Summary
Raised by his grandmother, Jensen grows up in her idyllic Bed & Breakfast in the White Mountains. Outgoing and friendly as he is, Jensen gets along with all the guests' kids - apart from mean Jared Padalecki, whose purpose in life seems to be making Jensen's life miserable whenever Jared spends his vacations at the Blue Elder Inn.
Even as a young adult, Jared is still a regular guest at the inn and is happy to diss Jensen, until he finally stops coming. Years later, Jared's mother arrives at the Inn, Jared in tow. Having survived a horrible car crash, Jared is both physically and mentally challenged and more dead than alive. When Jared's mother does the unthinkable and abandons Jared in Jensen's care, Jensen slowly learns the sad truth behind Jared's mean facade and faces a difficult decision which will change both Jared and Jensen's lives forever.
