    One year following the events of Drago Bludvist's encounter with Berk, the island has become a sanctuary for both dragons and Vikings alike. Guarded under the wings of the last of the Night Furies, Hiccup is fully convinced that nothing could possibly go wrong.

    But when disaster strikes, Hiccup is soon forced to watch as the time-bomb gets closer to detonation. Around every corner, revelations begin to tear Berk apart, and the subtle hints of violence soon escalates beyond any form of control. Aided mostly by, Eret, Valka, and by someone he's unsure if he knows anymore, Hiccup gradually realizes that not everything is as simple as it appears to be. Not everything can be taken for granted. And he begins to learn that when the warrior turns a blind eye, the assassin walks out of the shadows to claim their prize...
