“Hey sunshine”
Sunshine doesn’t turn their head but instead continues to look at the sunset, “I told you to stop fucking calling me that” Sunshine replies “ya but you know I won’t” “Maybe, but one can hope, Time” Time sits down next to me “you know if you hope for it then you’ll hope forever, but that is not what I wanted to talk about”
“What did you what to talk about” I turn my head to look at him “you need to wake up, sunshine, you have fallen asleep again on your desk and I think your boss is walking towards you” “I know I just wanted to say hi, let’s talk soon” “ok well see you soon sunshine” “tell the boys I said hi,” “why don’t you tell them yourself” “You know I can’t come back, I’m sorry Time…see you later” “I know but one can hope” “you know if you hope for it then you’ll hope forever” time chuckles “ ya ok,” Sunshine slowly starts to disappear
“goodbye deo,” Sunshine says as he turns fully transparent

Time looks back over to the sunset only to find the night sky awaiting him “i know you just left, but I already miss you….

Tommy wakes up and opens his eyes to look at his boss that staring down at him with sad eyes “Tommy” his boss says quietly “sorry for falling asleep miss Mel it won’t happen again I prom-” Tommy starts only to be cut off by miss Mel
”I’m sorry Tommy but that was your last chance and I know times are hard and I truly am so sorry but I have to fire you, unless, you quit first so it won’t go on your record” “ok, I understand, and in that case, then I-I...I quit…I guess I better start packing”
“goodbye Tommy, I hoped that this wouldn’t happen but I guess it was just inevitable” “ya I guess you're right”
Miss Mel places an envelope on his (old) desk “this is your last paycheck” Tommy opens the envelopes to find 500 dollars “b-but this is 500 my paycheck is 100” Tommy looks back at Miss Mel with disbelief
“I know, but your a good kid Tommy and like I said I know times are hard so that should keep you afloat for a bit while you look for a job” Miss Mel looks at him with sorrow written all over her face
“thank you miss Mel so much and one day I come to visit you,” Tommy says feeling an emotion that he still doesn’t understand that well “well I certainly hope you do, but all said and done goodbye Tommy Innit it was a pleasure being your boss” “goodbye Miss Mel I hope to see you again soon”
miss Mel turns and leaves Tommy to his own “well fuck…I guess I should start packing my things” Tommy says with a sigh as he looks over to see a cardboard box that Miss Mel put on his desk without him realizing it, Tommy goes and reaches over to open his cabinets and grabs his stuff, and puts them in the box Miss Mel put on his now old desk.

‘Ding’ Tommy looks up from one of the job places he signed up for to look at his front door ‘who the fuck is that’ Tommy thinks to himself as he gets up and walks towards his door
It's a quick walk for he only has about 4 rooms (his room, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. though his kitchen and living room are like one big room if you think about it) but Tommy like it, considering that fact that it only him and it not dirty and falling apart so Tommy will take what he can get for a relatively low price,
Tommy reaches for the handle only to stop in his tracks upon hearing whispers on the other side of the door ‘wait a minute, what if I just…’ Tommy reaches for his earring aid and turns them up
“what if he doesn’t answer” “well then I will break down the door”
Tommy quickly recognized them as his neighbors Ranboo and Tubbo and Tommy wants to just not answer, but he doesn’t want his door to be broken down considering Tubbo has done that before and it took a while before his door was fixed again
Tommy quickly turns his hearing aid down and opens the door a bit so that he can poke his head out “hum” Tubbo and Ranboo turn their heads from bickering with each other “Tommy!” Tubbo yells while Ranboo flinches so hard that he jumps a foot or two
“what the fuck do you two what,” Tommy says straight forward “what are we not allowed to visit our best friend,” Tubbo asks with a grin on his face “ya of course you are but your ‘best friend’ isn’t me so you must have got the wrong house, so goodbye, Tubox, and Ranboob”
Tommy leans out of the doorway and slams the door only to be stopped by Ranboos shoe, that he snuck in so that the door won’t close “move your dumb foot, boob boy” Tommy complains
(now don’t get Tommy wrong when they first moved in he was ok with them but one day he was leaving his apartment to go to his job and turned to see Ranboo and Tubbo holding like five guns, about seven knives, and a huge backpack that was opened and when Tommy looked at the bag he could see a bomb, while Ranboo and Tubbo also staring at him, so pretty much let’s just say Tommy went back into his house and called in sick that day.)
“Sorry but no, instead why don’t you give us a chance to be your best friends” Ranboo insists “ya come on, boss man, give us a chance” Tubbo adds in.
Tommy opens the door all the way, he sighs but he goes to lean on the doorway while Ranboo takes his foot back “listen I’m not in the mood right now cuz I just got fired or I quit? Whatever but you two aren’t going to just leave, so I will make a deal with you guys”
Tubbo’s and Ranboo’s eyes widen in shock and interest though Tommy isn’t sure if they are shocked about the deal or him not having a job. Tommy closes his eyes and starts talking “so here’s the deal I will give you both one week to find out what hybrid I am, also a hint is that I lied on my files, but if you don’t find it, then you both leave me alone for a month also if you ask me to hang out with you I have to say yes unless I’m going to a job interview or if I do go and get a job when we hang out it has to be after or before my work hours”
Tommy stops for a minute to open his eyes and look at the two boys in front of him and Tommy is shocked that their eyes are telling him to continue “I will give you both my number if you guys want, and any questions you ask me I will try to answer them truthfully but remember that there are some questions that I will not answer. Now any questions?” Tommy looks back and forth between them
“I have one question” Ranboo and Tubbo say at the same time, Tommy encourages them to continue “what if your in your house and we can’t reach you” Tubbo says first “well……how about this, you both will get keys to my apartment and can go in here whenever you want and I wouldn’t kick you both out when you come in but try not to go into my room…so is that deal ok with you big man?”
“ya I’m ok with that” Tommy and Tubbo turn to Ranboo “what was your question?” “o-oh, well I guess I have two questions, the first one is what are your pronouns cuz I believe we are going to do this deal, correct?” “ya,” Tubbo agrees “ok then and they are he/them, and what was your next question?” Tommy answers “ when do we start?” Ranboo said with a cheesy grin
“well right I am so fucking tired right now, big man, and I just what to sleep and tomorrow I am starting my hunt for a new job so I’ll be busy…so….maybe… in like two days if that’s ok-“ “YES” “yes,” Tubbo and Ranboo say at the same time “bye,” Tubbo says grabbing Ranboo’s hand and running over to their apartment and opening the door and then ‘SLAM’
Tommy sighs ‘I’m going to bed’ he quietly closes his door cuz it’s almost 9:00 and some people go to bed at this time. He goes over to his room and changes to something way comfier almost right after he falls on his bed with a ‘Plop’ and falls asleep as soon as his head reaches the pillow

