âMy head aches so muchâŠ.â
Fwhip opened his tired eyes as he awakened from his slumber. He was standing horribly still and desperately wanted to stretch his aching muscles. He felt like he hadnât moved in thousands of years. He felt painful indeed.
Fwhip then noticed that voice he heard. He quickly turned to the side to see Sausage standing beside him all dressed in white and holding his head. Fwhip gasped as he tried to move but felt himself unable to do so. âSausage!â He shouted his first word in what felt like forever. Ack. He was thirsty for sure he could hear it in his voice.
Sausage blinked and looked to Fwhip and raised his brows. âFwhip!â
âWaitâŠ.why are you two hereâŠ.?â The two turned to see Gem standing nearby also clothed in white and unable to move. Fwhip shook his head in disbelief as he saw his beloved family. That is when he heard other voices and turned to see familiar faces. Scott, Katherine, Lizzie, Joel, Joey, Jimmy, Pixl, and Shelby. All where there. Fwhip couldnât help but smiling in a confused way.
âWhat?â
âHey!â
âWow!â
ââŠ.How are you all here?â Fwhip asked. Everyone stopped as they realized this. The last time they had seen each other they were allâŠ.dying. Lizzie turned to Jimmy who stood extremely nearby and gave him a bear hug as best as she could without moving her feet.
âWhy did you do that to me?! I missed you for so longâŠâ Lizzie mourned as she held her baby brother whom died prematurely due to the circumstances.
They all were dead.
Each and every one of them.
Gem had watched them all die off one by one until it was just her and Scott. Then Scott had suddenly passed leaving her all alone. She saw her brother and Sausage and wanted to cry. For years she hadnât seen or heard of them because of theyâre deaths. It caused Gem grief beyond belief and this sight was the worst for her then all the others.
âWhat are we all doing here? We died!â Jimmy stated the obvious. Joel on the other hand was looking at his attire and gagged. âWhy are we wearing white dresses?â
âWhat is going on here?!â
âAre we ghosts?â
âI wanna go home!â
âEveryone calm down!â
Everyone turned to see Lizzie standing tall and straight. She cleared her throat and placed her hands onto her hips. âLook at where we are. She stated pointing at theyâre surroundings. They were by a palace of some sort. Taller than the cloudsâŠ.cloudsâŠ.they looked onto the ground and saw that they were literally standing on the clouds in the sky.
âWhat-?â Jimmy shouted unable to comprehend this. âHow-?â
âLizzie is right. We must focus. First, is everyone here?â Gem asked not letting the strange environment get in the way. Pixl began to count everyone to check and make sure none were missing but as he murmured to word eleven, Scott and Sausage begin to loose it.
âWhere is Pearl? Where is she? Pearl! Pearl!â Sausage panicked and tried to move once more to no prevail. He was breathing quite quickly and his face was turning redder than lava. No one could reach him giving Fwhip and Gem a horrible time trying to calm him down.
âShhhâŠ.Sausage itâs okay, calm down.â Gem soothed. âSheâs here. Surely.â
âBut where!â
âSausage, Pearl is probably justâŠâŠdonât know. Maybe sheâs ahead of us or something and found a way out of thisâŠ.place.â Fwhip replied trying to stay logical so he wouldnât panic.
Scott stayed silent as he tried to find another that was missing. It wasnât until Katherine turned to him that emotion overwhelmed him. He hid his face in his hands trying to calm down as well.
âWhereâs Scottâs brother?â Katherine asked in a scared voice realizing why Scott was hurting. Everyone then saw this and more panic was initiated. Where was the demon whom had turned from causing havoc to being one of the most selfless of the rulers?
Where was the one called Xornoth?
âGreat! Where is my babycakes!â Joey cried nervously. Although Xornoth had declined Joeyâs love much after he became a normal human they still were very close. And Joey had wellâŠ.never stopped with the pet names.
Joey bit his nails as he took Xornothâs disappearance worse then Scott. Pixl calmed everyone down after some time and soon the most quiet were able to speak. Besides Scott who was hurting obviously. âWhat are we going to do?â Lizzie asked in a curious voice.
âWell letâs think a moment shall we?â Pixl stated. âWe are all on a cloud or something, and all around us is white besides that strange palace. We cannot move and two of us are missing. Anyone have any thoughts?â
âYeah! Are we in heaven or something? If so I do not want to be stuck with you guys for the rest of existence.â Shelby crossed her arms.
âI highly doubt that. I suppose it is possible, Gem, do you have any clue? You are a wizard after all, surely you know something.â Pixl stated trying to understand what was going on.
âIâŠaccording to my memoryâŠ.when I was on my deathbed, I seem to recall there being voices that I had never have heard before. They-if I remember, echoed the words đ°đŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶đł đ”đȘđźđŠ đžđȘđđ đ€đ°đźđŠ. đđŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶ đžđȘđđ đłđȘđŽđŠ đąđšđąđȘđŻ. đđŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶ đžđȘđđ đłđŠđ¶đŻđȘđ”đŠâŠâ or something like that. I died before I could even think of the wordsâŠ.but my soul seemed to, just-go to sleep. Thatâs all I know.â Gem answered.
âThis seems unnatural,â Joel placed his hand onto his chin. đ°đŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶đł đ”đȘđźđŠ đžđȘđđ đ€đ°đźđŠ. đđŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶ đžđȘđđ đłđȘđŽđŠ đąđšđąđȘđŻ. đđŻđŠ đ„đąđș đșđ°đ¶ đžđȘđđ đłđŠđ¶đŻđȘđ”đŠâ those words. What do they mean?â He asked.
âI believe, the voice must have been telling Gem, that even though her life was over, she would one day rise again. And reunite with her family and friends.â Scott placed his two sense into the conversation.
âIâm afraid that is all we know. And will know. If this is heaven of some sorts thenâŠwhy isnât Pearl or Xornoth here?â Lizzie added. There was a murmur of agreements when Jimmy then asked something. âWhy is it just us? Why arenât our parents and other people here? Look around, itâs just us.â
âI have a feeling thatâŠ.we arenât the only ones here Jimmy, I sense something.â Gem started. Before anyone could respond a voice echoed into their ears. They wince as a white orb appeared out of nowhere before them. It shined brightly as it floated. Itâs just-a orb.
âđȘđČđčđ°đŒđșđČ đ±đČđźđż đłđżđ¶đČđ»đ±đ. đ đ”đźđđČ đŻđČđČđ» đźđđźđ¶đđ¶đ»đŽ đłđŒđż đđŒđ đđŒ đđđŻđșđČđżđŽđČ đłđżđŒđș đđŒđđż đđčđđșđŻđČđż.â The orb called out.
âWhat the? Who are you!?â Fwhip yelled trying to move his aching legs. Unfortunately he still couldnât.

