Chapter Text
In the watery early-morning light, Alex takes a moment to admire his husband’s sleeping form. Henry’s blond hair is messed – some of it is flattened by the pillow and some parts are sticking straight up. Alex smiles to himself, remembering how he’d tugged at that hair the night before. He glances at the clock and his smile fades, realizing they should get started on the day. He hates to wake Henry, but their sisters (and Nora) are arriving in a few hours after their girls’ sleepover and they have things to do. He kisses Henry on the cheek. “Hey, sweetheart.”
