Summary
Eddie’s eyes snap to Buck’s who still looks up at the stars, a look of such wonder on his features. Every time he looks up, it looks to Eddie like he’s looking at the sky for the first time. It’s quite extraordinary. Buck is quite extraordinary. “I also travel, to other places. We share information.” Buck continues. “The government’s official account doesn’t always match up with what we see.”

Summary
Eddie tries to argue, to say it was all Buck and that he really didn’t do anything but Maddie cuts him off with a shake to her head and a swift, “No. You. You took care of him for so long, now I think it’s time that you let him take care of you.”
Eddie wants to argue some more, but it strikes a chord within him, because he knows how much Buck pulls on him, pulls to let him in. How much Eddie tries to, but can’t. How they’re stuck in this… In-between. How he is. “I know it sounds crazy, but when I did my psychiatric rounds, lots of patients found after a change of scenery things helped, and- and I think you should go on that road trip with Buck, and find yourself, or whatever.”Series
