“Hey! Why not!” Steve says, and Eddie doesn’t even have to look to know he’s pouting.
“Because, doofus, you’ve said multiple times that you don’t want to play our nerdy little game!”
“Well… I mean, can I be part of the club but not play? Like a spectator? Cheer from the stands like you guys did tonight?”
“It’s not a spectator sport, Steve!” Eddie laughs at him, but honestly he’s considering it.
“Oh c’mon Eddie, he could be our cheerleader and wave pom poms!”
In which Eddie reluctantly attends a basketball game, phone calls are made, and Hop wonders why a certain van is parked on the side of the road late at night.
