Summary
Dean Winchester is a man who believes he has no future. Wounded in World War I and living with a facial disfigurement, he mourns for the life he once led – and the man he once loved – by writing poetry and shutting out the world.
Castiel Novak is a man living in the past. Lost in a web of grief and guilt after the death of his brother Gabriel, he pours all of his energy into running the Mt. Paradise Hotel, a place for veterans to heal. But while Castiel is well versed in the art of healing others, he doesn’t believe he is worthy of the same treatment.
When Dean becomes the newest resident of the Mt. Paradise Hotel, both he and Castiel will need to face the ghosts of their pasts to make a future worth living for.
