When the sun loves the moon~
As he ran to the spot, his power getting weaker, each step he took almost made him trip into dismay. He had finally reached the spot, the spot where they first met.
‘He’s not here yet, I mean it is night. He needs to raise the moon up to the sky.’ Jimmy sighs, leaning on a tree. He stares at the beautiful moon that reminds him of his first love. The moon slowly rose from the horizon more and more until it was somewhere close to the middle of the dark sky. It was around midnight. ‘His job should be finished by then.’ Jimmy yawned, slightly closing his eyes and then-
“You’ve been waiting for me this long, huh?” He heard a familiar voice said with disbelief, Jimmy opened his eyes, seeing Scott, as beautiful as ever in the shining moonlight.
“Yeah, I’ve been waiting for you, Petal.” Jimmy says with a slight chuckle, walking towards Scott for a hug. Scott hugs Jimmy back with a sigh of guiltiness.
“I’m sorry, you had to wait. Sunflower, you know what, the next time we meet up. We can meet up in the daytime, around noon even.” Scott says but it was slightly muffled since he was hugging Jimmy but Jimmy could understand him perfectly fine.
“You don’t have to do that, I know how weak you get when you're in the daytime so really you don’t have to but you could do me a favor.” Jimmy says with a smirk at the end of his sentence.
“Oh god, I know that tone.” Scott says, playfully rolling his eyes and then letting go of Jimmy, proceeding to get out of Jimmy’s warm grasp that comforts him so much. “Okay, what do you want then?” Scott asks while Jimmy lays on the dark green grass, Scott proceeding to lay beside him. Their hands connected together.
Jimmy closed his eyes, “It’s not that much, I just want a flower crown made out of sunflowers.” Jimmy answered, holding Scott’s hand tighter, making Scott hold Jimmy’s hand tighter.
“Oh, that’s all. Yeah! I can do that for you.” Scott smiles, turning on his side, letting go of Jimmy’s hand and grabbing his arm and hugging it while also closing his eyes.
“Thank you… for being here, my Petal.” Jimmy says as he hears soft snoring from the other boy who was hugging his arm, he smiles in appreciation and happiness as he too also starts to fall asleep, bringing the purple haired boy closer to his chest, whispering a goodnight to the boy and unexpectedly the purple haired boy said goodnight too. The two boys having a smile on their faces as they drift to sleep in each other’s presence.
It was quite iconic that Scott slept first as he was most likely to be the one to sleep last out of the two but when he was in the arms of someone he dearly loves with all his heart then he could trust then he would relax and stop worrying for a bit and go into a deep sleep in the arms of his first love, his Sunflower that always brightens up his day.
Even the ocean feels her pull~
“WHERE IS HE?!” Lizzie says with anger and frustration at the other controllers in the room, it was around dawn. The sun was supposed to rise while the moon was supposed to set back to the horizon but none of those things happened so Lizzie, the controller of the ocean and the sister of the controller of the sun, called a meeting. The people who had arrived were the controller of the clouds, Joel, controller of the underground, Fwhip, controllers of the nature, Shubble and Katherine, controller of the high cliffs and mountains and magic, Gem, controller of time, False, controller of the stars, Lauren, and other controllers.
Everyone looked either mad, confused, or worried when they entered the meeting room. They simply didn’t know where the controller of the sun is or where the controller of the moon is.
Lauren simply did not care about the controller of sun or the problem in hand which was the moon not setting back to the horizon and the sun not rising up to sky, she was okay with the problem, she liked the night, the deep darkness that would surround her when it was night, though she was worried on what had happen to Scott, her brother. Could it have been Xornoth? No, it wouldn’t be her other brother, he was okay, he wasn’t evil anymore. Plus Xornoth only disappears when the moon was gone and the moon wasn’t gone so could that possibly mean that it was Xornoth who did this, no, it couldn’t be. Xornoth cares about Scott even when he was corrupted before.
“-LAUREN!” Lizzie yells Lauren’s name for the fourth time, making Lauren snap out of her worried thoughts about her two younger brothers that she adores so much.
