Once upon a time.
There was an small village, a few miles north of Camelot, called Trensville. Home to everyone, including magical beings. Jim was just an normal, average teenager, helping his an overachieaving, single mom named Barbara. She was an nice lady, somewhere in her 40s. Jim started to take care of her when he was five years old, right after his father left for another girl. Since then, Jim grew more distant from his friends from the village-who turned out to be fake friends.He started to an closer bond with his mother. Everything was fine for five and a half years , until one day...
Something bad happened.
Their village was invaded by Charlotte.
It was one of the worst days, that had ever happened in Jim's life.
Jim was cursed. By no one other than Charlotte. Since Jim got cursed, he was on the run since then. He also lost hope in faith and stopped believing in luck. Jim lost everything. His sick, hardworking mother, his home, everything. Even the fortune, that the thiefs stole. The only thing that Jim owned that survived was, an book of curses and how to make natural cures that he got on his thirtheen birthday. There was no cure for his curse, because his curse was magical.
Jim didn't know, the curse would die, when Charlotte dies. He didn't know that yet. He only took the book, because Jim thought that it would be useful later. The boy also saw things differently than others did. As he walked 60 miles a day, Jimbo was just about to get closer to another kingdom in search for a cure and hopefully an shelter. That was, until the Camelot Guards arrested him and wanted to execute him just the next day, just because they thought he was an troll or an changeling. Actually, truth was Jim was an half troll. In reality, he wasn't going to do anything to them. Because Jim wasn't like the other trolls that attack and kill. He was more of an peaceful person. The guards would've executed him the next day, unless he agreed to become their weapon.
In reality Jim never wanted to be anyone's weapon. Despite how much Jim wanted to kill himself sometimes, he was afraid to die.
-I become your weapon to stop the Eldritch Queen, I won't be executed-Jim said
-Yes, you selfish brat!- Sir Luca yelled at him
-Wouldn't I die because of it?-Jim asked
-Yes, you'll die because of it. I wish you were dead-Sir Luca said
Jim didn't like the way how they treated him. The way how they treated him, reminded him of his bullies in his angsty teenager years, back when he was an human. Before Charlotte cursed him, before chaos accured in Trensville. Jim decided to stay quiet most of the time. The knights were so annoyed with the fact Jim was quiet most of the time, that they left Jim alone in an small cell.
After the knights left, Jim was left alone in a small cell. He was going to rot there till the end of his days. Unless he ran away, but the runaway wouldn't work out since he was in a cell with maximum high security. Life in the 12th century is brutal, isn't it? Jim had nothing else to eat, except for rotten apples. Trolls ate rotten fruit, but Jim didn't. He'd rather starve than eat rotten fruit. So he threw the food to other prisoners after the knights left.
How could he eat at a time like this? How could he? Then Jim felt that he was going to panic. He started shaking. As much as Jim wanted to breakdown, he couldn't. Because the other prisoners, who didn't have an brain would just laugh at him and call him names. Then he collapsed on the floor. Jim fainted, he was now unconcious for most of the time. But that didn't mean, Jim couldn't hear anything. He could.
-Such a weirdo-an changeling girl laughed at him
-Don't bother him, I'm sure he won't wake up this time!-Peter said
Jim didn't wake up. He was really pale, cold and really weak to wake up. He was sick, mentally sick. And this was the fourth panic attack alone this week. Normally before becoming an half troll, Jim didn't have panic attacks, nor trauma. Guess Jim would have to live with this, until Charlotte died. That would. But little did he know that becoming a human after a month would be way painful than turning into a half-troll. Or he won't turn into a human next month, since his execution was an day later.
Meanwhile at the Duke's room.
Matt, aka. the duke's servant was having an conversation about the troll the guards found, while they were on a mission.
-Your grace, I heard rumors that a troll is going to get executed tommorow. You should be careful tommorow, because Charlotte's going to be there.-Matt said
-And why the fuck am I supposed to be careful when a troll is getting executed? Camelot will be safe from magic's evils'-Toby exclaimed
-I don't think all trolls are bad. The one that's getting executed tommorow, he's different. He acts more humanlike-Matt said

