    Eddie tries to argue, to say it was all Buck and that he really didn’t do anything but Maddie cuts him off with a shake to her head and a swift, “No. You. You took care of him for so long, now I think it’s time that you let him take care of you.”
    Eddie wants to argue some more, but it strikes a chord within him, because he knows how much Buck pulls on him, pulls to let him in. How much Eddie tries to, but can’t. How they’re stuck in this… In-between. How he is. “I know it sounds crazy, but when I did my psychiatric rounds, lots of patients found after a change of scenery things helped, and- and I think you should go on that road trip with Buck, and find yourself, or whatever.”
