amelia was definitely the kind of person Gura could feel safe with. She was something in the form of a ray of sunshine that illuminated her during a hurricane. Gura liked this feeling until butterflies fluttered in her stomach, when she hugged the love of her life like this. If these feelings were mutual, she would explode with joy, knowing that she is next to a person who loves her as much as she does.

"Gura." There was a pleasant whisper in her ear, and she could not help herself, so she raised her head, meeting the blue eyes that had been intoxicating her head for several days. A tender smile appeared on Amelia's lips as she raised her hand to wipe a single tear from Gura's pale cheek. "Do you want to sleep with me tonight until the storm stops?"

"You've asked a strange question at the moment." Gura muttered, burying himself in the collar of the blonde's shirt, from whose direction he heard a chuckle. "Do I have the option of refusing your offer?"

"Let me think." Amelia looked up at the ceiling, pretending to think, but they both knew that there were no options, so she gave an answer instantly. "Unfortunately, you cannot refuse me, because my charming face is so beautiful that no one can refuse, princess."

"Princess? We started to come up with nicknames?" Gura said and grinned, seeing a smile full of mischief. She grunted, staring at the floor before her eyes flashed. "Then I'll call you sunshine now! Or Ame. I'll figure it out when I can."

"Okay, I got you. Now hurry to bed, otherwise you'll be sleeping on the floor!"

Gura giggled, pulling herself out of the hug she didn't want to part with. "Please, just don't be my mom!"

"Haha, I won't if you listen to me."

For several minutes Gura has been trying to fall asleep, basking in the arms that she so lacked, depending on the circumstances. Amelia hugged her from behind, hugging her and warming her with her warmth. The quickened hot breath that flooded her ear indicated that the girl had already fallen into a dream. Finally, she felt calm, and the lightning, which even if it hit the ground, but noisily penetrated into her mind, slowly subsided. She felt the grip on her stomach intensify, pressing her closer to her and it couldn't help but make a smile appear on her face. She could already feel the weariness from all this slowly starting to take over her and her eyelids to close.

Gura woke up in the best mood in her life, because she could feel how strong arms hugged her all night, and the body behind her gave warmth all the time. Although Gura woke up, she did not try to open her eyes, because she felt the girl bend down from behind and exhale into her ear.

"Princess, the sun has woken up and you wake up." Her voice came over her head, and Gura barely managed to restrain herself from smiling. Gura felt a pinch on her side. "I know you're awake, Gura."

"Oh man! It really was that noticeable?" Gura snorted in amazement as she finally opened her eyes. The two blue eyes stared at her with the tenderness and love she'd been missing. "Good morning, sunshine!

"Morning, little one!" Amelia let go of the girl's waist to lie on her back with her arms behind her head. She gracefully covered her previous yawn with the back of her hand and straightened her back as she sat up in bed. "I hope the yard isn't so dirty after the night."

"Kiara usually writes to me at this time." Gura says, looking at her phone. There was no message on the screen, not even from Ina. "Although I usually wake up and already missed a few from her."

"Hm." Amelia reached over to the nightstand where her phone was and turned it on. There was a message from Calli to call her back, as well as a missed one. Amelia immediately dialed the call and after a few seconds, a pink-haired girl answered her. She lifted the phone to her ear. "Your faithful assistant is on the line, what do you need?... Our buddy crashed and broke his leg and now I need to replace him?"

"You, it's our chance to get everything ready in time, so you'd better not say no." Spoke a voice that radiated a threat. Amelia rolled her eyes because she didn't want to say no, especially if it was her best friend's request. "So what?"

"I don't do everything for free, you know."

Amelia heard the girl on the other end of the line sigh, so she chuckled when she heard the answer. "You owe me a hand, I owe you a can of beer. Deal?"

"It's a pleasure doing business with you!" She said and hung up the phone. She glanced towards Gura, who was stretching out towards the ceiling, stifling a yawn. Her tousled hair and not very cheerful face looked very cute, wrinkled t-shirt, which pulled up when stretching the muscles. She shook her head, pushing herself away from unnecessary thoughts and put the phone aside, and then went to the door. "Your clothes are hanging in the bathroom, they are dried. I'm waiting outside to take you to college. You better hurry up."

Gura snorted, frowning at the blonde. "This is the second time you've answered me kindly, and I can't even do anything!"

"Just wait, and I may need your help soon, princess." Amelia answered and grunted, rushing to the floor. She lifted her head again and looked at the girl, smiling. "If my song soon stops making sense, all I have to do is look at you and it will take on new colors. That's how you help me."

"And how will I know when you lose your sense of the line?" Gura snorted, standing next to Amelia and looking up at her. Damn, she's tall. "And why does it seem to me that I'm standing with a pillar, where are you so tall from?"

"You just don't look at me that often, baby." Amelia said, and a mocking smirk appeared on her face. "You know, I just realized now that you're so small and cute."

"Go ahead, I'll be ready soon!"

"As the princess wishes."
