   It's 1986 and Munson’s Cirque Spectaculaire is in town. Steve has never believed in the rumours surrounding the show of supposed freaks until he's attacked by a werewolf and finds the circus is his only safe haven as he begins changing. Training with animal trainer Robin and the young recruit Dustin, Steve discovers he can control his wolf but can't control his need to track down his mate, the enigmatic Eddie Munson, Ring Master of the circus and proclaimed king of freaks.
