Work Text:
Stanley hissed at the pickle, he was in his pouncing position..his pupils were wide. His claws dug into the tile floor of the kitchen, as he stared at the pickle intently..his tail waved around, signifying his emotion.
A few seconds ago, The narrator told him to turn around, he hopped five feet up into the air when he first saw it, scowling and attacking the pickle. But now he was simply staring at it. Waiting for it to make a move. Waiting for an excuse to attack it.
The narrator chuckled at the sight, it was adorable, “oh, Stanley, it’s just a pickle! It won’t hurt you.”
No reply from Stanley. He paws at it, and hisses again when it moves. It sways from side to side as Stanley keeps whacking at it. Only causing it to move more.
Eventually it began to roll, causing Stanley to follow it around.
Then, it rolled around the narrator’s legs, the narrator stared down at his feet, as a catified Stanley chirped at the sight of the pickle. (Yes, he has the ability to turn into a cat. I make the rules, I say he is cat.)
He poofed out of his cat form, grabbing Narry’s leg and staring at the pickle. Which was now in front of the narrator. The narrator chuckled, petting Stanley. Stanley was snapped out of his pickle crazed trance almost immediately, and leaned into his owners touch.
A loud purr emanated from the catboy, he stood up, leaning into Narry’s arms more..the narrator smiled, and kissed Stanley on the cheek. Pulling him into a tiny embrace.
“You’re such a sweet boy..”
He murmured. Stanley purred even louder. The vibrations made the narrator happy. They were soothing..not only that, but Stanley was very, very soft. So petting him was also very satisfying.
He began to pet Stanley, Stanley leaned into his touch even more. His purring was increasing. His eyes were closed out of pure bliss from the narrator’s pets.
“Sweet boy..”
Their lips suddenly met, Stanley kissed back. Purring louder and hugging the narrator. His ears flickered, as he felt the narrator begin to play with them.
They stayed like this for a bit, and left the kitchen. Making their way towards the couch, and sitting down on it. It wasn’t long until Stanley was laying on top of the narrator, relaxing on his chest, and purring. The vibrations were so strong, that you could even feel them if you touched the couch.
“Bop.”
The narrator said, bopping one of Stanley’s ears, eventually. He said ‘bop’ again, and bopped Stanley’s left ear. He started doing it over and over again, alternating between the left and right cat ears.
At first, Stanley didn’t care, but eventually, he found himself chirping with curiosity. Moving his head from side to side whenever the narrator bopped his ears.
It was Narry’s favorite game, seeing Stanley get so confused about his ears.
Eventually, Narry stopped. Just to see how the catboy would react. He replied to this behavior by stuffing his face into the narrator’s chest. Purring louder..
“Happy kitty..hmm..?”
Narry said. Stanley nodded. Looking back up at him and making a tiny smile. The narrator’s heart nearly melted at the sight of a shy Catley, so he pulled him into another kiss.
Stanley kissed right back, he then yawned, and relaxed on Narry’s chest..closing his eyes. His tail still flicked every now and then. Meaning he was still awake.
Narry found himself getting tired as well.
“Mm..night, Stanley. I love you..”
Stanley purred, looking up at Narry, and signing back..
‘I love you too!’
