Alice couldn't help but be embarrassed by the tears streaming down her face, but....She couldn't stop them....
She had just came out to her girlfriend of five years, Annabeth Chase, as a demigirl. Annabeth hadn't reacted negatively, she hadn't reacted at all yet, but still....Alice couldn't stop, because....She just knew Annabeth would break up with her. Who wouldn't?
"Alice?" Alice sobbed, it was the first time someone had said her name "It's okay. I promise." Annabeth informed.
"N-no." Alice wanted to say more, but couldn't.
"It is."
"I don-wanna break up." Alice explained.
"Neither do I."
"S-so I have to stay Per-cy?" They really didn't want that.
"Absolutely not. You're not Percy, so you don't have to be Percy. You can't be Percy."
"B-but...."
"But, what?" Annabeth asked, her voice softer than a few seconds prior.
"....If I'm Alice....We'll have to break up...."
"And, why is that? We're both bi, right? I don't see the issue."
"Y-you....You're okay with dating a trans girl?"
"Very. I've honestly always figured I would end up in a T4T relationship anyway." Annabeth admitted.
"T4T?"
"Trans for trans. It means that all people in the relationship are trans."
"But....What?"
"Our relationship is T4T because you're trans, and I'm trans."
"I-I understood that....But, you're trans?"
Annabeth's eyes got wide. "You didn't know? I didn't tell you? I thought...."
"Was I supposed to?"
"Yeah, kinda. Most people do. I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Alice sniffled. "It's not your responsibility to tell me unless you want to. And I know you did, but still...."
"Thanks, Al." Annabeth smiled. "Wait! Is it okay if I call you that, or does it make you uncomfortable?"
"Al is fine." Alice assured. "Really. Don't think I'm just saying it, I really mean it's okay."
"Alright, if you say so, Al."
Alice smiled, tears still falling down her face, maybe...they weren't so bad.
