Summary
Post-movie. Wayne and Roxanne just rescued Megamind from a research lab. Wayne moves into Evil Lair to be his bodyguard. Megamind is struggling with his feelings toward both Roxanne and Wayne. His antagonism toward Wayne is complicated by the fact that their respective species have a symbiotic relationship. If Megamind is going to thrive, he needs Wayne and needs him soon. This is a sequel to The Monster Within, but you don’t need to read that story first.
