    Hyacinth Hemlock was taken from the 2020's after the massacre of her parents when she was just 13 years old. Being cursed into the Upside Down, and thus dragging her from her original time in Tennessee, to the 1980's. Trying to navigate through the trauma and figuring out what she was going to do with her life now, she has been entered into the Foster system and jumped around to many different families, finally landing in Hawkins, IN with the Mayfairs. Starcourt Mall is nearing it's end at the beginning of this story, the Russians already in the works underneath it. While taking her foster sister for some ice cream with Max and El/Jane, Steve Harrington takes a notice to her accidentally showing her scars from the upside down.
