Chapter Text
Never let it be said that Tommy was innocent. When you’re a part of the most feared mafia in the world and gain knowledge of it then you’re innocence disappears. Tommy knew he wasn’t supposed to know until he was older but he was a curious child at the time sue him.
Of course when you watch your dad put a bullet in some ones head then you start questioning somethings. When you watch your oldest brother slit someone’s throat you realize maybe something bigger is happening. When you watch your brother break bones like it’s nothing and beat a person within an inch of their life and then tell them it’s a warning and not to mess with the Syndicate only for said brother to play the youngest a lullaby on his guitar then you know something is up.
Tommy probably should’ve freaked out like any normal 10 year old but he wasn’t normal so the first thing he did was call one of his best friends and telling him to come over. He did the same for the other three and soon all five of them were huddled up in his room.
Now when a typical group of friends get together it’s to have fun but this particular group all had their strengths and were a forced to be reckoned with. They didn’t know it but at the time but they were already getting eyed by various organizations and less than legal groups the only reason they weren’t scooped up was because they were all in Syndicate territory.
“Hello gang so I have witnessed some what should be traumatizing to people which solidifies the something is wrong with my brain.” Tommy said “Well considering the fact that you’re wicked smart I don’t think you’ve ever been normal.” Tubbo said getting nods from the rest of their friends.
“Ok besides that who here knows what the Syndicate is?” Tommy asked letting out a frustrated groan when they all shook their heads. “Ok Tubbo see if you can find anything online make sure no one would be able to trace it back here, Ranboo make sure he takes care of himself because we all know how he is. Purpled and Drista your with me to go get snacks and some entertainment.” Tommy said everyone going to their task seamlessly. When you’re all to smart for your own good and spend some time every few months taking down corrupt organizations then you get use to stuff.
It turns out finding out about the Syndicate wasn’t that hard at all. When Tubbo relayed the bundle of information he found in the few minutes it took to get the things they thought they would need. “So the Syndicate is a mafia led by who people have dubbed the Angel of Death along with his sons The Blade and Siren. They are the most powerful mafia in the country and one of the most powerful in the world. Making it out of an encounter with one of the leaders alive is a very low and only 1 in about 100 people do. It’s rumored that the Angel has another son who is either to young to know or doesn’t want be apart of the mafia. The youngest is said to be a practical replica of his father. Anyone who has tried to take the youngest or any of his friends were dead before they could get within 50 feet of them.” Tubbo said “I didn’t even have to dig to find all this it’s just there.” which was Tubbo speak for it’s on the dark web and should be at least somewhat protected but isn’t.
“Wow Tommy turns out your some mafia prince how do you feel.” Drista said earning laughed from everyone. Ranboo cleared his throat causing everyone to look over to him “So now that we have the info Tommy would you mind telling us what you saw that caused this.” Ranboo said everyone else nodding. They had all forgotten that this wasn’t an easy organization take down but a legit case and one of their friends had seen somethings he wasn’t suppose to.
“Well if you simply must know my dad shot a guy Tech slit a mans throat and Wil broke someone’s bones and beat them almost to death. Saying it was some sort of warning. Not sure if the guy is still alive or not but if that’s the warning it’s no wonder people don’t make it out of the encounter alive.” Tommy said looking around he saw everyone's shocked faces. “Tommy I think you’re right. Your brain is messed up.” Purpled said when Tommy looked over and saw his face and busted out into laughter.
That night was a sleepover not only to monitor his family but was also his friend’s way of making sure he was ok.