Then why didn't he touch the rotten apples?-Matt asked
-You have got to be kidding me, Matthew. That's not possible. Trolls eat only rotten fruit, and humans. Maybe he's just some other kind of troll that humankind had no idea about. A serious threat-Toby said
-Oh really? See for yourself in the future-Matt shouted
-Matthew! What do you mean!-Toby yelled back
Toby demanded an explanation. He demanded answers from Matthew. His thoughts took over Toby.
"Matthew! I'm the duke, I have the right to know!"-Toby thought.
It was silent for an moment. Until Matthew, the duke's servant said something, that changed the prince's life.
-Did you know that the Eldrich Queen really turned the human boy to a half troll temporally. His name...it was Jim, wasn't it?-Matt said
-Didn't the guards say he faked it before? By the way how did you know? You weren't even allowed to know, unless..-Toby yelled, until he realised that Matthew wasn't Matthew.
He was the Eldritch Queen. Then Matt revealed his true identity. It was the Eldritch Queen.
-Guards! Catch her!-Toby yelled
The knights broke right into Tobias' chambers, but as they tried to catch the Eldrich Queen, she already killed two knights in one fucking second. It wasn't the first time, when Tobias saw another brutal death right in front of him. Karma's a bitch, wasn't it? Then he heard painful screams from his grandma's room. It was his Nana.
-Nana!!-Toby shouted,as he entered her room.
Nana was unconscious. He couldn't carry her to the medical room, since he was suppoused to find Jim. So he called the guards and ordered them to take her to the medical room. The guards came and took her in their arms. Then Toby realised he had to find the troll, before he escaped. When Tobias got there, he saw an awake Jim. The boy, who sat there was confused and didn't know what happened. He was very injured, also a bit hungry and very thin for an troll. The first thing Jim thought, after he woke up was:
"What happened?"
Jim tried to fix his hair multiple times, but failed. Then he looked around, and he saw the duke. He was afraid that he was going to kill him.
-Your grace! Please don't kill me!-Jim cried,as he tried to hide his face.
-Why would I want to kill you?-Toby asked
-Because I'm a cursed disaster-Jim said
-And I don't have a problem with it.-Toby said
-What's your name?-Toby asked
-My name's Jim.-Jim said
-My name's Tobias, but I prefer to be called Toby or Tubs-Toby said
-Hey Toby, I guess-Jim smiled at Toby

-I'm sorry I didn't believe you!-Toby cried, as he hugged the half troll.
Toby felt something. He felt an warm feeling towards Jim that he couldn't identify. Could he possibly be falling in love with an another species who is the same gender as him? Yes, he was falling in love with the boy even if it was really illegal to do such thing in the 12th. century. He continued to hug Jim. Jim liked it. Then they stopped.
-How do we stop her?-Jim asked
-I don't know, but I think the court psychician has the answer-Toby said
-Then we should get going-Jim said
-First, I'll have to fix your wounds. Can you walk?-Toby asked
-I'll try-Jim said
He stood up and took a few steps ahead. Then he tripped over an rock, but the duke catched him.
-Woah, Jimbo. Slow down. You could've gotten hurt, or worse.-Toby said
-Actually, your grace. I was already hurt-Jim asked him, as he showed the bleeding wound on his rib
-Jim... that's huge-Toby said, with an worried face
-Long story short, I got stabbed by an criminal-Jim said

Jim closed his eyes for a moment. He needed an moment to think.
-Jimbo are you awake or asleep?-Toby asked
-I'm awake and asleep at the same time-Jim said
-You're tired, aren't you?-Toby asked
-Yes, something like that. Haven't slept since I was 10-Jim muttered
-Did you have nightmares?-Toby asked
-If I fainted and fell, but normally I took care of my sick mum, till she died by you know who-Jim said, as he wiped away his tears and tried not to cry.
But he failed anyway since he was an sensitive boy.