The rulers looked at one and other in confusion when Gem spoke then. âWhat do you want from us?â She asked trying to stay polite considering theyâre predicament. Sausage however blew the manners as he impulsively cried out. âWhereâs Pearl and Xornoth!â
A chuckle escaped the one called the Watcher and it became still once again. âđ§đ”đČ đŒđ»đČđ đ»đźđșđČđ± đŁđČđźđżđčđČđđ°đČđ»đ đźđ»đ± đ«đŒđżđ»đŒđđ” đźđżđČâŠđœđżđČđŒđ°đ°đđœđ¶đČđ± đźđ đđ”đČ đșđŒđșđČđ»đ đźđ»đ± đđ¶đčđč đŻđČ đłđŒđż đŸđđ¶đđČ đź đđ”đ¶đčđČ. đ§đ”đ¶đ đ¶đ đ»đŒđ đźđŻđŒđđ đđ”đČđș đđ”đŒđđŽđ”, đđ”đ¶đ đ¶đ đźđŻđŒđđ đđ”đźđ đ đ”đźđđČ đ°đźđčđčđČđ± đđŒđ đłđżđŒđș đđ”đČ đ±đČđźđ± đłđŒđż.â

Fwhip opened his eyes to see that he was in a grassy plain full of flowers and plants. Fwhip blinked as his eyes adjusted. What he saw caused him to gasp.
Mist appeared from out of nowhere. All around him different colors formed causing Fwhip to looked into the mist. He tilted his head as it spun around creating a strange vision. Though it was blurry Fwhip could quickly tell what it was. A image of a young humanoid like being sitting on a dark wooded chair with a desk in front of him. The desk had a burning candle placed on it and stacks of papers and books scattered across it. Fwhip squinted his eyes closed and noticed a gloved hand writing something. Then he saw the creature. It had large ears that pointed backwards and a tall body. Itâs nails a considerable length compared to that of his. The hair was ginger red and medium length. The eyes of the creature were a purplish blue that gave it a mysterious look. The most distinctive feature of this creature was its skin. A olive green color that stood out quite easily. The creature was clothed in blue and red rich fabrics that looked like royalty of some sort. That is when Fwhip realized what the creature was. A goblin.
Fwhip shouted in shock. What was a goblin doing here?! Was he the creature? Was this what his soul became? A disgusting cave beast that scared even the most brave? Fwhip couldnât take it. There was no way he, a human could ever be such a creature. There just couldnât be.
âI refuse to be a goblin. I am a human!â Fwhip growled yelling into the mist. Then he quieted down suddenly as he saw the goblin in the picture greet another one of the green beings whom entered the room. The other goblin bowed humbly at the main one and placed down a cup with green liquid in it. The goblin smiled and bowed once again leaving the main creature alone. Then he grasped the cup and took a long sip.
The sip that never ended.
The goblin looked so pleased once he finished the drink and smiled happily as he continued his work. But then-thatâs when danger struck.
In a matter of minutes the goblin began to pale and cough. He placed his claws upon his head as he moaned in apparent pain. Fwhip gasped as he saw what happened next. A much graphic scene broke out one that caused Fwhip to gasp in shock.
The goblin began to have tears pour down his face as he coughed large amounts of dark blood out of his mouth. Fwhip winced as he saw the maroon liquid paint the goblinâs face. âSomeone help him!â Fwhip cried as he watched the goblin fall onto the floor with the candle falling onto the desk creating a fire as the goblin laid on the ground in pain. What Fwhip saw scarred him forever.
The flames flickered in his eyes as he heard the beastâs cries fill his ears. The poor goblin vomited blood and pure liquid as flames licked his skin. Fwhip saw the goblin fall as he soon stopped moving as death consumed him.
The goblin was dead.

The Watcher explained all of this to the man whom listened carefully to his words. Fwhip thought silently before turning to the entity. âIf I choose to live as him. Will I ever be able to be me? âYou gotta be kidding me.â Fwhip muttered as he then looked around where he was. It was a tiny study full of books and papers everywhere. The light was dim and it appeared to have no windows. Meaning that he couldnât see where he was. Spider webs covered the corners of the room making Fwhip shudder a bit. He noticed a single candle burning on the desk in which he sat and that is when he realized where he was.