Tommy opens his eyes to see the beginning of the sunrise again “hey sunshine, you here early” Tommy turns his head around to see deo grinning at him with Luke, Wisp, and Bitzel staring at him with their eyes wide open in shock next to him
“h-how,” Wisp says as quietly as a whisper, “I think you should sit down,” Tommy says with a soft tone, The boys quickly follow Deo who was already walking over to Tommy “sooo…” Bitzel starts “well right now I’m using part of my power which I call dream talker, technically I’m not here cuz my body is currently asleep in my bed but my consciousness can travel wherever I what it to but it only goes over there at sunset or sunrise so I could be talking to past you or even future you” Tommy explains
“That's so cool!” Wisp fangirls over “Wow!…wait…deo! You bitch, this is where you're going, and you didn’t tell us!” Bitzel complains. Bitzel and Wisp start asking questions and fangirl over it and deo answering all the questions.
Tommy turns to Luke “you ok Luke you have been quiet?” Luke turns to stare at Tommy “boss, what do you mean when you say that dream talking was only part of your power?!” Luke blurts out Bitzel and Wisp slowly turns towards Tommy
“what the fuck!?” “There’s more??” They yell at the same time
“well duh, dumbass, you already know that I can see if people are telling the truth or not when I take my glasses off and stare at them, cuz that’s the only thing I used around you guys but I have more than just that how do you guys think I become your boss exactly?”
“I don’t know, but like what are your other powers” Bitzel wonders “ I wonder that too you have never really told me”
Deo says with more interest “sorry guys I can’t tell you guys all of it, for it is one of the many secrets I will try to bring to the grave unless something happened but until then, I will not say, sorry-“ A noise cuts Tommy off ‘beep, beep, beep’
Tommy looks around at his boys even though they are older than Tommy, they will always be his boys “well, big man I can hear my alarm going off telling me to wake up, so see you guys soon, and it was good to see you guys tonight, and not going to be here tomorrow but have a good rest of your day” Tommy says turning toward the sun that’s almost completely done with it rise
“w-what but we still have more to talk about” “ya” “he’s right don’t go yet” the boy's fumble over themselves
“boys, if you would like we can come to visit during sunset in a couple days but just know that sometimes he doesn’t come cuz it always leaves him exhausted, alright?” Deo steps in “ya I'm pretty sure that I am going to come during sunset so I will see you all soon, ok?” Tommy says as he is halfway transparent
“do you promise,” wisp asks quietly “I promise, and then I will tell you all about how my day went, but for now see you fuckers soon, and don’t get yourself killed ” Tommy waves at them as he fully disappears
