Summary
Sasuke is tasked with bringing individuals of interest into the hands of his employer, but it doesn't go according to plan. Only able to save one person, he prays that Naruto Uzumaki can shed some light to end his involvement in the mission yet no one could foresee the progression of the assignment.
Slowly opening his eyes when the hand was removed, he thanked the man when he held the passenger door for him. His mind was a jumble as he waited for his savior to climb into the driver’s seat, trying to sort out what had happened.
“Can you tell me who you are?” Naruto asked again.
“Sasuke Uchiha with Interglobal Intelligence,” he replied, “I’ve been sent here because yours as well as a few of your associates’ lives are in danger.”
“Why did you save me?”
“You were the closest,” Sasuke answered, “We can’t afford to waste time though. I need to get you somewhere safe. I have a great many questions for you, Naruto Uzumaki.”
Swallowing the lump in his throat, Naruto wondered just how terrifying the nightmare that he had been plunged into would get.
