Subject: Orchestra Collaboration
Dear Strong Forte,
I have been informed by headmistress Lemaire that we will be performing a joint orchestra concert this year in May. I thought it was important for us to set a rehearsal schedule and some time frames for joint practices. Since the concert will take place at Higgs, I thought it would be good to have the joint practice at Truham. I have received permission from Ms Lemaire to excuse my students for a full day for this practice so the two orchestras can become acquainted with working together. Will late April work with your timeline? Please let me know the dates, so I can work it out with the administration.

Subject: Follow up on facility maintenance request
Dear Mr. Walters,
I was doing a final check of the work that we requested completed over the holidays. It appears that everything is in order, with the exception of the safety door for the instrument storage room. As noted in the initial request, this door should be set to auto-lock to protect the valuable contents of the room. On my punch-list dated October 2nd, I noted that the auto-locking handle was installed backwards. This is a considerable safety hazard, as someone could be locked in the room with no means of egress. Not to mention that the valuable contents of the room are still completely unprotected, since the door still opens freely from the hallway. We already had to rescue two students in November. This is unacceptable, and we will withhold payment until this is rectified.