Lauren sighs, “Yeah, Lizzie?” Lauren asks the pink haired ocean controller, making eye contact. Anger filled Lizzie’s eyes but a tint of worry was also shown in her eyes, Lizzie was also worried for her brother.
“I asked you a question, do you know where your two brothers are? They're supposed to attend the meeting.” Lizzie said with bitterness lacing her words as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Or unless they're the ones who kidnapped Jimmy.” Lizzie gave a pointed look towards Lauren, who looked shocked.
As Lauren was about to answer Lizzie, Gem stepped in, “Now, now. I don’t think Lauren kidnapped Jimmy, Lizzie. Plus you can’t just blame people without evidence and plus why would Scott and Xornoth do this. What would they gain from kidnapping Jimmy?” Gem asked both of the controllers.
“Yeah, right.” Lizzie scoffed then continued, “Xornoth has been corrupted before by the power of the darkness which also could mean he got corrupted again and then kidnapped Jimmy.” Lizzie argued.
“She’s got a good point, Lauren.” Fwhip pointed out to everyone in the meeting room to hear. Murmurs of agreement were heard throughout the room.
“Hey, look, just because someone was evil before doesn’t mean they would be evil now.” Gem defended, “People change, guys.”
“Pfft, yeah right, not everyone changes, Gem.” Joel says while rolling his eyes at Gem who looked offended by the comment.
“Hey! Don’t talk to her like that!” Fwhip yelled at Joel with anger in his voice. Arguing was all over the room, people fought and gave pointed looks. Nothing was fine. Without the controller of the sun or the moon, everything would be messed up, it would be messed up just like when Xornoth got corrupted by his own selfish desires and darkness.
“EVERYONE STOP!” Everyone stopped arguing and looked at the person that had just yelled, it was Katherine. Katherine wasn’t the type to yell out like that or to get mad so everyone listened to what she had to say. Her wife looked at her, also ready to listen and support her words. Shubble glared at everyone that had tried to interrupt her Blossom.
“Look, I get all of you guys are upset since Scott and Jimmy are missing and we can find a solution, if you guys just stopped arguing.” Katherine said as the stars and the moon glimmered through the window, it was around breakfast time but of course it didn’t look like it was as the sun hadn't risen and the moon hadn't set yet.
“Look, Katherine-” Shubble glared at the person who spoke, making them shut up. Shubble knew that Katherine wasn’t finished speaking.
“We can do a search party and split into groups or trios or maybe even pairs.” Katherine suggested, everyone had no choice but to agree, if they didn’t then Shubble would’ve killed them to death by just glaring at them.
Oh, and the stars align every night~
“I can’t believe I'm paired with you.” Lizzie says while looking at Lauren, she didn’t try to hide her dislike towards the controller of the stars but nor did Lauren try to hide her growing hatred for the pink haired ocean controller.
The two girls walked around the oak forest with an uncomfortable silence between them. The two kept walking until they heard yelling, close to a flower field. The two colored haired girls walked to the direction of the yelling, it sounded like Katherine. Lauren pulled Lizzie closer to Katherine, the two girls could see Shubble beside Katherine while she yelled. Katherine yelled at two boys that were… Jimmy and Scott.
When Lizzie realized it was Jimmy, she quickly went out of hiding and proceeded to run towards them but not until Lauren pulled her back into hiding.
“Why’d you do that for?!” Lizzie exclaimed with anger again as she looked at Lauren with disbelief of what she just did.
“Don’t you want to know why Katherine’s yelling at them or how Shubble and Katherine found Jimmy and Scott so fast?” Lauren argued back which made Lizzie quiet but she made a small nod, agreeing with Lauren. Lauren sighed in relief when she saw Lizzie nod.
The girls walked closer, where they could hear what was happening but of course hidden from Katherine and Shubble’s vision since they were the ones facing where Lizzie and Lauren were hiding.