đâđźâŠ..đȘđŻâŠ.đ”đ©đŠ đłđ°đ°đź đžđ©đŠđłđŠ đ”đ©đąđ” đšđ°đŁđđȘđŻ đŁđ°đș đ„đȘđŠđ„⊠He shuddered to himself as the image of the corpse filled his mind once again. WellâŠwhere I died I suppose. He sighed then and looked at his papers located below him laying carelessly on the desk.
All had names of things he hardly knew. Some had extreme odd names. âđđđ đđ€đđĄđđŁ đđđ„đ§đđšđš.â Or âđđđđ đĄđ đđđ§đąđš đđđ„đĄđ€đđđš đđŁ đđđĄđȘđâ just plain weird names. Fwhip sighed to himself as he read these titles. They sure werenât like the ones back home.
Home.
Oh how he missed it.
The Grimlands. Was it still around? Did it get destroyed? Fwhipâs heart ached horribly as he thought of his home. It must have been so long since he saw it. So many years had came and gone. Time didnât wait for him. He died while the Grimlands prospered. Knowing that he was forced to leave his home behindâŠ.well it hurt to say the least.
Fwhip was brought back into reality when he heard a knock on the wooden door. He cleared his voice and finally mustered his strength and did his best not to stutter. âCome in.â He tried to speak in a polite tone. He felt anxiety fill him as he saw one of his ânewâ own kind enter the room.
A small goblin peaked his head in before walking entirely inside the study. He had such a skinny and tiny body. He was so little. Hardly even half of Fwhipâs height. It was strange. At first the skin of the goblin struck Fwhip as strange but he decided since he too was a goblin, that he needed to become use to his kind.
âA-a-afternoon mi-Milord- here is-y-your dri-drink y-you requested.â The goblin then clumsily placed the drink upon the table. Fwhip was about to thank the creature when his eyes widened in fear.
đđ©đȘđŽ đȘđŽ đ”đ©đŠ đŽđąđźđŠ đšđ°đŁđđȘđŻ đ”đ©đąđ” đ±đ°đȘđŽđ°đŻđŠđ„ đźđŠ đŁđŠđ§đ°đłđŠâŠ.
Fwhip felt anger build up as he gritted his teeth hiding them with his lips. So the goblin was a rebel. Here to kill Fwhip in cold blood. It would be seen as a accident because of the fire that would come from it. Fwhip then wanted to hurt that goblin. He wanted justice for hisself. He wanted the goblin to be strangled by himself and then drawn and quartered. Fwhip wanted to then burn the corpse of the goblin once he was done. Just anything to get justice on the traitor.
âSir?â The goblin tilted his head when Fwhip didnât respond. Fwhip then shook his head as he turned to the goblin. His gruesome fantasies gone and now replaced with complicated emotions. âIâm sorry.â He coughed in his hand then. âMind is elsewhere today. Thank youâŠ..â Fwhip stopped for a moment before the name came to mind.
âBoromir correct?â Fwhip felt the memories of his last life and his current life clash together. đđ©đȘđŽ đžđąđŽ đšđ°đȘđŻđš đ”đ° đŁđŠ đ©đąđłđ„.
âY-yes Milord. T-that is c-correct.â The goblin smiled as he stood still. As if waiting. Fwhip felt uncomfortable as the goblin watched him. That was when Fwhip realized what the creature was doing. đđŠ đžđąđŻđ”đŽ đ”đ° đźđąđŹđŠ đŽđ¶đłđŠ đ đ„đłđȘđŻđŹ đ”đ©đŠ đ±đ°đȘđŽđ°đŻ. Fwhip narrowed his eyes as the thought occurred to him.
Fwhip then knew what he had to do. With trembling hands he grasped the cup and pretended to drink the poison. His lips trembled as the liquid touched his mouth. He could almost taste the toxic chemicals in it. His eyes darted up to the wicked goblinâs face whom just stared devilishly at the poor king.
With that the goblin took his leave. He bowed and walked out of the room leaving Fwhip to his supposed death. Fwhip then gasped as he threw the cup across the room where it shattered into millions of pieces. He breathing desperately as he realized how close to death he had been.
âI couldâve died!â He shook his head in disbelief. How could someone do that to theyâre kin?! Fwhip could hardly believe it. Even if he had no emotional connection to this life the fact that anyone would do that was horrible to him.
He couldnât stand it.
Fwhip then wanted to leave the room. So alas, he quickly grasped the handle of the door and pulled it open before he shuffled out into the hallway. He saw goblin maids talking in theyâre work while other goblins worked in silence. Fwhip felt fear rush into him as he realized that anyone could be his enemy.

