Christmas time was for baking cookies. Watching holiday movies with family. Wrapping presents.
Christmas was also for laying in a pillow fort with your boyfriend watching bad horror movies and pretending like he wasn't experiencing an organ being ripped apart.
It's not that Yuga thought periods were bad or anything, but Fumikage really didn't like thinking about it, let alone talking about it, so they ignored his menstruation. Well, except for the occasional joke or assurance that it didn't make them a woman.
Thankfully, Fumikage didn't really need that much comfort about it. Oh, Yuga didn't mind giving it. But, xe was glad that Fumikage already, mostly, felt confident without it. Because they deserved to feel confident and secure in their gender and self. And Yuga wasn't about to let a little blood take that right from him.
That's why they were watching horror movies. Yuga didn't like horror movies much, especially in December, but Fumikage did. And this was Fumikage's week, so horror movies it was.
Right now they were watching a British movie called 'The Witch'. It was...interesting....Honestly, Yuga was bored out of xir mind, but Fumikage was really into it, so....

Yuga looked over at xir partner. He hadn't complained about fake blood looking fake in a while so Yuga was kinda concerned, not much, just kinda. Though that immediately melted away when xe looked at Fumikage.
The bird-headed teen was fast asleep, clinging onto a Jigglypuff stuffed animal they had stolen from Yuga.
"Awww." Yuga said, snapping a quick photo.
Xe loved xir partner so much.
