Chapter Text
Midoriya was a kind person, he had good grades in every class and also a good reputation in U.A, so who would send him a letter threatening him to get away from Aizawa and leave the school?
He was on his lunch break when he saw it.
He decided to skip lunch and instead go study for the test he’ll have next class. Before he took a seat he noticed and white paper on his desk, curious he opened it right away thinking maybe, it was from one of his friends.
He didn’t expect what was on the paper.
Izuku Midoriya, or maybe I should say Deku because you are useless. You don’t deserve a place in this school, a place in this world at all. You better leave this school and its grounds before next week or I’ll hurt you and your loved ones Aizawa Shouta is only acting nice because he knows you’re a crybaby and you’ll immediately cry if he tells you the truth. Do you think that Aizawa and Yamada care? They are just pitying you .Nobody loves you Midoriya, you should jump off a roof
Tears started building up in Izuku’s eyes, it was indeed true, he was a crybaby. His eyes went back to the part where the letter talked about Aizawa, was it true? He always called Midoriya his problem child or just his child, was all of these just lies?
Midoriya shoved the paper into his bag and got his notebook out instead, but the questions still ran around his head.
-----
The next time he got a letter was at his dorm.
He was getting ready for bed when a knock could be heard on his door, he put his water bottle down and went to open the door. Outside was no one, but when he looked at the ground the same white letter was staring back at him.
With a shaky hand, he picked it up and back into his dorm.
I told you to leave campus, can’t you even do such a simple thing? Good, you’re hopeless. You should just give up Midoriya, no one even likes you, why do you even bother?
He threw the letter into his trash can not wanting to read the other things on it. He wiped his tears before sitting on his bed, why does shit like this keep happening to him?
He went to sleep that night sobbing in his pillow, hoping he won't wake up.
----
The letters continued for days, every single day there was a letter at his dorm, locker, or desk. He stopped reading them and instead just threw them away as soon as he saw them, silently hoping that whoever was behind this will stop soon enough.
He did a good job hiding the letters until one day.
He was walking back to class along with his sensei, Shouta. Izuku asked Aizawa if he could help him with something before the other students will arrive “Thank you so much Sensei, you don’t know how much this will help me” Aizawa only nodded in response.
When they got into the classroom they both noticed two things, Izuku’s desk was destroyed by mud and insects and, there was a white letter atop it.
Shouta turned to Midoriya to ask what all of this but the younger one was already running to get the letter before Aizawa could read it.
Midoriya quickly hid the letter behind his back and turned to his teacher with an awkward smile “Ah, Aizawa-sensei, I brought this dirt for a project” and his teacher gave him the most ‘I know you’re lying so you have 5 seconds to tell me what’s all of this look.
“Problem child” Aizawa was walking towards his student.
“Sensei, this is my doing, d-don’t worry!”
“Give me the letter kid” There it was, his soft voice that he always used on Izuku to comfort him.
“Just- Wait a second Shouta” Midoriya dropped the ‘sensei’ since he knew this was a serious matter. He took one look at the letter and he knew it will be bad, he sighed before giving it to Aizawa.
He didn’t once look up to see what Aizawa’s reaction was, he only stared down at his shoes while fidgeting and almost buzzing with anxiety.
What he didn’t expect though, was a hand to slowly ruffle his hair. He slowly looked up to see his father figure look down at him with an understanding expression “It’s alright, kid, I got you”, he was alright now, Aizawa got him.
Izuku jumped to hug Aizawa almost sending both of them to the ground “The letters were s-so mean S-Shouta!” he started sobbing into the teacher’s shoulder “Why don’t they s-stop?” there was a hand on his back slowly moving, keeping him stable enough.
“Was this the first letter kid?” Shouta could feel the boy shake his head “Do you still have the letters?” a nod this time.
While still holding Midoriya, he got his phone with one arm and texted Yamada to get ready with a few blankets and 3 cups of hot chocolate.
“Let’s go kid, we’re going to my apartment, you had a rough week” the green-haired boy looked at him “But my classes-“ “They are gonna be fine” and with that, they left the class.
At the apartment, the 3 of them (Shouta, Yamada, and Izuku) ended up cuddling on the couch in the living room watching a comedy movie. The kid was out in minutes leaving the two adults talking about what happened.
“Who would even do this Shouta?” Yamada was upset and Shouta couldn’t blame him.
“Take a closer look at the handwriting Yama” his husband did as he was told and seemed to freeze before turning to Aizawa.
“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me” Yamada was slowly shaking his head refusing to believe that the teenager who they ‘adopted’ and cared for is the one behind this.
“I think it's Shinsou” was all Aizawa could say.
