The clicking of the keyboard and mouse fills the room, in the darkness illuminated by the light being produced by the monitors a lone figure is illuminated.
Joonghyuk already started the stream, and now he is only checking on the last details, and as he does more and more viewers join.
BababaBrad: What he’s playing today?
Acarlotak: Omniscient reader.
Boteplateado: but arent wednesdays when he plays unlimited arena?
Manzanaverde: yes but omniscient had a new update
Kirororo: better playnow before he’s hit by spoilers
Joonghyuk makes sure everything is running smoothly, and he gets ready to play while taking little notice of the chat. Any other day he would read what they are writing while he can, but today he’s too focused on the monitor showing the game.
The loading screen appears, and he can feel his desperation growing as the loading bar advances slowly, to be expected after an update, but still annoying nonetheless.
Vasijarota: Is it me, or does the room looks to dark?
KuroNeko: O thanks the gods, I thought my screen was failing but you also see almost everything black
Akazaleftear: youre right, the room is almost black
Queenofnothing: The only light is the one of the monitor, he has the usual ones turned off
YellowRabbittt: none of his usual leds
Blackturtle: maybe theybroke, or they just no longer work?
Unluckybastard: All of them? Don’t think so.
Weiwuxiandidnothingwrong: yeah, but even if they didn’t work the light of the room is also off
The loading bar finally fills, and he loses no time in clicking the start button, “Thanks to everyone who has joined in.”
He’s not one of many words, but still thanking his viewers is a habit that he refuses to lose.
“Just a reminder that I’ll be playing the new update so if you don’t want to get spoiled please leave right now and later watch the video on my channel. I don’t want angry people screaming about spoilers on my comments.”

Difficultandhard: Yes he did.
Ignorant of the comments Joonghyuk used the few seconds that he had before the game started to close his eyes and try to get his headache to go away. Only having the light of the monitors helped and so he wasn’t going to turn on the other ones, but as the game loaded and the music started the headache intensified.
It was just his luck that the new update dropped earlier than what it had been originally announced and that it was on the same day in which he was battling and losing to a cold that one of the kids passed to him, but there was nothing that was going to stop him from playing the update before he got spoiled.
The game completely loaded and swallowing a groan he opened his eyes once again, even with the little light in the room they burned and made his headache worse but he tried his best to ignore it and started to play.
But his growing headache and soon other symptoms that showed were proving to be harder and harder to ignore and get over.
The music and the characters’ voices felt like nails scrapping against a chalkboard, and the complication of some of the missions and the effort that they required to be completed asked too much to his currently tired and unfocused mind.
There was a point in which he was unable to calculate the distance required for a jump and he could do nothing as he saw his character fall to his death, while he waited for the level to restart he moved his eyes and say that his stream was barely over one hour.
The only thing that he had seen related to the update was that the principal mission alone was almost 7 hours long, so he was nowhere near completing it, there was no way that he was finishing the stream yet.
His character reappeared on the screen and he began to play once again, frustration growing and growing at his now less than stellar playing.

In front of him the screen was almost blurry, his eyes now unable to even focus on it, there were some occasions in which his arms grew weak, and pressing down the keyboard and mouse was made almost impossible.
As once again the ‘You Died’ screen appeared, he could feel his anger growing, but the feeling was quick to die, his weak state not even allowing him to feel other things for too long that weren’t his sickness or tiredness.
While waiting for the level to reset he’s unable to hear the moment someone arrives, and then the ‘I’m home’ shout that follows.
He’s about to hit the play again button when the door is violently open.
“Yoo Joonghyuk!”
Standing at the entrance, anger clear on his face, and with the kids peeking out from behind him Dokja stands.
“What. Do. You. Think. You. Are. Doing?!”

The next few seconds of footage in which Kim Dokja comes to drag Joonghyuk away, and then comes back to end the stream are quick to trend and are put on a million of different compilations, and reuploaded to different platforms.
