“There isn’t,” Seungmin says with a surprising amount of confidence. “Alphas and omegas can fall in love with betas just fine. There is nothing missing there, and– and you are lovable as well, Hyunjin.”
Hyunjin’s heart stops and his breath hitches at Seungmin’s words, his heartbeat growing faster from the way Seungmin is looking at Hyunjin with so much sincerity and from the way his scent shows it as well. Hyunjin’s voice almost gives in as he asks, “How— how do you know?”
Seungmin’s fingers twitch on Hyunjin’s cheek and hesitancy flickers through his eyes before his hand slides off Hyunjin’s jaw. “I… I know because I am in love with a beta– with you. I am in love with you, Hyunjin.”
Or: on a roadtrip with their packmates, Hyunjin, a beta, is insecure about his feelings for his omega friend Seungmin. Seungmin shows him that they don't need to be alpha and omega to love each other.
