The kettle whistled loudly startling you. You remembered it was Friday, so you at least had the weekend to figure this out. You grabbed the two mugs and the fresh tea leaves and poured a cup for you and Levi. Right on cue, he walked out of the bathroom. He sat down at the island in the kitchen.
“I hope you're feeling better, do you think we can talk about what happened now?” You said sitting on the stool across from him. The look on your face told him you desperately needed answers. Something was scaring you, and he’d be lying if he said he wasn't a little scared too. He doesn't know why he decided to trust you, maybe it was the warm bath or the familiar cup of tea. Despite the events of tonight, right here, in your little home, he felt safe.