To spell out their love in tiny bright lights~
Oh, when the sun loves the moon~
“Hey, my Love, are you awake?” Jimmy asks Scott softly while looking at the purple haired boy who was laying on his chest.
Scott yawned, looking up at Jimmy with admiration, “Yeah, I’m awake, Sunflower. Also isn’t that new.” Scott tiredly teased Jimmy.
“What? What are you talking about?” Jimmy asked, pretending not to know what the shorter boy meant.
“I mean the pet name, you just called me. Like where did that come from?” Scott replied with a smile that Jimmy loves so much.
“Why? Do you not like it?” Jimmy says, playing with Scott’s newly dyed purple hair.
“No… I like it a-lot but I still hope you'll still call me Petal.” Scott says, laying his head on Jimmy’s chest again with a slight yawn.
“Of course, I’ll still call you Petal, my Love.” Jimmy confirms, looking at Scott’s purple hair while also playing with it.
“Ahem” the two boys heard, looking up, they saw Katherine and Shubble standing in front of them, “I thought you two would be here” Katherine sighs as Scott quickly gets off of Jimmy’s chest and sits on the ground while Jimmy also sat up from his laying position.
“I can’t believe you two!” Katherine yelled with anger as Shubble rubs her back, “I gave you both a deal and you guys broke it, I told you that I would keep your relationship a secret, if you guys weren’t going to get distracted from your job but you did for the third time and the last two times Shubble and I had to cover for you guys!” Katherine ranted to the two boys that were holding hands.
“Yeah, we know-” Jimmy said until he got interrupted by Katherine yelling again.
“Scott! Did you even know that you were supposed to set the moon back to the horizon five hours ago?!” Katherine asked, looking at Scott, who looked ashamed of himself for getting distracted from his job.
Scott shook his head to show that he didn’t know while Katherine kept yelling, “-And Jimmy! Did you even know that you were supposed to raise the sun back to the sky five hours ago?!” Katherine yelled at Jimmy while Jimmy also shook his head.
Katherine sighed from stress and frustration as she rubbed her temple with her thumb, “Your guys, little stunt made everyone five hours late for preparation for the new day!” Katherine said while she put her head on Shubble’s shoulder.
“I’m telling Lizzie and Lauren.” Katherine suddenly said, it was muffled but Scott and Jimmy could hear it loud and clear in their ears.
“W-wait! You can’t tell them! Please Katherine, don’t tell them!” Scott begged the raven haired girl that had a look of pity for the two boys. “R-right Jimmy, we can’t let Lizzie and Lauren know-”
“I think we should let them know…” Jimmy said, with a tinge of sorrow and regret in his voice.
“W-what?! Why?” Scott asked, shocked from what Jimmy had just said, tears were building up in the corner of his eyes. Scott knew what would happen if Lizzie and Lauren knew, they would have to break up, of course Jimmy didn’t know but the Sun and the Moon weren’t supposed to fall in love, if they did, then history will repeat. Darkness will take over the sky with the Moon and much more will happen, things will happen to the other controllers and the only way to practically fix this would be False, the controller of time and two new heirs for the controller of the Sun and for the controller of the Moon.
The two girls that were across the two boys who were sitting were also shock that Jimmy even agreed to the idea, then a question flew past Shubble’s mind, “Does he know about the sorrowful tale?” Shubble asked Scott before Jimmy could answer Scott’s pleas.
“No, he doesn’t-” Scott replied then got cut off by Lizzie yelling- no Lauren was the one who was yelling, Scott was shock once again but then fear and sadness overcame the shock, and he suddenly hugged Jimmy, saying a goodbye as he stood up from the ground and walked to Lauren, where Lauren hugged him and teleported them both to the palace of the stars and moon.
Jimmy looked dumbfounded when Scott said goodbye to him in the most saddest and sorrowful voice, he then looked at the wedded girls in front of him in which they returned a look of pity and sorrow then he looked at Lizzie who was shock, she was frozen in place until Jimmy stood up then anger bubbled up into her senses, she ran to Jimmy and glared at the two girls in front of them.

