AITA for questioning dubious historical storytelling?

A prominent actor recently posted in IAmA about his upcoming film, which contains numerous and egregious historical inaccuracies. I called him out on it, and he had no satisfactory answer to give me, but insisted I was “reading too much into it” and that “nobody cares about ancient history.” As a result, I wrote a very long blog post exposing the many issues with his film. This post has now had approximately 17 viewers and 2 likes on FaceBook. AITA for calling so much attention to his faults?

So there’s some backstory here. Basically what happened is that I did a ton of research for a project that I’m working on. I mean, I talked to a bunch of leading experts in the field and read a lot of books. Some were even in my second language, which is still a little hard for me to read. So safe to say I’m pretty well versed in this topic.

But there’s this one expert who disagrees with the widely accepted academic conclusions about the topic. And he just won’t. Shut. up. He has a whole blog about how I’m wrong and he’s right, and when I met with him to try and get him to chill, he just went on and on. It was the most annoying thing I’ve ever experienced, and if his voice wasn’t so low and sexy I probably would have punched him in his gorgeous face.

So he wouldn’t stop talking about how his interpretation is better than mine. I could tell he’d been thinking about it a lot and his arguments were pretty solid, so I did the only sane thing. I sucked his dick. That shut him up real good.

Now he’ll have to live with the knowledge that his arch nemesis and the guy who is definitely NOT WRONG about this issue made him cum. Suck it, professor.

tl;dr I got my revenge on this self-righteous asshole by sucking his dick

Last night I had what I believe is known as a “one night stand” with someone whom I had previously argued with over academic issues. After arguing with him over the internet, I was certain he was an odious and unintelligent person, but when we met he turned out to be charming, attractive, and very clever.

He was also extremely… forward in his attentions. His seduction technique was simply to grab at my crotch, but admittedly it did work. After sex, he passed out almost immediately. I believe it is because his job is very demanding, and he was probably exhausted by his current level of stress. He is very pretty when he is sleeping.

I can’t help but wonder if I did something wrong to make him leave so abruptly. And I would like advice about how to entice him to return.

Update: He just sent me a picture of his genitals. I am honestly not sure what to do.

It must be said that my quest started out well intentioned. A few days ago, I had what’s known colloquially as a “one night stand.” However, I found my partner very attractive, clever, and charming. Perhaps you could go so far as to say I was smitten with him.

Today I decided I would try to woo this enchanting individual. I purchased flowers based on what I know of his personality and brought them to his place of work, which happens to be a movie set. Once there, I was on my way to deliver the flowers when I happened upon a few actors in costume.

For context, this was a movie set during the Archon War era. The actors were dressed as soldiers in Morax’s army. However, their costumes contained several egregious errors including slight deviations in the style of buttons and the length of hemlines.

I set the flowers aside and politely informed them of their errors, pointing them to specific resources they could use to correct the issues. However, the object of my affections happened to walk by, and when he heard my lecture, he became very angry. He told me that my issues with the costumes were “minor” and “petty” and that I was “just doing this to get back at him.”

Before I could defend myself, or give him the flowers, he had security escort me off the set. I can only hope my next attempt to win his heart is more fruitful.

Keep pulling the same stupid fish

You know how sometimes you’re at a lake and there’s one big stupid golden koi swimming around and no matter how hard you try to hook something else that fish just keeps texting you?

And it’s a really pretty fish with nice eyes and a sexy voice but you’re just so sick of its bullshit so you want to catch literally anything else? I’ve been catching it over and over, and then I try to let it go but every time it just keeps coming back. It even tried to scare away the other fish that might want to get on my hook.

The worst thing is that I’m kind of starting to like it.

I dunno, guess I just needed to vent. Has this happened to anyone else?

I should start off by saying I’m asking this for a friend. Who is definitely not my highly public alter ego. So just remember that this is not actually for me.

Um, anyway. My friend met this historian, and even though their relationship was really rocky at first, the historian won him over with his wily charms. It doesn’t help that this guy has a really sexy voice, and his eyes are this piercing shade of gold, and he’s so smart about almost everything except relationships.

I mean, that’s what my friend says, anyway.

Basically, my friend wants to take this historian on the date of a lifetime. Like really blow his mind. But I have no idea what historians like. Any help?
