He felt like crap. Surrounded by sheets, and tons of tissues, Langa wondered when he would be put out of his misery. He closed his eyes, wishing that once he woke up, he would feel better.
“Here, sleeping beauty,” Reki said. “I made you some hot chocolate.”
Langa smiled, and opened his eyes.
“You didn’t have to.” He took a zip, and then, another, and another.
Reki sat on the bed, and placed a hand over one of his knees.
“I think you liked it, huh?”
Langa nodded, before putting the cup down. “Thank you, Reki. Not only for the hot chocolate, but—”
“Stop. You would do the same, so it’s fine.” Reki got up, to make sure the pillows were in the right place.
“Sorry about everything. I know you are busy, and I just fell sick, and you have to sleep on the couch—”
Reki put his hand on Langa’s forehead. “Nope, you don’t have a fever.”
“Can you listen to me, Reki?” Langa frowned. He already felt horrible.
Reki took a deep breath, before kissing Langa on his forehead. “I’m telling you that everything is fine. I’m not here only for the good times, okay?” He said as he grabbed Langa’s hand.
“I just missed having you in bed with me, you know.” Langa admitted, while he stared at the floor.
“Well, you owe me a lot of cuddles, and I’ll make you pay once you are feeling better,” Reki promised.
Sleep, his body needed more sleep, and so Langa began closing his eyes.
“Cuddles, that sounds awesome, Reki.” And with a smile on his face, he finally fell asleep.
