Maverick
Mav becomes Amelia's stepdad and loves it. He and Penny have a lavish wedding, complete with the daggers in attendance. Rooster unofficially adopts Amelia as his little sister, which she loves. She tells him her secrets, and he picks her up from her first house party at 18, drunk. She stays the night at his, only going back to Penny and Mav when she's not hungover.
Mav and Penny adopt a young child, Matthew, the year after they marry. At first, Amelia is upset and annoyed, but she grows to love him. Mav finally allows the navy to promote him to a three-star admiral, especially after his last mission (the uranium bombing)
They move into a bigger home not too far away from the bar, Penny not ready to give it up.
Amelia goes off to UCLA and Matthew (at his time) heads down the same path as Mav, with him and Rooster guiding him.
Mav retires at the ripe age of 70, and Penny does when she's 65. A few years later, Amelia welcomes her first of two children with her long-term partner. Matthew marries Hangman's daughter, another naval aviator, and they have four children together.
When Mav dies, he is buried next to Goose and across from Ice. Penny joins him four years later.

Rooster & Phoenix
Rooster eventually grew the balls to ask Phoenix out on a date, to which she said yes. He proposed to her three years later, and they married in the spring. When Phoenix fell pregnant with their first child, Rooster moved them closer to Mav, so if anything went wrong, or if they needed help, either he or Penny could be there.
Their son was born a month early, but he pulled through ok, and they named him Nicholas Trace-Bradshaw, in honour of his dad. Rooster became a stay-at-home dad, while Phoenix went to work in the navy, which he didn't mind. He knew she loved her job and worked the hardest out of them all to get where she was.
They had another child, a daughter, five years later. They called her Carolina, in tribute to both of their moms. Nat's was Caroline, and Bradley's was Carole. Rooster continued to stay at home while Phoenix went to work. They both followed their parent's paths. Nick went into air control and mechanics, while Carolina went into aviation.
Between the two, 6 grandchildren were brought into their lives. When they hit 16, Rooster went back into the navy, slowly following his wife up the ranks, who at this point, was a one-star admiral.
They retired at the same time when they hit 65 and chose to look after their grandchildren.
Rooster died a few months before Pheonix did, being buried next to his mom and dad, with Mav on the other side. Phoenix was buried on top of Rooster with their flags laid on top.

Hangman
Jake didn't settle down until he was 36 when he found a beautiful Texan woman, 6 years younger than he. They stayed in Miramar while Jake taught at Top Gun and went on deployments and postings abroad. Jake stayed a captain, much like Maverick did, for as long as possible, only moving up when his children hit school age.
His beautiful wife, Olivia, brought six healthy children into the world. Sienna, Maia, Chase, Lucy, Jaden and Ella-May. Sienna and Jaden followed into aviation, while Maia went into teaching, Chase grabbed a job in Nasa, Lucy became an actress, and Ella-May became a photographer. Sienna had four children with Maverick's adopted son, Matthew, Maia had 2 children, Chase had a son, Lucy had three daughters, and Jaden and Ella-May each had two other children.
When Jake retired, he moved back to Texas with Olivia, Jaden and Ella-May. He refused to be buried in the navy graveyard without Olivia, so they were buried in the cemetery next to it.

Bob
Bob began dating Pheonix's younger sister, Sasha, shortly after she married Rooster. He and Sasha, after many years of trying, had twins via IVF, Daniel and Lily. Bob moved into admin while his kids were young, and only went back into the navy when they were 10. Sasha continued flying commercially while Bob looked after them at home. He was deployed under mandatory orders when the kids were four, alongside Jake and Phoenix, both leaving their young children behind.
Bob lost Sasha to cancer when the kids were 20, burying her in the same cemetery as Jake would later be in. Bob remarried Elise but divorced when she was moving back to her home in Australia with her new beau. Daniel became a doctor, and Lily began working on music for movies. Out of the entire dagger squad, Bob's kids were the only ones who didn't follow in into the navy.
Daniel had three children with a nurse, and Lily had two sets of twins with an actor she'd worked with. Bob was reunited with Sasha five months after his 70th birthday.
