“A risk… Of course! She never makes mistakes. Because she never takes any risks!” Gabriel laughed like a maniac, making Nathalie nervous.
“Now, I just need to use my powers to find someone upset about not being able to take risks to give them the power to force Ladybug to take risks!”
“Hold on!” Nathalie called out, “You can sense specific emotions?”
“Yes, did I forget to mention?”
“You mean all this time, you could have used your powers to find someone angry or upset for a specific reason to give them a specific power you need?”
“Yessssss…”
“So you could have looked for someone upset about being lied to to make another truth-telling akuma to find out who they are?
“Well…”
“Or someone who has lost something they need to give them the power to find anyone or anything, so they can track them to their homes?
“I suppose…”
“Or you could look for anyone who has a strong desire to defeat you, which would help you narrow down Ladybug and Chat Noir’s identities or, at the very least, their team's.”
“That’s… that’s brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that?”
“Why have you been wasting time just sending an akuma to any random person who is having a bad day?”
“I don’t know how to answer that.”
“And since you can find a specific emotion for any situation, why do we need helpers like Chloé and Lila?”
“You make a good point.”
Chloé and Lila were both at their homes planning for the next day when they both got a text on their phones.
You're fired.
“What the?!” They both said at the exact same moment.
“I’ll umm… just be going to try out your ideas, Nathalie.”
She sighed as Gabriel left with his head bowed.