A summer’s ray~
The Moon sets as the Sun rises, the original time was still messed up, it was around noon yet it looked like it was dawn. Loud, angry shouts and yells were heard outside of the palace of the bright. Everyone went back to their place and to their duties when they heard Jimmy and Scott were found.
Jimmy zoned out for the time being of Lizzie’s angry shouts but then a word, no a sentence made him snap out of his thoughts “-your breaking up with him and I don’t care.”
“What?” Jimmy asked for confirmation to see if he was hearing what Lizzie said was right but then Lizzie sighed.
“You're breaking up with Scott and that’s finally.” Lizzie repeated, feeling pity for his brother. ‘Jimmy could’ve fallen in love with anyone else but he chose him… history’s going to repeat itself if they don’t break up.’
“No!” Jimmy argued, standing up, anger was lacing his words and was shown in his eyes.
“No, that’s finally, you're going to break up with him and you don’t have a say.” Lizzie said, trying to end the conversation, “You're also going to send him a letter, saying that you guys are going to break up.” Lizzie continued.
Jimmy just nodded, his whole world was collapsing, he had to break up with Scott, his first Love, his Petal, he had to break up with the one that made him the happiest person in the world. He had to break up with his everything. Tears welled in his eyes, quickly wiping them away, he stood up and exited the room but not before saying, “I’ll work on that letter right now..” a tear slipped when he said that.
Lizzie looked at the boy with regret and sorrow and pity. She saw how Jimmy was heartbroken when he heard that he had to break up with Scott, it pained her heart that it had to be like this. The Sun and Moon were never supposed to collide and if they did, it would just bring pain and destruction to the world and to the controllers.
A moonlit night that casts away~
Their love remains, their love remains~
It wasn’t his fault that he fell in love with the controller of the Sun. It wasn’t his fault that the controller of the Sun had such a pretty smile that would brighten up his day anytime he saw it. It wasn’t his fault that he loved playing with the controller of the Sun’s fluffy, golden, hair. It wasn’t his fault that the controller of the Sun was so understanding. It wasn’t his fault that the controller of the Sun was so comforting. It wasn’t his fault that the controller of the Sun was so amazing. It wasn’t his fault that he fell in love with someone he knew he couldn’t fall in love with.
Fate was so… saddening.
“Scott…” Lauren said while knocking on the white wooden door, “You have a letter, where do you want me to put it?” Lauren asked, not going inside the room to respect Scott’s privacy.
“Just slip it through the door, I’ll read it when the moon rises.” Scott said as Lauren slightly cracked the door open to slip the letter on the floor.
“It’s on the floor, Moonlight…” Lauren said, dwelling around a bit in front of Scott’s door until deciding to just leave the broken hearted boy alone.
The boy’s eyes didn’t go into shock when Lauren called him Moonlight, it just stayed numb but tears finally dropped down, then more tears until it went to full on sobbing. Scott cried and sobbed as he controlled the moon to rise, the moon was dull, it didn’t give any light like the night before where Scott was happy.
Scott’s pained sobs calmed down as he stood up and walked to where the letter was placed by Lauren. He took the letter, going back to sit on his bed before opening the letter.
Dear My Petal,
I’m sorry but we have to break up. I love you, I really do but Lizzie’s making me break up with you and I don’t know why but I want you to know that I will always love you, no matter what happens even if we're not together, I’ll always love you because your my Love, my Everything, My Petal…and Thank you, my Petal. You deserve the world.
Love your dearest Sunflower, Jimmy.
Scott threw the letter on his desk, and laid down on his bed, he couldn’t bring himself to cry, he just can’t believe that it actually happened, he knew it would happen but not this soon. He doesn’t know what he should feel. He doesn’t know what he’s feeling.
He feels sad but he also feels disbelief, and pain and anger towards the universe, towards fate, towards stupid fate, and towards history.

“Hi, my name’s JImmy. How about you?”
“My name’s Scott..”
“I think we're going to be good friends, My Petal, Scott.”
“Yeah.. I think we're going to be good friends. Jimmy”
