Ochako finds bringing Katsuki into her relationship with Izuku doesn't change much of anything other than their living arrangements. Even then, Katsuki crashes at theirs more often than not after patrolling with his hero partner. Instead of sleeping in their guest room—the future nursery—Katsuki now sleeps in their bed.
Their sleeping arrangements change every given night, depending on night shifts and just who ends up sandwiched in the middle. Ochako and Izuku openly love being in the middle, but not as much as they love squishing Katsuki between them while he pretends to hate it.
This morning is a rare morning, and Ochako wakes up alone. Izuku had an early shift, but Ochako frowns that Katsuki's not around for morning cuddles. Her pregnancy has made her more clingy, even barely three months into it. She pouts as she climbs out of bed, ready to make 'doe eyes'—as Katsuki calls them—at her partner for abandoning her.
The smell of breakfast changes her plans completely as Ochako sneaks into the kitchen to wrap her arms around Katsuki's waist as he cooks. “Mmm, I was ready to be annoyed you weren't still in bed for mandatory cuddles, but food is a good substitute,” she says as she nuzzles his back.
She can feel Katsuki snort as he rolls the tamagoyaki in the pan. “Food is always the way to your heart, Round Cheeks,” he points out, still easily moving around the kitchen with Ochako clinging to him like a limpet. “Got an early ultrasound appointment today, remember?”
Ochako's cheeks flush, because she had actually forgotten. “You're the best,” she mutters into his back.
“So you did forget,” Katsuki teases her as he turns around in her hug to kiss her forehead. “You're getting as bad as Izuku with the airheadedness, 'Chako.”
With a little 'hmph', Ochako lightly headbutts Katsuki's chest. “I resent that comparison,” she replies before pushing away. “Just because it's true doesn't mean you gotta say it. Now feed me.”
Katsuki rolls his eyes fondly as he dishes out breakfast.
Having an early morning shift means that Izuku manages to take an early lunch, since no one else wants to take their lunch at breakfast time. It works in his favor because he can surprise his partners by actually making a scheduled appointment for their baby.
Izuku makes it just in time, and when he reaches the exam room, the nurse lets him in without a fuss. “Ochako, Kacchan, I managed to get an early lunch break-”
Not early enough, since while Ochako is still on the table with her legs spread and a tube hidden under a paper gown for privacy, there's already an image on the scanner. His partners seem shocked by the turn of events as Izuku walks forward to see the image more closely.
“Ah, Midoriya-san,” Hitaka-sensei says as she greets him. “It's good to finally meet you.”
Izuku knows the words aren't malicious, but this is the doctor that used her fertility quirk to make this pregnancy possible, and Izuku has yet to meet her in person. “Good to meet you too, Hitaka-sensei,” he says before his eyebrows furrow. “I would have thought an ultrasound would be done by someone else? Is there something wrong?”
“Not at all! Don't worry,” she replies as she gestures to the machine. “I was called to consult since my quirk was used, and while not life threatening, this is a bit unusual.”
Katsuki snorts, and Izuku hears him mutter that it's a 'fucking understatement'. Smiling fondly, Izuku glances to see Ochako's reaction to everything. She just seems shell shocked as he catches her eyes, and Ochako just points to the image.
“Take a closer look, and sensei can explain what she means.”
Izuku does as he's told, but when he looks over the ultrasound image, confusion washes over his features. “The baby has two heads? A heteromorphic quirk? But that's-”
“-not it, dumbass,” Katsuki interrupts before Izuku can spiral any further.
Hitaki-sensei coughs to hide her laugh. “Bakugou-san is quite right. It's just two babies, Midoriya-san,” she explains as Izuku stares with wide eyes. “While that's not a strange occurrence, the fact is our equipment tells us there's not only two placentas, but they have two different fathers.”
Izuku almost stumbles at the news, but Katsuki steadies him. “I'm not infertile...?” he murmurs.
“No, it just seems that perhaps your...swimmers need some competition to get moving?” she jokes, and Izuku just stares while he can tell Katsuki and Ochako are trying not to laugh. “Uraraka-san, please don't move so much. You will dislodge the ultrasound device.”
Ochako's barely contained laughter dies out from being chastised. “Sorry, sensei,” she apologizes, making a face. “Can we... Are we done with the ultrasound now?”
“Ah, yes. Let's remove it. Sorry about the discomfort,” Hitaka-sensei says, and Izuku takes Ochako's hand for her to squeeze if she needs it as the device is removed. “I assume you would like three copies of the ultrasound image?”
Though not out to the public about their threeway relationship, Ochako had told them they needed her fertility doctor to be in the know about how conception happened, at least in a broad sense. That meant she needed to know that Katsuki was involved.
“That's right,” Izuku agrees as Ochako squeezes his hand followed by a sigh of relief.
It's not until later that night that the three of them get to process the news together. “Of course your sperm are fucking stupid, Izuku,” Katsuki states plainly after Izuku comes out of the shower.
Izuku crinkles his nose. “That's not fair!” he protests, then grins slyly. “Kacchan, you've always driven me to greater heights. Guess it makes sense it would happen here too!”
Katsuki looks unamused, and Ochako doesn't seem to be any happier. “Next time, keep your dick measuring contest out of my uterus, okay?” she asks them with a huff.
Izuku shares a look with Katsuki, and they can't help but start laughing. “Where else do you want us to put our dicks, Sweet Cheeks?” Katsuki asks with a filthy look her way.
Ochako rolls her eyes. “In each other at this rate, because this is ridiculous!” she exclaims before taking a deep breath in and out. “I'm not unhappy about twins. I'm so happy Izuku gets to be a biological father too, but this is going to make explaining things when they're born a bit harder, you know?”
That gives Katsuki pause as Izuku wraps an arm around Ochako's waist. “We'll figure it out together,” Izuku says with a smile. “Until then, we're going to need to rethink some things...”
“Double of all the baby supplies, more baby names, maybe a bigger place,” Katsuki lists then clicks his tongue. “We'll probably have to rely on our families a bit more than we would've with just one kid.”
“Our friends too,” Izuku points out, and Katsuki makes a face. “What? You don't trust our friends, Kacchan?”
“I ain't trusting my friends with a baby, let alone two,” Katsuki states firmly. “Maybe Ears. That's about it.”
Ochako scrunches her nose, but Katsuki can tell she's not in the mood to argue. “Okay, let's shelf that conversation for another day. They're not even born yet,” she points out before turning to give Katsuki her 'doe eyes'. “Dinner, please?”
Katsuki can tell from his peripheral vision that Izuku's trying not to laugh as Katsuki easily bends to Ochako's whims. “Fine, even though it's his turn,” he says, gesturing to Izuku who freezes as if caught with his hand in a cookie jar, “I'll cook. You've went through enough today with that-”
“Do not remind me of the ultrasound, Bakugou Katsuki!” Ochako interrupts, face flushed as she shoves him towards the kitchen. “But you're right, though. Sorry, Izuku, but I don't think I could stomach your cooking tonight.”
Pregnancy has made Ochako more brutally honest, and Katsuki's really into. He steals a kiss from Ochako before ruffling Izuku's hair roughly. As he heads to the kitchen, Katsuki can hear Izuku whining at Ochako about her blunt assessment of his lack of cooking skills. It brings a smile to his face as he starts to cook for his growing family.