-For me it's unluck, but for others, well it's luck I guess??-Jim said, with an depressing mood
Toby grabbed Jim in his arms and holded him.At first he thought Jim would probably be a little heavier, since trolls are heavy. But it was different, I guess. Jim was lighter a bit, and he was also skinny + only a few centimeters taller than him. (Btw Toby's 158 centimeters, while Jim's 171 centimeters{troll form}, all tho he used to be 166'-168' while human). (He'll still be 166'-168' as an human)
-Dude you're suprisingly lighter than I thought-Toby said
-I was just born different-Jim replied
-Okayy, cool-Toby said, as he carried him to his own chambers
Toby opened the door to his chambers, revealing Toby's room. It was huge. The room had an 12th century aeshtetic. The colors of the room were red. Right next to the quill, there was an very mini bin of ink + important documents.
-Nice room-Jim exclaimed
-Thanks-Toby said,as he placed an injured Jim on his bed.
-Can you take off your shirt?-Toby asked
-Why tho?-Jim asked
-I need to patch your stab wound and see if it's deep or not-Toby said

When Jim removed his shirt, it revealed a few old scars on his body, that remained from his childhood till this day. Jim always felt insecure about them, and this was the reason why Jim never

Toby grabbed an tissue and wetted it a lil' with some water with onions. (just pretend this is real in this mkay?)
-GAHH!-Jim cried
-It hurts, yes I know how it feels. I ended disinfecting the stab wound, and it isn't deep as I thought it would-Toby said
-So it's good news or bad?-Jim asked
-Of course it's good news, here let me bandage it-Toby said
Toby bandaged it.
-Change your bandages every 3-4 hours a day, after a week you can take it off-Toby said
Jim hapilly jumped on Toby.

-You're welcome, I guess...We have to go save the others-Toby said

Jim stood up. He grabbed his shirt and put it on. He also grabbed his hood and also put it on. After that the boys left the room. They first went to the court psychisian named Blinkious Gardigal.
(YES BLINKY'S AN HUMAN IN THIS AU, almost every troll is an human in this AU).
-Good afternoon your majesty, Jim. What's the matter?-Blinky asked
-Do you know how to identify a witch?-Jim asked

-Long story short, Charlotte happened-Toby said

The boys entered Blinkious's labaratory, that was also his house at the same time. Homelab? Get it now?. So Blinkious grabbed one of his books. ,,Witches and Wizards"-how to expose them.
-There's three kinds. First one is the good one, second one is the netrual one and the last one is the evil one. Who do you want to stop? -he asked
-We want to stop Charlotte-the boys said

The boys left Blinky's homelab. They went to the feast. Not that they entered inside yet, but they were going to.
-Jim we need to get you an disquise-Toby said
-I was actually planning on not entering because I would probably be dead by tomorrow if I entered. Plus I look uglier than I looked before-Jim said
-Jim!! You're not ugly! Half troll or Human, well I'm pretty sure It doesn't matter. By the way is your curse temporary or permanent?-Toby asked curiously
-I haven't even got an thought about it-Jim replied to Toby
Than a suspicious shadow appeared. It was Charlotte.

-And why should I do it? You're just an weak temporary half troll, that was going to be an permanent full troll! But no. You were strong enough to runaway! -She yelled at him, as she drew an scar on Elijah's cheek.
-Because you'll be executed-Toby said
Charlotte dropped Eli down.
-Oh and Jimmy Jam, if I die tomorrow...You'll be a human forever-She said
-And I'm pretty sure you're lying-Jim said, as he pour the orange juice on her.
Charlotte was burning, but wasn't dying yet.

After she disappeared, Toby's feelings for Jim just grew again. He was amazed by Jim and his badass words. He was just too stunned by Jim's existence.
-JIM THAT WAS AWESOME!!-Toby said, as he hugged Jim again.
Jim blushed a little.
-I used to take care of my sick mother, but that doesn't mean that I can't be badass too, you're majesty.-Jim replied, as he bowed to the prince.
-You don't have to bow before me you know?-Toby said
Jim stopped bowing. Then sire Elijah came.
-So I guess not all trolls are that evil, I guess-Eli said
Then the idiot guards that misspecied Jim before came. They were going to apologize.
-WE'RE SO SORRY!!!-they cried
-For what exactly, sires??-Jim asked
-For thinking you were a mistake-they cried
-I don't know if I should forgive you or not yet-Jim said

Sire Luca grabbed an knife.