Fwhip then continued to walk down the halls of the palace with his head down as the thoughts bombarded him. He felt so uncomfortable with knowing about his near death. Uneasiness also filled him because of his new body. He felt extremely quick in his walking like his speed was far faster than in him past life.
A goblin maid bowed humbly at him causing Fwhip to be unsure of what to do. He stayed silent for a full ten seconds causing the humble servant to look up at her leader. âYour majesty? Are you okay?â She asked concerned about her kingâs silence.
đđđšđ„đ€đŁđ đ©đ€ đ©đđ đąđđđđđŁ đ€đ đđđŁđ.

Fwhip groaned at the Watcherâs comment as he continued to walk down the long hallway. That is when he suddenly stopped as a bright light shined from a window. Fwhip covered his eyes to protect them from the light. Then as it started. The light was gone.
âWhat the heck?â Fwhip then walked to the window where he grasped the curtains that failed to block out the light and opened them. There his eyes widened in shock.
The largest cave system Fwhip had ever seen was around him. Ceilings higher than the tallest building back in the Grimlands. Stalagmites grew from the top and dripped water down their spikes. What Fwhip saw next surprised him. Buildings upon buildings were clumped together with such funky designs that he tilted his head. Lights flashed on signs in a abnormal way making Fwhip realize that must of been what he saw.
Why was this empire so wacky? Why was it underground?

âForgive me your highness, but the Witch of The Evermoore wishes to see you.â Fwhip gasped as he turned to see another goblin standing there. This one he recognized as Isildur, his messenger. âForgive me I did not mean to startle you.â The goblin bowed humbly.
Fwhip blinked at the goblin before trying to piece together what he said. ââŠohâŠ.Oh! Yes! The Evermoore. Right-I shall go quickly seeâŠ.â Fwhip then chuckled as he tried to figure the name out of the witch. But no name came to mind.
âWhatâs her name again?â He nervously stated.
âUhâŠsir? The Witch Shelby?â
Fwhip blinked. đđ©đŠđđŁđșâŠ

âOh right. Forgot her name for a second! My mistake! Alright! Thank you!â Fwhip yelled as he suddenly raced to see the magic user. He had no clue where anyone else was butâŠâŠmaybe Shelby could help since she was a witch.
Isildur watched in silence as he saw the goblin king race across the empire. He couldnât help but find the goblin king off.
âYourâŠMajesty?â He shook it off in confusion.
