Dakota walked over to Vyncent, and William holding multiple blankets, a couple pillows, and some stuffed animals. "I got the stuff!" He smiled widely. William and Vyncent paused their conversation to look over. Dakota placed down the things, and he threw a blanket at both of them. And placed the pillows and a couple more blankets down so they could be comfortable looking at the stars. He smiled, and he handed out the stuffed animals to both of them. "I got these for us! Will, yours is a wolf, Vyn, I got you a rat, and I have a monkey for myself!"
"Wow, thanks Dakota." William smiled, looking at the wolf. "A bit hurt you didn't get me a second one." He said, and both of his friends laughed. Dakota finally sat down with them, he put his arm around William. "How you feeling?" He asked, wanting to check up on him after what happened. "I'm fine, I guess just cold right now." William shrugged. Dakota easily brought William closer, wrapping his arms around his waist and he gestured to Vyncent to join them. "We haven't done this for a bit." Dakota said. They all sat in silence for a moment, leaning against eachother, cuddling.
"Remember when we used to do this whenever we had the chance to?" Dakota spoke up, looking at William and then Vyncent. "Yeah, I remember." William nodded slowly. Vyncent nodded as well, and he leaned his head onto Dakota's red hair. "I think we picked the right night to continue." They all looked up at the sky slightly to look at the stars, there were no clouds at all. Just the moon and the stars. "We're never going to leave eachother.." Dakota said. He looked at William and Vyncent. "Promise me that." Both of them nodded. "As long as you promise to do the same." William chuckled.
"Of course! I would never leave you guys!" Dakota hugged them both a little tighter, but not too strong, still strong enough. Vyncent, and William both let out laughs, and soon Dakota joined them. The laughing settled down, and it was silent for a bit. The silence was nice though, staring at the sky of stars sometimes glancing at each other. They would crack some jokes, laugh, and smile.
William would have his head against Dakota's chest, and he listened to his quickened heart beat. Dakota held William, and leaned against Vyncent who was behind Dakota, his head on the shorter boys head and his arms around him. His tail swayed a bit, and even wrapped around the three of them at times. Dakota basically radiated warmth onto his two friends. The blankets, and pillows helped. So dispite it being a chilly night(and William having no body heat of his own) the Prime Defenders felt warm.
"Everything is so peaceful like this.." Vyncent said, a smile on his face. "Yeah.." Dakota nodded, "I'm glad we get to do this." He smiled widely. "We finally get some peace.." William said, leaning his head up slightly to look at them. "And I'm glad we do." He yawned, leaning his head back down and moving closer to Dakota. Dakota just looked at the stars again, as he nodded and smiled. Vyncent would yawn as well, and close his eyes. He started to feel pretty tired. Vyncent would be the first to fall asleep.
"Hey, Vynce- your tails in my face man." William said, looking up to try and see Vyncent. "I think he's asleep, Will." Dakota said looking down at the older boy. "Oh.." William nodded a bit, and he looked down. Dakota watched him, and he smirked a bit. "You wanted to kiss him, didn't you?" He asked. Williams eyes widend and he shot a look at the red-head. He looked embarrassed, but he wasn't blushing. "Wh-whaht no!" Dakota laughed a bit, quietly. He ruffled Williams hair. "I knew you wouldn't, but you probably wanted to."
William pulled his hood up, embarrassed. "Shut up, Dakota." He said. "Come on Will! I know that look you give him!" Dakota smiled, teasing William as he poked him a bit. William pulled the strings of his hoodie. "I'm going to sleep." He muttered. Dakota looked at William, and he nodded. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea." He said yawning. William pulled his hood down again, and grabbed some blankets from the side and pulled more onto them. "Goodnight Dak-" William was cut off by Dakota's snoring. He just let out a sigh and closed his eyes. Then they were all asleep.
They all looked very peaceful, and happy.