Toby was shocked.
-DID YOU JUST THREATEN ME?!-Toby gasped
-Sheesh Dumbzalski, calm down. We just need to kill your precious new friend and we'll be satisfied-Sire.Blaise said
-You won't kill Jim and get away with this.-Toby threatened them back
-OMFG we need to go LUCA!-Blaise cried
-GUARDS ARREST THEM!-Toby yelled
The guards came. They took the idiot guards away + when Charlotte came, they also arrested her.
-YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS U MFS!!!-they shouted, as they got taken away by the guards, let fate decide what happens to them next. Hopefully they die cause they're so fucking annoying.
Toby went to Jim.
-Are you okay?-Toby asked
-I'm better now since those idiots are gone-Jim smiled
Hours later in Jim's new small house. Yes for the reward of being the prince's company and saving him from those idiots, they decided to make him the prince's new servant + they gave him an new small house. The small house was near the castle in Camelot. Inside, there was one bedroom with an comfortable bed, one bathroom with an sink and an tub I guess. Under his pillow on the bed, there was Jim's diary where at night after work Jim would write out his experiences + secrets that nobody knew. About important stuff or some sketches he did when he was also alone. For tonight, Jim and Toby had an sleepover since they knew eachother a bit. Not that they were close, but let's just say that happened. It was 5 AM. Toby woke up just because there was an execution of three non important people who did magic or did something bad.
-Sleep well Jimbo-Toby said, as he left the room quietly.
He was in a hood, so nobody could know who the fuck it was. He tried not to wake Jim up since he was making up for his long lost sleep. He didn't eat breakfast because he had to arrive at the execution. And since he was also related to the queen. Toby stood by his Nana, aka the queen and the both watched. Toby had an light smile on his face. The guards took Luca and Blaise. They were tied against a huge cross where they burned people. They were in tears.
-YOUR MAJESTIES!!! PLEASE! LET US FREE! -they cried
The guards took out the fire and let the executed burn for their crimes. Then the next guards took out an Charlotte who was powerless. She looked like she gave up. They plugged her hands with nails. Her hands were bleeding. They also burned her. Finally👏. And while the witch was dying, Jim was suffering by turning into a human. Hey who said that turning into a human isn't going to be painful?.
His skin got his old pale. He was in his old clothes before Charlotte cursed him into a half troll. He also got a few centimeters shorter than his half troll height. He was in his old height again. After the witch died, Jim didn't know what to do. He was happy to be a human again, but how the hell was he going to tell him.
Toby was coming in a few minutes to wake him up. He was human. He didn't know how would Toby react, but he'll obviously panic or be excited. Jim quickly put on his hood and left the room.
He ran as fast as he could, looking for a place to hide obviously. He was too tired of running. Jim knew that this would happen after isolating himself from the world for 5 years, unless if he had to buy groceries. He didn't expect that he was going to accidentally crash into Toby. Again. He tripped over a rock and fell right into Toby. His knee was bleeding.
-Stupid rock-Jim threw the rock to a trash bin.
Toby immediately recognized him, just because of the blue eyes and his voice. He was shocked.
-Jimbo?! You're human?! But how?-Toby panicked
-Tobes not that loud!-Jim said
A few minutes later, when they were at Toby's room:
-Sooo how long have you been human? Btw you look nice-Toby asked
-Since the execution of Charlotte, the part of Blinkious' book was right I guess-Jim said
-Tell me what was the part, now.-Toby said
-If one of the evil sorcerers dies, the cursed by them turn back to normal-Jim said
-Oh sorry for overreacting back then. Wanna hang with me tonight?-Toby asked
-I'd love to hang out-Jim said
While the boys watched the stars from Melissa's observation room, an new threat from chapter two just arrived in Camelot.
