MADISON HARGROVE WAS never usually one to believe in ghost stories. She was the type of person to say 'it's just the wind' when a strange noise was heard outside. Ghosts and aliens were something she had told herself for a long time, weren't real.
WHEN SHE MOVED to Hawkins, Indiana last year, it seemed that her beliefs would take a turn for the worse, when she was told the stories of what had happened to a boy named Will Byers a year prior. At first, she didn't believe any of it. But when she started having dreams that seemed too real to be just dreams, she thought that maybe the stories were true.
TO BEGIN WITH she tried to distance herself from everything, but being friends with people on the front line proved that to be impossible. Steve had been the first person she spoke to on her first day of school, mostly because she knew that Billy was out to get him and wanted to annoy her twin brother. Ever since then she and Steve had been best friends, actually growing to be quite fond of each other. It was when someone asked her why the two weren't dating that she realised she'd never had any attraction to men, ever.
WHEN ROBIN BUCKLEY came into her life, she discovered something about herself that scared her a lot more than alternate dimensions.
