Work Text:
This wasn’t an arrangement you should be doing with someone from a rival organization, notorious for its status as the general trading company for the criminal underworld.
Yet here she was, sipping wine in a fancy penthouse in some expensive hotel that she would never have the cash for, giggling exuberantly with none other than Port Mafia Executive Ozaki Kouyou.
They met when she was on another one of her shopping trips, their first encounter being with hostility before Kouyou eventually made the fact that she wasn’t here to hurt her clear. After that, they went on a shopping spree together, Kouyou offering to pay for each one of her purchases.
“It’s the least I can do. After all, you take such good care of my dear Kyouka.” She comforts pleasantly, and Yosano took that to heart and made sure to buy all the things that she couldn’t buy with her own money.
And so, here she was, in the most expensive room of one of the most expensive hotels in Yokohama, drinking expensive red wine and chatting gleefully with an executive of the Armed Detective Agency’s greatest enemy.
“I never thought of you as a joker.” Yosano finally lets out with much restraint to keep her laughter in. The elegant woman in front of her only lightly chuckles, her light pink kimono sleeve covering her blood red lips. “And I never thought I’d see the day that someone would have a tolerance for alcohol as much as you have, yet here we are.” She replies sweetly.
Yosano settles now, her laughter gradually fading away. She picks up the wine bottle and pours more onto her glass, smirking all the while looking directly at Kouyou. “Who would’ve thought that mafia executives would be such good drinking company?”
“And I’d say the same. I definitely wasn’t expecting such a good looking doctor at the Armed Detective Agency.” Kouyou casually throws out, making Yosano spit out the wine she was drinking.
She looks at the spilled mess of crimson on the pure white floor, before looking back at Kouyou with a befuddled expression. “Excuse me?” She asks in a small voice, and before she knows it her cheeks start to color up.
Kouyo remains unbothered, but a soft and teasing smile dances on her lips. “Why do you seem surprised by a simple truth? You are very attractive, Doctor. I thought you’d know this by now.”
Yosano remains speechless, yet the pink in her cheeks that glow ever pinker speaks the words that she can’t find herself to say. Kouyou continued on, standing up from her seat and walking closer and closer to her as she spoke, “I always thought so, ever since that time you healed me back to health after the Guild ambushed both of our organizations.” She continues on, her eyes sparkling at the memory. “My eyes were trying to close, but I thought it be a good idea to see the famed doctor of the ADA work. It was a choice I would never regret.”
Yosano can only look at her with her mouth open. Kouyou chuckles lightly at the reaction, and only serves to continue on.
“The way you handled that chainsaw with such a need for violence, yet the way you handled my bloodied body with such gentle touches.” She sighs wistfully. Yosano doesn’t even realize that Kouyou is far gone from her seat, too entranced with her words that were as sweet as honey.
“I thought to myself, “What a beautiful flower of both violence and gentleness, a balance of both the darkest blacks and the purest of light.”” She declares breathlessly, and she’s already so close to Yosano, just standing in front of her while she sits in surprised silence.
Her hand, cold as ice meets Yosano’s chin, and she tilts it upwards gently, forcing her to face Kouyou.
The expensive red wine she just drank couldn’t even begin to compare to how intoxicating the painting of light pinks and rose reds that is called Kouyou’s eyes. But the way that she looked at her, with pure and absolute endearment, paired with something… something feral, animalistic, like she just wanted to devour Yosano here and there…
It was absolutely breathtaking.
And as if it wasn’t enough, Kouyou swiped her thumb onto a spot near her bottom lip, which she identified was a drop of the wine that she spit out. Those red hypnotizing eyes keep their gaze on her own as she brought that same thumb into her own lips, making a show of her licking the drop of red with her tongue.
Her breath hitched, and she felt that she could do this all day, drowning pleasantly in the crimson river within those eyes and the tension between them crushing her pleasurably.
However, she wasn’t going to go down without a fight.
She takes the same hand that Kouyou teased her with, gently bringing it to her own face. She looks at Kouyou, inspecting any sort of reaction. But, she remains composed, as if she wasn’t staring at her with so much unhidden devotion a minute ago.
That won’t do.
Yosano shouldn’t be the only one to be this flustered.
“You captured my eye as well, executive.” She breathes out, her warm breath fanning out to Kouyou’s cold fingertips. She doesn’t miss the small shiver the act elicits from the woman.
