Dick helped a heavily pregnant Donna off the boat onto the sand of the beautiful island Donna and Diana call home.
Diana hugs the two young adults happily moving away to let Nubia have her turn moving to give clark and lois their own hugs and then they drag their guests away to settle into their own rooms in the palace.
Donna hugs Hippolyta thanking the blonde queen for allowing the birth to happen here. Hippolyta looks into her daughters eyes and tells her that she loves her and there is nowhere she'd rather have her first grandchild born.
Dick spends a lot of time catching up with the Amazons he'd previously met and getting to know who he hadn't before met.
Donna smiled at him gently as she conversed with Lois and Clark.
PAIN....
That is what woke Donna up in the middle of the night. Unimaginable debilitating PAIN.
Donna shook Dick awake "The baby is coming dickie" she told him the agony she felt clear to her groggy best friend, Dick cursed as he got out of bed and picked her up leaving the room politely asking a nearby Amazon to wake up the family.
Dick and Lois held Donna's hands as she yelled in agony pushing the baby inside her into the world, she knows that when this all accompusing pain leaves she'll feel guilty about how their bones are shifting under her palms but now all she wants is this beautiful creature who she loves more than any other living thing out of her body.
After 2 hours of this pain the sound of a baby's cry cuts through the air and Donna slumps as her baby is cleaned and placed in Dicks arms since she is too out of it to hold the baby.
"It's a girl Donz" He whispers to the tired woman before she could fall asleep, Donna smiles happily before slumping further in her sudden sleep.
Clark placed his hand on Dick's shoulder, "I'm so proud of you Dick" he whispers "Thank you Uncle Clark" Lois comes up on his other side "she's beautiful" Dick smiles dopey at her "She is isn't she"
Diana and Nubia replace them looking down at the baby "She is so.." Diana starts "Perfect" Nubia finished surely.
Dick hums not taking his eyes off his baby and he feels something so deep start to form in his chest a whole that only this baby girl will be able to fill.
"I already love her so much" Dick whispers entranced
