It was almost nightfall. They had to be quick.
Techno watches from afar as Wilbur and Phil try to get it working, leaning against the car with his arms crossed.
There’s a muffled “Techno, Techno, Techno!” From inside the car—it must be Tommy, the tapping on the car window only gets louder as he refuses to look back.
He should probably see what the kid wants but he doesn’t really want to.
Another muffled “Technooo!” comes from inside.
Fine.
He sighs and unlocks the door, slamming it as soon as he gets in, “You doing alright kid?”
Tommy huffs, “No, I’m not. This is taking so loong!” The kid drawls, throwing his arms over the seat dramatically.