“I always thought you had lovely hands.” Yosano murmurs, not missing the way that Kouyou’s eyes widen with the quiet declaration. “The way you held your sword so gently, while delivering a strike that suggested anything but… it was nothing short of alluring.”
Slowly, she kisses every tip of her finger, all while maintaining eye contact with the woman standing in front of her. “The fact that I get to freely kiss the same hand that delivered such strikes…” Yosano continues with a whisper. She takes note of every small twitch of the eyebrows, every quirk of a lip and just absolutely everything that Kouyou has to offer. “It makes me feel so elated, to see you like this.” She says with a purr, and a sultry smile to pair along with it.
It’s absolutely addicting, seeing the small cracks form into the executive’s long worked facade.
And when she’s done kissing up every fingertip, she places her lips gently onto the palm of Kouyou’s hand, her eyes still closely inspecting every detail of Kouyou’s lovely face and her lips tugging into a sly smile. "But I think I'd feel even more elated if I saw you writhing beneath me."
And with that, the cold hand is tugged away from her, and Yosano looks up at Kouyou in search of an expression that shows discomfort in her actions.
Yet she only sees heavy lust within those dark reds, and she licks her lips at the desperation of Kouyou’s voice.
“I think that’s enough teasing, don’t you think,” She breathes in heavily. “Doctor?”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kouyou wakes up, with an organized side of the bed next to her. It’s as if there was no one there to begin with. She looks at the sheets, a feeling tugging into her heart. Why do I feel disappointed? She asks herself. I was never foreign to the feeling of loving someone and then them leaving abruptly.
But was it really love? A voice asks her. She definitely was as good of a fuck as you thought she was, but do you really think it was romantic love? Do you think that she even saw you in a way that wasn’t lust? The brief moment of light that you saw in Yosano was all you deserved. You are born in the darkness, never to reach the light. How foolish of you to even seek the light of love again-
“Ah, you’re awake.” A voice abruptly stops her thoughts, and she looks to the door to see Yosano leaning unto the ledge. “I asked for room service to send us the food here, since I couldn’t really wake you up.”
“Ah.” Kouyou blurts out, ever so eloquently. “I didn’t think you’d still be here.”
Yosano blinks and just snorts at that. “Do you want me gone then, Kouyou?”
“No!” The executive declares a little too loudly. “No.” She says a little more shyly, a tinge of red blooming into her ears. “Your company is something I much appreciate.”
Yosano lightly giggles at that, but there is no hint of malice in it, only innocent amusement. “I never thought that I’d get to see the Ozaki Kouyou this adorable.” She swings by Kouyou’s side, nipping slightly in her ear, as her voice goes lower, “I kind of want to go for another round just because of it.”
Now it was Kouyou’s turn to snort. “We’ve done way too many rounds during the night, and you still want more? ” She tsks, chiding her lightheartedly. “How greedy.” She shoots Yosano with a soft smile of her own, something that she barely gives to anyone.
The softness of the smile visibly catches Yosano off guard, and Kouyou wonders if she should let her guard this down to an enemy. Before more treacherous thoughts come lurking in, Yosano buries both hands to the sides of Kouyou’s head, softly, as if she was made of glass.
“Can I kiss you?” She breathes out, and Kouyou nods eagerly, before their lips crash together.
It wasn’t like their harsh kisses full of fervor and lust last night; this one was more soft and full of adoration that it almost makes Kouyou cry.
It’s full of bright light, the same light that she detested so much.
When their lips finally disconnect, it feels like a missing puzzle piece was taken away from her, like a part of herself was taken away along with Yosano’s light. Before she knew it, she placed her hand on Yosano’s, gripping it as if she was going to disappear in any second. The doctor looks at it for a minute, and then looks at Kouyou’s face. Whatever face she was making, it makes the doctor silently understand that, She needs this.
They sit in a comfortable silence, but Kouyou can only bite her lip before she inevitably asks something that can make her either keep or lose this feeling of light forever.
“Can we do this again?” She blurts out, waiting for the stinging feeling of rejection.
“Yes.” Yosano answers a little too breathlessly and a little too fast, but Kouyou thinks that makes it all the better. The fact that the doctor was so willing for another time of this, whatever this beautiful feeling was, makes the executive feel like she’s on cloud nine. Yosano, visibly notices how desperate she sounded, cleared her throat, “Yes, I had a very good time with you, so yeah, sure.” It came out a little stiffer than she hoped it to be, but whatever, she tried.
The executive can only laugh boisterously at how Yosano tried to cover it up, but also at how light this feeling was in her chest.
