   ""The Petticoated Swashbucklers are a rock band formed in 2010 at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire of Southern California. Frontman Stede Bonnet founded the band. Its primary purpose is performing drag show and rock musical inspired rock operas. Their shows often have queer historical and fantasy inspired themes.
   They were a niche, little-known art rock band with a small cult following until they won the QAR Label's 2012 Battle of the Bands Competition and joined QAR co-owners Edward Teach and Israel "Izzy" Hands' band Blackbeard on the Revenge Tour (2012-2013).
   Teach joined the band as a co-frontman on their 2015 tour and makes surprise appearances at shows regularly."
