Chapter Text
It was a Friday afternoon at the MegaPizzaplex. The five animatronics Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Monty, and Roxy all approached their stage to perform in front of hundreds of fans. They all loved their job of entertaining guests. However, one was more nervous han the others, that being Roxy. This was her first time performing with the rest of the band out in the Atrium. She used to only do small shows in her own area, Roxy Raceway. Now though, there were so many more people to entertain. She felt excited, but also anxious. Nobody knew why, but Fazbear Entertainment decided to give her very low self esteem because they wanted to make a character people could relate to. This made her very nervous to perform, especially with the enormous amount of fans compared to what she normally dealt with.
Roxy walked forth onto the stage, along with her fellow bandmates. She felt like she didn’t really belong with them, though. She had only just become part of the band very recently. Everyone else had been on the big stage for a while now, especially Freddy, Chica, and Foxy. Even Monty, who, like Roxy, got moved over from his own side attraction only somewhat earlier than Roxy, still had a lot more experience than her. The other Glamrocks knew about her insecurities and low self esteem, but they didn’t know how high of a level it was. Sure, some of the band tried to comfort her from time to time, but it didn’t really help her. One time, Roxy overheard Chica talking to Freddy about her.
“I don’t know Freddy. She might not be able to handle performing with us. I mean, did you hear how she was crying in her green room last night? What if her emotions get the better of her while she’s on stage?” Chica explained. “I know what you mean Chica, but come on, we should at least give her a chance.” said Freddy. “But what if everyone sees her break down onstage? What if Fazbear Entertainment decides to scrap her? What if she ends up like Bonnie?” Freddy paused, and looked down at the floor. “Sorry, I just-” “No, it’s ok. I just… miss him. A lot.” Roxy didn’t know who this “Bonnie” guy was, but she still understood what they were saying about Fazbear Entertainment scrapping her.
Monty and Roxy didn’t like each other very much, and got into fights very commonly. They would never actually physically harm each other, but that still didn’t mean that everything was all sunshine and rainbows.
Back on the stage, Roxy and the gang were preparing for the platform to escalate them up to the Atrium. A sudden wave of anxiety hit . Was she prepared to do this? Did she really have the confidence to perform in front of so many people? What if she messed up? What would everyone think? What if- “Don't be scared little puppy dog.” Monty taunted. Roxy just now realized that she was visibly shaking, her hands and legs trembling. “Shut up, before I turn you into a gatorskin purse!” “Really? Cause it looks like you can barely stand on your own two legs!” Monty cackled. Roxy growled. “Oh yeah? Well atleast I don’t-” “Please, both of you, calm down!” Freddy cut in. He was usually the one to break up their arguments, which happened all the time.
The stage finally reached the Atrium, and they were met by bright lights, sounds, and an ocean of excited fans, ready to see the gang’s latest show. Roxy quickly started playing her keytar, desperate to prove her worth, not just to the crowd and to her bandmates, but also to herself.
Halfway through her performance, Roxy felt that something was terribly wrong. It was almost like her systems were warning her about something. But, about what? That, she had no clue of. There was some outside force trying to infiltrate her code. Roxy’s vision started glitching out and she started to malfunction. Roxy looked to her bandmates to see if they were experiencing the same things, but they looked fine. It even seemed as if they didn’t care, or even notice, that Roxy was writhing in pain.
Roxy dropped her keytar and fell to her knees, with this new outside force trying to take control of her. A notification popped up on her screen.
*System error, rebooting shorty*
Just before Roxy completely shut down, she saw another notification. It was a threat warning about a… small… child? Surely that couldn’t be right. A normal kid definitely couldn’t warrant themselves as a threat. She barely had any time to process this new information though, when she lost control of herself. That thing that was trying to access her systems, finally got in. She had a sudden urge to kill. Specifically the child that showed up on her screen.
Fortunately for Roxy, the system reboot finally kicked in, and managed to cleanse whatever was controlling her from her code. Unfortunately for Roxy, she was shutting down during her first big concert. Just before she completely powered down, a weird image of some sort of purple rabbit popped up on her screen. Then, her vision went dark.
